Molde Fjordhotell

This hotel is attractively positioned on the waterfront with attractive outdoor terraces, one of which is covered. ||Our room, while compact, was well furnished and had a nice fjord view. However, lots of details were lacking eg no bath mat, no glasses in bathroom, no basin plug, no hooks for robes. Our room had a small balcony, but the weather was too wet for us to use it!||We were surprised that the hotel had no maps of the town. Maps were available (without charge) at the bus station during office hours - but we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, when office was closed. ||Both the hotel bar and the hotel restaurant were closed on Sundays; the bar was also closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Very nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The CEO personally went out of his way and provided me with a new room as the TV in the original room wasn't working! Parking free of charge.

Absolutely the highlight of our vacation driving up the Norwegian coast! Waking up taking the morning coffee out on the veranda located by the fjord with stunning view of the Sunnmore Alps. Breathtaking. Wonderful staff. Great traditional breakfast. Good parking. Great value for the money. Thank you Molde Fjordhotel!

We spent four nights in early August 2024 and absolutely loved our balcony room, we enjoyed and loved the hotel and Molde in general. We loved the restaurant and especially the fish soup. Very nice and friendly staff. Sure hope we can make it back someday. Jerry and Sherry from Florida.

Our second visit to this hotel and once again we are very satisfied. At check-in we were told that, like the first time, we had been upgraded to a junior suite. It put an extra edge on the stay! The hotel is superbly located by the quayside, with a massively beautiful view over the fjord and the Romsdal Alps. Lively boat traffic is good "entertainment". All hotel areas clean and pleasant. Good beds. Very nice and friendly staff both at reception and restaurant. We value a really good breakfast which, fortunately, is not as excessively sumptuous as some other places. Only potential for improvement: the parking spaces with charging boxes should be reserved for electric cars...

Great hotel. We were pleased with the room and the view was spectacular. Sunday the restaurant is closed so be prepared to walk a little bit to find a restaurant.

Location ideal as our room and balcony looked over the fjord and coffee in bed came with a fantastic view. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The thing I appreciated the most were the helpful and friendly staff both while we were there and after we left. They contacted us speedily with information about an item of clothing we left behind in our room and arranged onwards postage with efficiency and charm.

This hotel is located on the waterfront and the rooms have great views.|Breakfast is fine although somewhat limited. The staff were friendly.|At dinner however, the staff were quite different and made you feel as if you were a nuisance.|Unfortunately, the room, whilst being very comfortable, was extremely noisy, with significant creaking from both above and below.|Iin addition, Friday night was VERY noisy.
