Google
Such delicious ice cream that we came twice during our vacation in Seattle! ✨🍦✨ It can get crowded here during the evenings, especially on Friday and on weekends. However, the line does move quickly and the guy working the counter is always friendly and cheerful. They have lots on the menu for whatever suits your fancy and a variety of cup/cone options. I also appreciate that they have vegan flavors. I got the vegan coconut chunk and my husband got cookies & cream. The ice cream is rich and creamy, but not heavy. Overall, it’s a great place for dessert, especially after something spicy! 🤭

Google
Portion sizes do not match the prices. Almost $8 for a tiny scoop. Not a place I'd recommend making a regular stop. The ice cream wasn't that great either. I tried the Salted Caramel and it's like to put a pound of salt so I went with the Cookies and Cream. It was better, but I didn't enjoy it like I have in other places.

Alex Galvan

Google
I ordered the melted chocolate brownie sundae.. it was chocolate sugar overload!! The ice cream was delicious and the staff was super nice and helpful. BUT-I'm still trying to justify the $12 price tag... 🥴

Nishanth Reddy Kogilathota

Google
Regularly visit this place, 2-3 times a month. Brownie Sundae with Melted Chocolate Ice Cream, topped with Hot Fudge and whipped cream is my usual order. The Yeti ice cream is really good too. Parking is a little hard to find though depending on day and time.

Google
Yummy! $13 brownie sundae in a waffle bowl. Melted chocolate with hot fudge, whipped cream and a cherry on top. Very crowed specially in the evenings, not that many seats available but place is cozy and restroom is clean

Jamala Talibova

Google
Got to try seasonal blueberry pie cake flavor which was good. Among the usual flavors, I like yeti and honey lavender.

Nada Ramadan

Google
The staff is so friendly. They let you try so many flavors before deciding what you want and the ice cream is just so good!! Recommend the honey lavender

Apryl Chiem

Google
Literally the best ice cream I've ever had. I came here back in 2022 and I still think about the ice cream. I got a single scoop waffle cup. The two flavors I tried were honey lavender and yeti. Both were really good but if I came back I'd probably just get yeti. Their single scoops are hugeeeeee. So worth it and super good. I would come back to Seattle just so I can eat this ice cream everyday I'm there.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. ASK FOR THEIR STAMP CARD if you come to Molly Moons regularly. Multiple locations across Seattle. This location is always bustling so don't be surprised if theres a line out the door because the ice cream is great but it moves decently fast. Cookies and cream and Yeti are always a solid classic flavors, but we almost always get a seasonal flavor which changes monthly. They let you sample the different flavors too before you decide. Dogs not allowed in the store. Limited seating inside and some more small tables out front. If you like ice cream come here and treat yourself!!

Yelp
We were looking for a sweet treat and decided to stop by on our way to Kerry Park. The interior is very bright, aesthetic and welcoming. I opted to get a single scoop and the worker was very helpful, telling us that we could do half scoops and get more than one flavor. Seasonal Apple Cider Donut & Cookie Dough - Cookie Dough is definitely my go to for ice cream flavors and this one did not disappoint. There were so many big chunks of cookie dough mixed into mine and the ice cream was creamy and smooth. The apple cider donut on the other hand didn't have much flavor to it. My friend got the iced latte which was very good as well, it was strong and the coffee flavor showed through. A very cute ice cream shop to get a sweet treat when you're in the area.

Yelp
By golly, Molly! Not sure if I'd go to the Moon and back for this ice cream store. Molly's is a classic Seattle ice cream shop- I had multiple friends recommend it and honestly was a little disappointed. We stopped in on a weekday evening and the line was out the door. It didn't take too long to get through and managed to snag a table out front. However, I wouldn't bank on getting a table because people seemed to sit for a while chatting. I've been to my fair share of "higher end" ice cream stores and this one was probably one of the better ones. But I'm not sure if I could justify the price tag for the measly single scoop. We got their seasonal flavor of blackberry and chocolate. The berry tasted fresh and tangy, but the chocolate chips missed the mark for me- I wish they would have ribboned the chocolate like a stracciatella to make it more elevated. Overall, this place was cute- I loved the design of the logo, the pink is super cute. But would I go back? Maybe... Is it worth trying at least once? Yeah!

