Nice, clean place. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. I had a half seize Nachos which was nice, well presented and well priced. Husband had a $34 Seafood basket which was below average. The Menue said ScollopS but it only had one and it was pre packaged Seafood with a side salad ,where the piece of Tomato was old and soft. The dressing was nice, but again... why not peel the cucumber? The skin is bitter. Its the little things that matter, when you pay top dollar for a small meal. Looking at other people's plate, the schnitzel Parmi had the chips UNDERNEATH the schnitzel......soggy. Just get bigger plates,it's not nice. German pancakes : Kaiserschmarrn were $35 !!!! Really? I wish the young owners the very best, but some fine-tuning is needed. Good luck for the future!

We visited this venue a couple of times whilst on holidays & found the proprietors & their staff to be extremely welcoming. The atmosphere, in the bar, was good & the locals only too willing to chat & share stories. The food was excellent - delivered to the table with a smile. A great little country pub. Well worth a visit.

Fabulous stay , great food and welcoming hosts. Heard about the new owners introducing some German food in a radio interview. If you ring ahead they can prepare the most amazing slow-cooked pork knuckle with tasty beer sauce and sauerkraut. Followed up with 'mother's recipe' apple strudel, red wine and chatting with the locals made for a memorable evening. Awesome atmosphere in the Tassie Tiger themed pub! Our room was cosy and comfortable. Will definitely visit again!

The pub has improved noticeably since coming under new management. The décor feels fresher and more welcoming, and the food menu now offers a good balance of updated choices alongside the familiar favourites. Service is consistent, and it’s become a comfortable place to stop in for a meal or drink.

Whilst Motel is in the process of having decor updated, it is extremely clean with all basic amenities required. New owner was very helpful. Location is very convenient to caves etc. Meal lovely. Shared Kitchen with free basic breakfast supplies for quests was a nice bonus. Love the feel of the motel.

We stopped in for lunch and was greeted by a beautiful area to sit and relax. Food was super tasty and everyone was friendly. Go get a steak and say hi to the new owners.

What has happened to the Mole Creek hotel. My family and I have been regular dinners the for 20 years. Never had a complaint. Meals were always hot ,well cooked and a good size meal. As a local hotel should be. I attended the Xmas in July lunch which had a $37 two course meal. We waited over 30mins for a roast dinner consisting of 1 small slice of Lamb and 1 of ham. Both cold and dried out. Very a raw piecw of cauli and broccoli. A few slices of carrot and gluggy gravy. Ps went I say raw I mean raw. The dessert was Chocolate mousse which was Chocolate flavoured thickend cream , Not mouse. I thought maybe it was just a bad day in the kitchen and the waiting staff. BUT NO. I went to lunch there again 2day with family. The meal took 35mins. We were the 2nd table there. It was cold , half the size of the old meals. The salad was nothing like the lovely salads they have always had. Not sure whats gone on there guys but u need to lift your game. Ps Ive been a qualified chef for 46yrs and those meals where crap. Lost our families patronage

We went to have lunch around 3.30pm and it was bit too late for lunch. But the place looks nice and clean. Staff was friendly. We enjoyed a posting a sri lankan mony on the notice board as you can see in the photos.

Yelp
Although we'd booked to spend New Year's night in this place, we walked away after checking in, despite having nowhere else to go. It was that bad. The welcome was icy - the entire bar went silent when two shock horror strangers walked in, and we were told their plans to see in the New Year involved closing early. This was Ok, but then we saw the room. It wasn't clean. I am used to backpacker accommodation and don't mind rough and ready at all, but the shower was mouldy and there were crumbs on the side table. Yes it was cheap, but it was neither welcoming nor comfortable and we were better off chancing our luck elsewhere. Avoid.

Yelp
My fiance and I booked a room here, We expected a lot less then what we got! A+ for cleanliness! The En-suite was cute and the locals are fab! Sorry to the other reviewer but we had nothing but laughs and enjoyment with the locals!
