This place is a great spot to come hang out on a patio. We brought dogs with us and they were very accommodating with water bowls. The pups had a fun time chilling outside while we got a bucket of high noons and some lunch. For the food we got two specials, the mollys sandwich, which was a burger, and the shrimp tacos. I was very pleasantly surprised by the shrimp tacos! The burger was also good, needed a little more acidity like a tomato, onion, or something? But still good. The service was slower because it was busy, and outside on the patio you order from the bar. The bartenders were great and efficient, the person who brought us our food was kind and attentive. Overall this was a fun time and a great place full of energy and good vibes !!

STL Ladies Brunch Group had an incredible experience at Molly’s in Soulard after making a last-minute pivot due to storm damage at another restaurant. They welcomed our large brunch group with no problem and went above and beyond—including surprising us with complimentary champagne! The service was fantastic and the food was even better. I had the avocado toast (delicious!), and several people at our table raved about the bourbon French toast. Molly’s may not be the first place people think of for brunch, but it absolutely should be. They made a chaotic morning feel like a celebration.

Paige was the best server! Very attentive and personable. Brunch was excellent

We sat on the patio with our dog and the atmosphere was great! The bartender was lovely and made an excellent bloody mary, I just wish the gumbo was better, as it was mostly rice and okra and no sausage or chicken. The shrimp and cornbread it was topped with were delicious though, same with the mozzarella balls (even though they forgot our pesto).

Sat on the patio and really enjoyed the time here. There was quite a bit of confusion regarding the specials. The food was just okay. My Patio Sunset drink was delicious

The waitresses are always great and. Very attentive. We stopped by for Sunday brunch and it started raining very hard. They all worked to get customers under the roofed areas and out of the rain. I love the outdoors areas and all of the decorations and plants. The food is always really good and the Bloody Mary is a must try.

Overall it was good. The food was okay. Pricing I guess is competitive. The atmosphere is nice, you sit Outdoors if you wish. The outdoor chairs aren't too comfortable.

Our waiter Nancy Paige was the best server ever! Love this place! The food and atmosphere were the best! Got the Hangove it was soooo good.

Yelp
Nancy was a fantastic server. Our table was a bunch of degenerates, and she handled us with speed and grace. 10/10 server.

Yelp
Our server tonight was Sara. She was friendly, attentive and professional. She recommended the Brussel sprouts. They were yummy.

Yelp
Molly's is such a gem! My hubby and I brought our pup here to sit on the patio and enjoy some drinks and apps! I LOVED the oyster happy hour where it was $1 or $2 per oyster!! My hubby loved the gator rangoons. 10/10 recommend! The ambience and area was so cute FYI- they do have a ton of dog bowls for water around!

Yelp
A fun time was had by all! I met up with some of my former coworkers for Molly's happy hour (which I just found out about) and I was pretty impressed. They got there before me and saved a table. I was parched and hungry so I went for my usual (grape and sprite). As for food, I got a side order of tots and Brussel sprouts. While not pictured, my drink came in this really cool cup that changes colors. After what seemed like a total of four minutes flat, my food arrived. Talk about getting more than what you bargained for! The "sides" were HUGE. It's funny because all the people that weren't hungry all of a sudden became hungry. The tots were crispy with a light dusting of salt. While the Brussel sprouts were good, some more glaze would have made them even better. One of the things I've always loved about this place is the space, especially on the patio. The drinks never disappoint and the food wasn't bad either. I can't wait to come back when later in the summer.

Yelp
I actually do Molly's brunch pretty often. The brunch menu is phenomenal and I have never had anything bad. My favorites are the burritos, breakfast pizza and avocado toast. Don't skip out on their boozy brunch beverages! The Irish Breakfast shot it the best! As long as you're sitting in the dining area the service is amazing. After brunch sit out on their beautiful patio and have some great drinks. Great place for a Sunday Funday.

Yelp
I recommend the Cajun pasta. Very delicious and my waiter was very accommodating and knowledgeable.

Yelp
Awesome brunch - Paige provided incredible service! She is a true all-Star. The food was great & the atmosphere was really fun.