Yelp
Service was good. They were friendly and offered to give us free samples. Everything was tooooo sweet for me though. I loved the strawberry. My husband got the Yeti. It was very sweet with caramel and chunks of chocolate. The honey lavender has a strong lavender taste to it. I was thinking and hoping it'd be more subtle. But, if you like strong flavors, this place is for you.

Yelp
A must stop in Seattle for a sweet treat! We walked here from Kerry park which wasn't a long walk. I got the honey lavender that was definitely lavender focused without being soapy and the texture of the ice cream was so fluffy and whipped. We also got their seat salt caramel and they warned us theirs was more sea salt forward than most, which it definitely was, but super tasty as well. Can't go wrong with any of these flavors!

Yelp
Most amazing delicious ice cream and I love that their ice cream is nut free. It's not super creamy - which I love and the flavors are yummy . Recently went and had the salted caramel- it tasted like burnt caramel. Not sure if it was suppose to taste like that. The latte flavor is really good.

Yelp
Best ice cream I've ever tried hands down! It's soooo good and fresh. The shop is small and always busy. Salted caramel - 1000/10 it's soooo good but definitely for a person with a more developed pallet. It isn't your typical salted caramel. It taste kinda like burnt toffee if that makes sense? It's sweet but barely and bitter. It's really really good though. My favorite ice cream ever. Strawberry shortcake - 10/10 it's exactly what you think it will be and so creamy. I enjoyed it though it is seasonal.

Yelp
A must try if you're in the area! Molly Moon's keeps their ice cream really fresh, and have multiple unique flavors to choose from in addition to the tried and true basic flavors you can find anywhere! The ice cream itself is very creamy and generous with more bits in it per flavor without getting too sweet, and they don't skimp on flavor (FYI if you get the lavender, be prepared to taste the flower). This shop is small and very local, but they do a good job getting through the line as quickly and diligently as they can! Everyone is very friendly and patient and they do let you sample many if you'd like, as well as offer a variety of toppings! I highly recommend trying to see if you like it if there's one in your area!

Kwon J.

Yelp
Contents were not mixed for yeti pints I grabbed two pints of yeti Both of them were like this! Unbelievable. Top was full of concentrated toppings, bottom was a plain white creme. I'd make sure to check contents before leaving store next time

Yelp
Fun neighborhood ice cream spot. Great flavors and helpful service. Appreciated you could try the flavors as some ice cream shops are discontinuing that option. We enjoyed what we had.

Yelp
Love this place!! I've been coming for years and it's still my favorite ice cream of all time. The staff is friendly and the seasonal flavors are always delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
I really like their Ice cream! They have vegan selections too. I adore their vegan chocolate cake ice cream. So chocolatey and creamy! Molly Moons has a wide variety of ice flavors and keeps their menu fresh. Its well worth stopping by for a sweet treat! Highly recommend.

Yelp
I love that this ice cream shop is open late! The parking in the evening (after 9 pm) was quite easy. I got the sweet cream flavor and it was delicious! My husband got the cookies and cream and the cookie dough. It was fun that the cookie dough flavor had cinnamon in it. The people were very friendly about giving samples and they have some classics and unique flavors.
google avatar

Yelp
I keep wanting to support Molly Moons because of their tip free, paying living wages to employees, supporting local organizations mentality... BUT let's be real it's expensive ice cream when the scoops do not even reach the top of the cup and you can see to the sides of the bottom when the single scoop is so small you want to cry because you just spent a bunch of money for barely anything. PLEASE retrain your employees and have uniformity is what is served. I received more ice cream when I came in with my voting stub than I did when I paid for a scoop. My family often comments about the lack of tasty seasonal flavors that rotate monthly. I love that you support local with your ingredients but there definitely is flavor lacking. It's such a bummer because we love your business model

