Beautiful, peaceful campground with an amazing natural setting. We were lucky to spot a platypus right from the campsite, which was a magical experience. Our child absolutely loved it – lots of space to explore and feel close to nature. Surrounded by stunning mountains and greenery, the views are just gorgeous. A perfect place to relax and enjoy Tasmania’s wilderness.

Great private park, huge pwrd sites with fire pits, also with paddock sized non pwrd area, friendly chickens, camp kitchen, has all amenities, $1/5 min showers so bring coins if office closed. Has lovely running stream with platypus ( didn't sight). Friendly staff. Close to Marakoopa Caves, Truwanna Wildlife! Great view of Mt Roland!

Met Michelle who was so kind and helpful. Campsite is beautiful and well run. Piping hot shower in very clean bathroom. There’s dollar coin showers and laundry facilities. Our powered site was right on the stream and we can hear the lovely sound of running water. There’s fire pits too! Best campsite we’ve stayed in so far!

Absolutely fantastic site. Well run and nice and straightforward for campervans. Incredibly tranquil and we saw multiple platypuses (platypi?...) in the creek! We were just disappointed that we couldn't fit another night here into our schedule. When/if we return to Tassie we will make a beeline for this place. The only possibly negative thing I would say is that an amenities block upgrade wouldn't hurt.

One of our favourite and most charming stops of our Tassie trip. The owners are so lovely and took our firewood to our campsite for us.
One of the highlights of this quiet little spot is the stream that runs behind the campsites, we were lucky enough to spot a platypus in there which was a highlight of the whole trip.
Highly recommend staying here on your way in or out of Cradle Mountain.

Mole Creek Caravan Park.
What can I say, an absolutely awesome place to stay I've been here for 10 days Boxing day to the 6th Jan 2026.
Brian and Michelle 2 of the nicest people you will meet.
There is a majestic little creek that runs through the park itself and if your lucky you will meet the platypus that lives here.
The grounds of the park are immaculate very well maintained.
Amenities although small (2 male toilets and showers) cant speak for the ladies, but they are very clean, also has 2 washing machines and a small camp kitchen again also very clean and tidy.
Deloraine is about 35km drive where there is a butcher, Woolworths, pub bakery etc.. but Mole Creek also has its own small supermarket and pub which is approximately 15 mins drive.
If your looking for a nice chillaxing getaway away from big towns and the hustle and bustle then I cant recommend Mole Creek Caravan park any highlier
$40 per night for a powered site great value, I think so anyway.

Lovely setting of this small Campground on a creek. Amenities (open kitchen with microwave, fridge, teapot, stove), laundry, showers for 1 AUD all in best conditions. The hostess was extraordinarily kind: she did a phone call for me for a reservation, and helped with everything onsite instantly. Would definitely come again! Thank you very much!

We have an awesome 2 days stay here, a great location next to a beautiful creek, views of the mountains, great facilities including firewood, and a brilliant camp kitchen with a fridge, microwave, kettle etc. A great jumping off place for the local caves and Cradle Mountain. Within reach of local towns to top up on your supplies. The owners where really friendly and gave us a great campsite (no.3) and we were very lucky to see two platypuses in the creek druing our stay. A highly recommend campsite.