Yelp
OMG "the hangover" was the best brunch meal I've had in a long time. I was a bit skeptical because it's a hodgepodge of things but they fit together perfectly! The biscuits, gravy, caramelized onion, potato, cheese and bacon we was somehow the perfect combo (I got mine without eggs). The cold brew martini was good & the vibe was fun! Our service was a little slow but they were also very busy at 1130 on a Saturday. Thankfully the 3 of us were able to get in without a reservation.
google avatar

Yelp
The service was amazing. The food was delicious. I loved the make your own Bloody Mary. I got to customize it and it was a dream! This is perfect for a weekend brunch with the girls when it's patio weather.

Yelp
Love, love, loved the Cajun deviled eggs! Wasn't quite sure what to expect (brace yourself - they are very rich!), but they were quite tasty. I was seated at a bar with a larger group, but service was prompt and attentive. My next visit I think I'll try the dining section.

Yelp
Molly's was a short walk from our Airbnb and in such a fun, historic neighborhood of St. Louis. Their outdoor patio area was HUGE. Definitely a great place to go when the weather is nice so you can sit outside and enjoy a drink. They had a large drink selection and several bar areas. The food was great too! Lots of New Orleans inspired dishes. I was very happy with the food and our service was quick (we were there early and it wasn't very busy). Reasonable prices too. Check it out if you're in the Soulard neighborhood!
google avatar

Jim T.

Yelp
Our family visited the area and Molly's just happened to be a stone throw away. Alexis was great as a server only being on her own for three days. Keep up the good work! The food was good and the beer was cold. We sat outdoors on the patio and enjoyed the shade and breeze on a hot day.
google avatar

Elsa L.

Yelp
Went here for brunch - the patio of Molly's is second to none. When wanting to enjoy the outdoors for brunch, this is an amazing option. I gave it four stars because the food was good, but nothing to write home about. There are better brunch food options - but it was still good enough that I would come again for brunch!

Yelp
If you are looking for Cajun options, this is a must visit, particularly when it's nice outdoors. We last went on a nice fall day and took advantage of the extensive patio seating areas. There are multiple outdoor bars and plenty of dining areas. It's charming and also cozy with the trees and twinkle lights after dusk. The servers are always very nice and attentive. We had the deep fried devil eggs appetizer, so so good! I opted for the jambalaya entre, and it is really darn close to authentic Cajun cuisine that you'd get in New Orleans. Their portions are ample and overall everything is a great value. We went early evening on a Friday so didn't have any wait.
google avatar

Yelp
Definitely worth the visit! Great local bar located in beautiful (and historic) Soulard MO. You can enjoy inside and outside seating. Maybe it doesn't matter to everyone but it does me: the heaters outside work great! Traditional bar food offerings plus a couple unique choices (try the famous alligator rangoons..delicious). The service was excellent! FYI: there is a True Crime Tour which meets in front on Molly's (which is how we found it) that is definitely worth checking out, also.

Yelp
I hadn't been to Molly's since I frequented Mardi Gras many years back. But, we were in search of a really good Bloody Mary since the place that used to serve our faves shut down. I read that Molly's were great and they were right! I always appreciate a customizable Bloody Mary menu because everyone's tastes are so different. I also appreciate getting to pick from so many toppings- some free, some for a fee. I was disappointed that they don't do bacon vodka in them anymore because that really kicks a Bloody Mary up a notch. I prefer pickle, cucumber, or bacon vodka in them, but this one was great with regular vodka. It was fresh, salty, and savory! We also had The Hangover and the Belgian Waffle aka Berry Compote and both were delicious! The Hangover was probably my fave- lots of different toppings and yummy gravy. Service was friendly and fast and their patio still looked appealing despite the cold weather!

Yelp
I enjoyed Molly's in Soulard. I was pleasantly surprised at the meal for the appearance of a beer joint. The menu has an extensive choice of entrees and sandwiches and everything was well prepared and savory. Excellent service too by our server and her trainee who had cheerful attitudes and good skills to upsell us an appetizer. I like that. Will definitely return to Molly's.