Yelp
I was craving ice cream and wanted to try a new place so I decided to stroll over to Molly Moon's and give it a try. When I arrived, around 3:15 on a Sunday afternoon, there were quite a few people outside enjoying their ice cream on the tables. I went in and there were about 6 people in line ahead of me, but the line went fast. Based on the flavors available, I decided to confidently get the honey lavender in a waffle cone, final price ~$9.10. I did find it very refreshing that there was no option to tip, and there were signs stating as such. I got my ice cream very quickly, and the people working were incredibly efficient. The ice cream itself was great! Creamy, sweet, and lavender forward which I love. The waffle cone was crunchy and had a mild sweetness, so overall exactly what I look for! Will definitely come back again.

Yelp
One of the best ice cream in Seattle! Actually stumbled upon this after walking around Kerry Park and so glad I did. The place is a cute little place with seating inside and outside. Great for a sunny day. Service was great! The guy who helped me was very friendly and patient. I got the cookie dough and honey lavender as well as the strawberry double scoop. I loved the honey lavender! It wasn't too floral which I like and it was just so creamy! It paired well with the cookie dough which has little cinnamon and nutmeg in it. My goodness I loved every bite! Definitely a must try!

Yelp
We stayed in an Airbnb nearby. During a great late summer/early fall weather in the mid 70, we decided to stop by this place for a treat. We ordered 3 double scoops: 1) Peach and lavender 2) Caramel and blueberry pie 3) Sweet cream and blueberry pie All are very tasty with creamy texture. The only flavor they is not too strong is peach but it's seasonal so not on menu all the time
google avatar

Rekha M.

Yelp
Why would anyone put cinnamon in the chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream? Totally ruins the flavor The best flavor, yeti, has granola... Why would you put granola in the best ice cream flavor? Molly Moons is cool because it's a female owned local small business in Seattle. However, if I'm going to spend the calories on ice cream, then it's gotta be the great. The recipe proportions at Molly Moons almost always over-index on cream and sugar, and do not have enough flavor. I leave feeling guilty and dissatisfied. The last time I visited the vegan toasted coconut, tasted burnt and it was $8.99 for a single scoop cup.
google avatar

Jackie B.

Yelp
What a treat of an ice cream place! We only waited 10 min, our server lets us try several flavors before ordering. I highly recommend the salted caramel with candied hazelnuts. There were tables outside to enjoy, or we went for a walk with it.
google avatar

Othon H.

Yelp
When it comes to Seattle Ice Cream, there's two camps, Molly Moon's and Salt & Straw. Although I'm partial to Salt & Straw, the "Yeti" flavor is definitely way high on my list. Also gets the fifth star for adjusting prices to include tipping.
google avatar

Steven T.

Yelp
Got the Dutch Apple Pie Ice Cream. This seasonal flavor may have taken the cake for my favorite flavor. Nice creamy ice cream with bits of apple tasted exactly like apple pie. Great ice cream shop with lots of great flavors!
google avatar

Jess Y.

Yelp
This is my favorite Seattle ice cream spot. My favorite thing to order is mollys favorite sundae (mini size). Love their hot fudge and candied hazelnuts!
google avatar

Yelp
Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream is definitely the best ice cream joint in Seattle! My family got lucky that our Airbnb was close by and when we went there was no one in the store at the time! Score for us! I picked up three pints while I was here because why not stock our airbnb freezer with delicious goodness because I knew instantly that getting a scoop would not be enough for me! I got the following: scout mint scoopers pint (18 oz), cookies & cream scooper's pint (18 oz), and mocha chip scooper's pint (18 oz), The scout mint and cookies & cream were my favorite and the mocha was good too but a little heavy on the mocha part for my personal taste. The staff here were very kind and efficient and let me tell you how refreshing it was to see they were an establishment that enforced tip-free business. I was really impressed by that! I'll definitely be back when I visit again!
google avatar

Yelp
First time at this ice cream location and it was delicious. My gf and I are visiting from San Diego, Ca. Definitely recommend this ice cream shop after visiting Kerry Park.
google avatar

Oscar L.

