Molde Fjordhotell

We had a wonderful stay at Molde Fjordhotell! The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the fjord and mountains right from the window. The room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We especially loved the terrace by the water — the perfect spot for a morning coffee or a peaceful dinner with a view. We will definitely come back!

Well maintained hotel in good location. Our room was not that big but had all that we needed and was in good condition. Staff friendly and helpful. Free parking was nice and breakfast good. Having a fjord view was well worth it. Nice touch a little chocolate in the room

Had room with balcony and view over Moldefjord. Great start of day to have a coffee there before going down for breakfast. Superb service from the reception during my stay. Kind and service minded. Best bed i have slept in a hotel in a long time. Would definitely stay there again.

The rooms are beautiful and very clean with comfortable beds. The staff has been wonderful especially Edward at the front desk who was very helpful. The included breakfast was delicious.

This hotel is attractively positioned on the waterfront with attractive outdoor terraces, one of which is covered. ||Our room, while compact, was well furnished and had a nice fjord view. However, lots of details were lacking eg no bath mat, no glasses in bathroom, no basin plug, no hooks for robes. Our room had a small balcony, but the weather was too wet for us to use it!||We were surprised that the hotel had no maps of the town. Maps were available (without charge) at the bus station during office hours - but we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, when office was closed. ||Both the hotel bar and the hotel restaurant were closed on Sundays; the bar was also closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Our second visit to this hotel and once again we are very satisfied. At check-in we were told that, like the first time, we had been upgraded to a junior suite. It put an extra edge on the stay! The hotel is superbly located by the quayside, with a massively beautiful view over the fjord and the Romsdal Alps. Lively boat traffic is good "entertainment". All hotel areas clean and pleasant. Good beds. Very nice and friendly staff both at reception and restaurant. We value a really good breakfast which, fortunately, is not as excessively sumptuous as some other places. Only potential for improvement: the parking spaces with charging boxes should be reserved for electric cars...

One of the best hotels that I have ever stayed! Worth visiting Molde again only to stay there!

We spent four nights in early August 2024 and absolutely loved our balcony room, we enjoyed and loved the hotel and Molde in general. We loved the restaurant and especially the fish soup. Very nice and friendly staff. Sure hope we can make it back someday. Jerry and Sherry from Florida.