Yelp
Great service, great food, and great staff! In the heart of Soulard, don't not sleep on this spot.
google avatar

Yelp
The outdoor patio was really nice and relaxing with giant trees providing shades. They have a ton of space and this would be good for big groups. The staff here was welcoming and friendly. There was no wait when we came for dinner on a Friday. If you like hanging out at the bar, there were several to choose from. The menu offers a nice variety of food. Alligator Rangoons $14 - These were ok, can't really taste the alligator in all the sauce. Gumbo Bowl $10 - Spicy, hot and delicious! It was loaded with sausage and big enough to share for 2 people. You can also opt for the cup size for $7. Bananas Foster $10 - Giant scoop of ice cream with caramelized banana slices. Coors Lite bottle $3.50 Free parking in the lot. .|\---/| | o_o | .\_^_/..2023

Yelp
As a Lafayette Square resident, it's so crazy to me that I had never been here before! Went out with some work colleagues yesterday (Tues) during happy hour @4 to grab drinks. Probably 6 people to the whole patio (many more with our large group). The area was quiet and very enjoyable to sit around and chat; plenty of seating, sunshine streaming through gaps in the roofing areas, and crisp fall air. I ordered the buffalo chicken dip which was a solid appetizer. I would recommend it for 2-3 people. I do wish there had been more chips. They did not have any beer on tap, so come prepared with your favorite beer/can order ready.

Yelp
Purchased tickets for $75.00 for their New Year's Eve party. Was very dissatisfied. Had to wait in line for 40 minutes in freezing weather, just to get in! Then at the end of the night, the bar stop serving alcohol at 1:15. And we got the bums rush out the door before it was even 1:30. Won't be back

Yelp
I've been here a million times but have never left a review. It's probably because this place has always been a place that I've always come to if I was in the area. The spot is always the spot where friends meet up to start the night and enjoy good patio weather. This place is ginormous random has so many different bars to sit at! The food is always good and the drinks are cold. It's a perfect place to come and have some drinks with friends, grab a bit to eat or to come and catch the game. It's a St Louis staple!

Yelp
By far best time here for soulard Mardi Gras 2024. So many different djs and places to drink or sit or pee. Came with like five gfs for night out. Service from door bouncer and bartenders was by far amazing and would go again. Heated enclosed areas for this event. Party vibes forsure!

Yelp
Popular bar with outdoor area for events in nicer weather. Bathrooms not so nice. Some maintenance needed in outdoor area. Molly's is a college bar type place - fun upbeat setting.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Service was great. Drinks were refreshing. Favorite dish was the buffalo chicken egg roll.

Yelp
I stopped in to Molly's shortly before 9:00 pm on a Friday night, looking for a bite to eat. Molly's, although it looks like a bar, has a full food menu. I was told the menu was just redone. I enjoyed the Pulled Pork sandwich, which was made especially delicious by the slaw and jalapeno toppings. Lindsay was my bartender and she was friendly and had great rapport with many of the people there. By 10 pm, the place was hopping with the nighttime crowd. It seems like there are several separate spots in the bar - an indoor bar, outdoor heated patio, upstairs, a dining area, etc. I didn't explore them all, but it seems like this would be a fun place to be for a night out.

Yelp
This is Gem!!!! I looked on map to find brunch off highway and looked at reviews and decided to visit ! The atmosphere, setup, service and food were great. The build yojr own bloody was my fav! And oyster shooter. Next time I am in St Louis I will visit at night! Theh ah e small cute rooftop that is open weekends at 9:30pm I noticed living they also have live bands/singers!!!