Yelp
Ordered a split single scoop between two seasonal flavors: Gingersnap and Vegan Pumpkin Chai. The gingersnap flavor was very good and would highly recommend. The vegan pumpkin chai wasn't as good as the gingersnap flavor, but was worth trying out. Service was great, the card reader wasn't working for some reason and they gave me the ice cream on the house!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a super cute Molly Moon's next to an old network tower. The staff is very nice as with all their stores. We got a Black Forest Cake sundae. All their cups, spoons and cutlery are compostable. Cute spot to walk up to from Kerry Park!
google avatar

Katie C.

Yelp
Delicious! Love this local ice cream! Great toppings my daughter loves to have the chocolate ice cream with hot fudge!
google avatar

Michael E.

Yelp
I've been going here for years. Live in QA. The scoop sizes are crazy small for the price! They don't seem to care. I just got 1/2 a small cup for over $7. I'm done.

Yelp
4.5 stars rounding up~ Not quite a perfect 5 star experience since moving to Seattle but pretty darn close! After walking at least 10 miles around the city which included going to the top of Queen Anne, I definitely deserved some ice cream. * BLACKBERRY This was bursting with blackberry flavor. I loved all the jammy swirls running throughout and even the parts without the jam still had the ripe blackberry flavor coming through. The ice cream itself was creamy and rich. No doubt the ingredients they are sourcing is what makes this a quality product. The waffle cone was super crunchy and thick. I will say that the thickness made it a little difficult to eat once the cone started overlapping on itself though. Service was kinda ehhh but the ice cream and the fact that they pay their employees well (tip-free business) really made up for it.
google avatar

Reeya C.

Yelp
Molly Moon's is definitely the most popular ice cream place in Seattle. So when I visited, I knew I had to check it out. The Queen Anne location was fairly busy on Saturday evening, so it took around 20 minutes to order even after arriving. You definitely get a homey vibe when you're inside, though. I wasn't wowed by this place. Yes, the ice cream was good, but it wasn't spectacular. I got a split scoop with the Mocha Chip and the Blueberry Pie. The former was nothing special, but solid. The latter was super delicious, and I loved the pie chunks I tasted with each bite (I think this one is a seasonal flavor). I personally prefer Salt & Straw, but take that with a grain of salt because I've only tried Molly Moon's once. Something I wish I would've tried with my friends is their flight because that way you can try all the flavors for only $15!
google avatar

Keith W.

Yelp
Quality ice cream with a style of their own. We had the cookies and cream and mocha ice cream. I generally prefer my ice creams creamier but Molly style is excellent as well. The ice creams have this freshness and quality taste to it and I'm sure it's just that, quality! Yum!
google avatar

Regan C.

Yelp
My family loves Molly Moon's, but the young man that worked there during our visit was either high or hated his job. He acted like he was pissed we were there, like we were bothering him. We didn't have any special orders or anything, just ordered a few cones. He was like that with everyone in line. Very unpleasant, and totally ruined our experience. He also scooped ridiculously small scoops!! Charged for single scoops, but received kids scoops :(
google avatar

Steve V.

Yelp
I always come to this location when I am in town and it has become my favorite one! The line is manageable here and most of the time, very short. The employees are super friendly and patient with the sampling of flavors. The inside is small, but has a few tables and the high counter area, where you can look out to the street while enjoying your ice cream. They have a full set of flavors at this location. My favorites are the Mocha Chip and Scout Mint. I love the strong and bold coffee taste in the Mocha Chip and that there are not too many chips. For the Scout Mint, I love that it is white and not green, and the mint flavor is not too strong. Parking here can be difficult, but worth the effort!
google avatar

Jenny H.

