Molly Tea (Downtown)

Molly tea made me fall in love with jasmine milk tea. When I first tried their matcha jasmine milk tea, I was surprised at how fragrant and floral and light the milk tea was, paired with the tasty matcha foam. I eventually found myself craving the same drink and now, it's safe to say this is one of my favourite guilty pleasures in the city. I only say guilty pleasure because it's very pricey, and I can't justify getting it more than once a week. Nonetheless, I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who likes fragrant and not too heavy milk teas. I'm sure their other drinks are great too, however I'm happy to stick to my favourite menu item.

a really beautiful tea spot only a few minutes walk from wellesley station. staff were quick and efficient, the longish line went by quickly. i got the jasmine matcha and my friend got the jasmine tea, and they were both delicious. the jasmine wasn't overpowering at all and blended nicely with the fresh matcha cheese topping. overall, really delicious. only downside is the straws are annoying 😅

If you love jasmine tea, Molly Tea is a must-visit! I tried both the Snowy Jasmine and the Premium Jasmine Milk Tea, and they were absolutely delicious. The Premium Jasmine Milk blends green tea and fresh milk. It’s lightly creamy, but the floral, refreshing jasmine flavor still shines through. The Snowy Jasmine brings a moment of rich, indulgent pleasure! Green tea, jasmine tea–infused whipped cream and crunchy pecans are perfectly layered and balanced. Highly recommend!

highly recommend place for milk tea lover! I ordered two drinks, the Jasmine Milk Tea and the White Champaca Milk Tea. They both really good. If you like a strong flavor of tea, then the Jasmine should be your pick, and if you like a light scent of tea and more milk, then the latter would be a better choice! The cups are so cute that we decided to keep them for decoration!

Delicious, although expensive. It definitely caters towards Asian tastes with the 70% recommended sugar level being not sweet at all! If you’re more of a sweet tooth, 100% would definitely be better, but it was still tasty regardless of sugar level. The whipped cream drinks are my go-to and are a great blend of sweetness and more mellow, jasmine tea. The atmosphere is small and workers use a microphone system for better quality. They’re quite attentive to detail and sanitation! My only complaint is that they’re quite pricey, even in this economy with overpriced matcha. Overall, not too bad.

If you love jasmine tea, Molly Tea is a must try! Such high quality tea and amazing flavours. Absolutely loved the Premium Jasmine Matcha! Unfortunately they were sold out of the snowy jasmine.

Delicate, Creamy, and Refreshingly Unique! I tried the Premium Jasmine Matcha and it was such a pleasant surprise! The floral notes of jasmine paired beautifully with the earthy richness of matcha—super smooth and perfectly balanced. It wasn’t overly sweet, which I loved, and the texture was creamy and comforting. You can tell they use quality ingredients. Definitely one of the best matcha drinks I’ve had in a while. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

Since opening their doors last year, Molly Tea has continued to bring delicious and refreshing beverages to the Greater Toronto Market with their amazing service, cheerfulness and fresh teas! All the teas are brewed fresh and the whip cream is delivered with precision! The staff always says goodbye and thank you every time you leave the business which is a nice touch. The Snowy Gardenia is a nice balance of green tea with a hint of sweetness coming from the fresh Jasmine whip cream adding a smooth overall rounded taste. The Peach Oolong Tea is a nice balance between the natural sweetness of peaches and oolong tea for a great experience of flavour! As always, Molly Tea is a fun place to visit!