Yelp
There were 13 people in our party. The appetizers, fried brussel sprouts and spinach dip were good. However when the food came out we all had issues with our orders. My loaded fries, didn't have all the toppings as stated on the menu, my wings came out with all flats that I didn't request. The shrimp tacos didn't have any sauce on them. Oh and the lemonade was water! The ambiance was very nice a true mix of laid back chill to chic. The waiter stated that someone in the back was new. However Noone ever for all the mix ups. Which was a bit disappointing to say the least. #EPICFAIL

Yelp
I decided to introduce my daughter to Soulard's restaurants so we went to Molly's for brunch. I have been here before and got the breakfast tacos so I tried something new. This time I tried the breakfast tostadas. Equally as good. Service is always friendly and they are very attentive. Its very laid back and I like places that have patios. They had a sign that the shuttle for Cardinals games so I may try it on my next visit.

Yelp
My friends and I had a nice time at Molly's yesterday! We arrived around 2:30 pm and it was already super crowded on the patio, but we were able to find a nice little area to sit down and hang out. Ordering drinks at the bar was easy, service was as fast as it could be and the drinks were good. When we wanted to order our food, they informed us that we had to go to the other bar (at the bottom of the stairs) to order our food. My friend and I went to order and decided to just get a bunch of snacks. They gave us a number and we told them the area that we were sitting in so they could deliver the food to us. When the food came, it was super fresh and very hot. My main complaint is that napkins were nowhere to be found. When they delivered the food, they did not bring any napkins and even though we asked, we never got any. I wandered around the bar(s) looking for even beverage napkins, but could not find any. I even went into the ladies room to look for hand towels, but there weren't any. It was challenging for those of us eating because some of the items were ordered were oily and/or messy. We also noticed that with the chicken wings, they did not bring us any blue cheese or ranch. Was the food good? Yes! But I am just a little disappointed that we could not find napkins. Other than that, the space is great. The drinks were good. The atmosphere was lovely. I do enjoy Molly's and I will for sure go back again and again!

Yelp
We don't go during the party/ club nights. Every time we've been the food's been good and drinks (mostly) good. We love the patio, nice atmosphere. This time my boyfriend had the Nola Shrimp and loved it. I tasted his cornbread and rice and it was very good. I'm gonna eat one of the cornbreads every time I go. My black bean burger was delicious and the broccoli cooked perfectly. My skinny cranberry cocktail was not good. BF got the Cadillac Margarita and was delicious. Never had a complaint with the service, it's very good. We'll obviously be back.

Yelp
Loving this place. We visited based on a recommendation from some locals claiming it was the "biggest patio in St. Louis". We were quickly greeted and seated, host even asked where we prefer to sit which I loved. We grabbed a comfortable table and ordered some drinks and food. Everything was great, the sangria was totally unexpected but great. Service was friendly and attentive, other patrons were friendly and talkative as well. Weather was perfect, space was nicely laid out and I'd describe this place as a great meet up spot. Would totally come back here.

Yelp
Love Molly's! I already knew their outdoor patio space and drinks were amazing, but this is the first time I'd had their food. We had brunch on a Saturday for my friend's bachelorette weekend in Soulard and loved it! The service was super friendly and upbeat, and the mimosas were strong! I ordered the brunch burger with a rich Hollandaise sauce that made the whole dish! Another friend had the breakfast tacos which she loved! We even came back a second time later in the day to enjoy some drinks and appetizers! It was much more packed by afternoon, but we still managed to find a table on the patio. We got Molly's Famous Alligator Rangoons, Fried Pickle Chips, and Buffalo Chicken Dip with chips! Pricing is on par with other brunch places I'd say, and I thought the serving size was pretty big! I was hesitant to try brunch here since Molly's is more known for their patio/drinks, but I was happily surprised and would highly recommend checking it out for your next STL brunch spot!

Yelp
Molly's is such a gorgeous brunch place! The interior was charming and intimate with captivating art sprawled across the walls. The service was alright and nothing worth noting; they took our order, served our food, and gave us the bill. It did take a while to be seated as no one was at the front when we arrived. As for food, my boyfriend and I ordered The Hangover and the French Toast Bake. The Hangover was a big highlight, absolutely no regrets. A warning for the French Toast Bake -- this dish was definitely made for those who have a sweet tooth! It may be overwhelming for some as my boyfriend found it to be too much, but I found the sweetness to be nicely balanced by the bourbon sauce. The prices were decent for the area, and an automatic gratuity charge was added. It was an overall good dining experience.