Yelp
What a gem! The ice cream here has earned my highest compliment for American desserts--that it's not too sweet! We had a double scoop bowl with the honey lavender and strawberry. You can also get two flavors in one split scoop, so up to four flavors for a double scoop. The ice cream is so fluffy and creamy! The honey lavender is a delicate sort of fragrant, and the strawberry is a little tart and a little sweet just as a strawberry would be. Definitely a must-try if you're visiting from out of town, and it's clearly well-loved by locals, too.
google avatar

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
I have no bad things to say about Molly Moons. Every flavor I have tried is alway creamy and delicious. Service is fast. And I am alway trying new flavors. An OG favorite is the scout mint chip. But definitely ask to try the different flavors to help you decide which one to get!
google avatar

Ally P.

Yelp
Got a flight of all the flavors bc I was too indecisive! Super exciting and the scoops were a good, small, but big enough size to try all the flavors multiple times with many people. I like that Molly moon had this and it was only $15. You can't really see the scoops bc we covered it with waffle cone topping and brownie bits (brownie was bomb)z but they gave us a lil paper map to show which flavor is which. Flavors were kinda tough to depict and the ice cream all melted into the bowl like an ice cream soup within 15 min but that's expected. Just make sure you eat fast if you get the same!
google avatar

Myung K.

Yelp
Love the location. Want some break from downtown bustle. Above. Walk or bike or bus. Could stop by Kerry park.
google avatar

Calvin C.

Yelp
This is a COVID-era review. One thing I appreciate is the strict mask policy. They actually enforce it and make sure you are masked up before entering. Kudos for having the courage. There is a restroom in the back. The line to order usually goes out the door but it goes by quickly. Lots of classic flavors but I tried the seasonal one in honor of pride. Because of COVID, there are no samples but they are friendly and will provide recommendations. You can't really go wrong with your order as long as you avoid what you are allergic to. I LOVE that they donate the 10% to charity!!! Lastly, there are two tables outside so if you are able to snag a spot, it's cute just relaxing outside
google avatar

Gina H.

Yelp
While in town on a business trip, met up with friends to have dinner and then dessert here. Service is some what rude - maybe they had hard time hearing me but not friendly at all. The place is pretty small and there can be a long line that takes up the almost entire restaurant. Because I am dairy free, got the one and only vegan ice cream flavor - salted caramel. Not only was it unpleasant to look at (weird color), it was overly sweet and salty! Little disappointed that this supposed to be a famous ice cream place.
google avatar

Karen L.

Yelp
All I can say is yum! I loved the flavors I tried. Yeti was wonderful, especially with hot fudge on top. Service was fast and efficient. Fun stickers and T-shirts. I love that the employees can actually make a living wage. Try this place if you are in the area.

Karen W.

Yelp
Stopped in on a rainy Saturday and found a lot of sunshine in this wonderful Ice cream shop. Marika was warm and welcoming and offered a sample of the salted caramel ice cream. While it was a little too salty for me, my husband loved it, especially on their waffle cone. The strawberry I close was perfect. Wish we lived closer, this would be a regular stop! It's very close to Kerry park, so if you stop to enjoy the view, get ice cream first!

Yelp
Molly Moon's is an iconic must-go ice cream shop in the Seattle area. Their flavors are not only unique, but SO rich in flavor! I came with a bunch of friends (7 of us total) and we ordered two ice cream flights. This was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The flight includes every single flavor they have at the time, including the special edition ones! For us, we got the pride inspired flavors (capitol hill crunch was my favorite). And only $12.50 for each flight! It was pretty cheap to split between us, but still filling! Counting down the days until I can go again to try more of their flavors...
google avatar

Coco G.

