The accommodation is very comfortable with everything needed to make a stay memorable (including well stocked fridge and welcome meal on arrival!). A great base to explore the beautiful Sierra de Aracena. Our hostess Vanessa could not have been more helpful and gave us great recommendations for local hikes. Highly recommended.

Set in a stunning spot, where the stars are wonderful to view at night! Immaculate gardens, and the cottages have been done very tastefully, both inside and out. Lovely pool with shaded areas. It was sweltering when we visited in July, so we were very glad of the air con in the bedrooms. Beds were comfy and bathrooms generous in size. Two small gripes/suggestions for improvement were the lack of equipment in the kitchen and some slightly tired bedding. It’s a pity our garden had a view of a large pylon, but the friendly feline visitors made up for that! Very helpful owners, and the local town which is a short drive/25 min walk away is full of charm. Would be fab if some meals could be offered, even if just breakfast a couple of times a week. Be warned, the driveway to the venue is extremely narrow!! Oh and the best thing - there appeared to be no mosquitos hurrah!! Would definitely recommend and am sure will visit again.

Everything was exceptional. This area is in the mountains and is surrounded by beautiful forest and streams. The property itself is of top level quality, everything is so well maintained - grass, trees, flowers, stone paths... It exceeded all my expectations. The cottage was so beautiful, quaint inside. The owners thought of all the details, from the crib to the parchment paper in the kitchen. There's also a pool, and a kids pool, and a tennis court where you can play basketball or football. It was a wonderful stay for my parents and for my toddler. We will definitely be coming back here!

A stay was a real pleasure- little and comfortable heaven far away from traffic, polution, city life... There are 6 fairy tail look cottages fully equiped for an unforgatable stay. Rustic style from in and out, lots of original solutions concidering decor and furniture, super nice bathroom with all amenities one needs, modern kitchen, comfortable bed, colorfull bedings, etc. The owners like animals, so dogs are welcome as well. There is a swiming pool, tenis court, lots of place for children plays and endless oportunities for walks, cycling, etc. They can organize diferent activities, from mashroom colecting to horse riding, ham tasting etc. I just wish I will come back some day...

We had an incredible week here. The setting is just perfect - rolling Spanish wooded hills with a beautiful stream running through. Amazing area to hike and watch wildlife. Whilst there we saw black vultures, common waxbills, Iberian green woodpeckers and tons of serin, siskin, crested tit and nuthatch. The accommodation was fantastic. Rustic and comfortable. It did get cold a few nights so bring some warm clothes if you travel for winter (kind of goes without saying :)) We were welcomed by the owners' friends, Albertino and Ingeborg who were looking after the place for a month and they were awesome. Super helpful and ready to make our stay as perfect as possible. the local towns were lovely too. You can easily walk into Alajar from here where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Good times! Highly recommend!

We really loved the place. The house was clean, warm and spacious for our family with 2 toddlers. The shared garden was great with a lot of space for the kids run. There are many walking paths that begin at the footsteps of this place. The hosts were amazing and helped us in everything we needed. Get ready for a rough but manageable ride at the last 500 meters ( a very narrow path) but don’t let it hinder going to this place because it is spectacular.

My husband and I booked a 3-night stay at Los Molinos and loved every minute. ||||The scenery and local area is beautiful - very remote and relaxing. The cottage itself was full of character and charm, with underfloor heating and open log fires. The bedroom was comfortable and we felt like we had found a perfect countryside retreat. We even took the owners’ dogs on long walks and paid for the welcome dinner on our first evening (delicious and highly recommended!). We also had fresh bread and breakfast items brought to us each morning - lots of fresh fruits and local produce. ||||I’d recommend this to anyone seeking some R&R in the Spanish countryside (I even had a foot massage during my stay from a highly qualified local therapist). We went in winter which was wonderful but we’ll be back again in the summer to enjoy the swimming pool/local village bars and restaurants and on site BBQ facilities. ||||Thank you to Peter Jan and Monica for a wonderful trip.