Yelp
Molly Moon's is a cute little ice cream shop that makes waffle cones on site and hot does the aroma draw you in from a few blocks away! We ordered the honey lavender and pink lemonade sorbet, both unique refreshing flavors. The waffle cones were as delicious as they smelled--crisp and sweet perfection. The service is fast and friendly so even if there's a line out the door, you'll be getting your sweet treat in no time at all. Most people seem to take they orders to go as there's limited seating. If you haven't tried it, check it out! You might get hooked! (I mean it's ice cream.)
google avatar

Yelp
Great ice cream and service!!! I love the vanilla ice cream with the hard chocolate topping. Awesome place for a late night dessert
google avatar

Heather L.

Yelp
Ice cream was a delicious treat on this warm summer afternoon! Two of my friends and I shared the ice cream flight, which is an amazing option since we were able to try every flavor on the menu. It was the perfect amount to split among 3 people. I did feel like the ice cream melted really quickly, it was getting liquidy moments after it was scooped into our bowl. But the various flavors were very good and had a great selection of flavors and ice cream types to fit different dietary restrictions.

Yelp
What is one of the best ways to end a sunny day in Seattle? With ice cream of course! After a visit to Kerry Park, my family drove about five minutes to Molly Moon's for a sweet treat to help beat the heat. Enticed by the August flavors of the month, we each ordered a single scoop with two flavors (two half-scoops). I went for the Peaches & Cream and Blackberry Sorbet. With both being fruity, I figured they would pair nicely together. The Blackberry Sorbet was super refreshing with the perfect balance of both tart and sweet. I find most sorbets extremely sugary for my liking, but this one tasted truly natural and was chock full of berry seeds! On the other hand, the Peaches & Cream was a little disappointing. It had light swirls of peach jam, but they were almost completely masked by the flavor of heavy cream. With this said, the ice cream was relatively rich, but definitely missing that essence of peach that I expected. Perhaps chunks of peach would have elevated this flavor further. On a similar note, a couple of my family members tried the Lemon Blueberry, which they enjoyed, but were seeking a stronger zing of citrus. Located next to Top Pot Doughnuts, this is one "sweet" corner of Queen Anne. No wonder the service is so personable! The two employees behind the counter welcomed us and made friendly conversation despite the current situation where we were quickly in and out of the shop. I'm already looking forward to seeing the next round of their seasonal flavors!

Yelp
After a restless day, I felt an inexplicable urge to indulge in ice cream and stroll. We ventured to Molly Moon's, where I was met with a vast array of flavors. Amidst the more commonplace offerings, there were peculiar choices reminiscent of those at Salt-n-Straw, such as ice cream with the flavor of corn. Nevertheless, I commend Molly Moon's for their boldness in experimentation, especially in this district where eccentricity thrives. I selected the 'Melting Chocolate' and 'Scout Mint' in a bowl accompanied by a crispy waffle. The 'Melting Chocolate' perplexed me; its texture was unusually dense, and I could not discern the source of its name. The 'Scout Mint' scoop, however, triumphed above all else. I note that the cost of this delicacy was a considerable sum, yet when one is atop Queen Anne, it is a trivial impediment to pleasure. In spite of our server's helpful and efficient service, I was left with a sense of regret as I realized that the use of Apple Pay prevented me from offering a gratuity to express my gratitude.

Yelp
First visit to Molly Moon's Ice Cream and it lived up to the hype. Rich, creamy and delicious. No artificial flavors. Just all goodness. The shop is cute and has a friendly vibe. So many unique flavors. I have to go again to try them all. Highly recommend $9 Double Scoop Yeti Pricey but worth every bite

Yelp
This review is for my salted caramel order, it was not good and salted caramel is my favorite. Ice cream was just salted, it was creamy and ok at first , it got more salty each bite. Waffle cone claimed to be fresh, it was not crispy. I love ice cream and don't like to throw away ice cream or waste expensive ice cream, but I did. My friends like their orders but I can't review what I did not eat. Salt and straw has better salted caramel and waffle cone.