Yelp
First time here in years. Sunday brunch was ok. Not very many choices. Menu had more drink options than food options. We tried the Hangover Breakfast and thought it was ok. I had the Breakfast platter, also ok. Neither were something to come back for. Restaurant was chilly inside. Service just ok. They put an automatic 20% gratuity on every ticket. Meh .

Yelp
Went to Molly's in Soulard on a Saturday afternoon around 12:30. It was very busy and luckily we were able to grab the only open table that was not reserved. We started our meal with the Alligator Rangoon. We are huge crab Rangoon fans so we absolutely had to give these a try. Overall, they were tasty and the filling has a nice Cajun spice inside but I probably wouldn't order them again. For our meals I had the Hangover Plate and my girlfriend had Molly's Brunch Burger. The hangover plate was delicious and the portions were HUGE. I was only able to eat half and had to box up the rest to-go. My girlfriend also enjoyed her burger and tots. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Molly's and would definitely return for food and drinks in the future.

Yelp
We went on a Saturday, late afternoon before a concert and sat outside which was lovely! Not too hot and the atmosphere is great, especially before a big concert downtown. Brooke was our server and she was attentive and very nice! Drinks were ok, my white sangria reminded me more of a mimosa, but delicious enough I had two! My husbands mule was very "limey" but he also has two ;) Food was just ok, but we decided we would be back for something more Cajun before we write off Molly's for food (we've been later at night for drinks and that was fun!). Kids had salads which they said were fine. Hot wings were jus t basic bar food. Grilled cheese was really good (I added bacon and tomato), but the loaded tots could have been crispier, pretty soggy for tots. Again, we will be back to try more food but the atmosphere outside and service were excellent!

Yelp
A "better late than never" review. I'm still dreaming about the experience, in the best way. I got a rather large group together to have an Xmas holiday brunch, and I opted to reserve a spot at Molly's based on a rec from a friend. I was a bit nervous since I usually host special occasion brunches at my home, and wanted the experience to be similar - comfy, tasty, great service and not rushed. Molly's came through, with bells and tinsel and garland and a giant Santa. We were seated close to the main entrance, which was fine because after scoping out the place it was easy to see that any spot is a great spot. Our server was prompt and engaging, recommending and congratulating our beverage selections. A great start to any brunch experience is a libation you can sit with and sip happily whilst making conversation. Success! Let's talk menu. My only complaint is there were too many amazing choices. We all wanted pretty much one of everything. I count this as a good problem to have at any restaurant. The food came out in a reasonable time and mountain man, did reach out! They were traditional breakfasts, French-focused fare, cozy delectables such as biscuits and gravy and French toast, and specialty items you would only see in that part of town. I swear, we all looked at each others plates, and were definitely coveting their orders! A second round of drinks was ordered, which came out at just the right moment. We slurpped and sipped and chewed and chatted for well over two hours, and not once did we feel rushed to push off, which only added to the experience. Overall, a big win for a holiday get together, and I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
The food and the service are very consistent. Always a nice brunch idea especially when the weather is nice out.

Yelp
The food is great, however, the wine was horrible. It was like it was soured. When brought to the attention of management, they refused to compensate us ( no refund or exchange for something else)! This was very disappointing as we had been here before and it was a great experience. Because of this horrible management and customer service, we will not be back and will tell all our friends and family not to go to this place! Sorry, Not Sorry!!!

Yelp
went to molly's for a st patty's day event. my only complaint is the bathrooms. super duper tiny. i'm a small girl and didn't have much room at all. however, a great place to hangout with friends and have some drinks! i got french fries there and they were SUPER CHEAP, good, and a great portion size!

Yelp
Courtney was so nice and warming to outsiders then dukes down the street!! Has a amazing personality!!!

Yelp
My friends and I are frequent enjoyers of Molly's it was pretty high up on my list until tonight. A person in my group ended up getting sick, getting it out in a nearby trash can, when a bouncer/security guard (whichever his title is) approaches us and tell us if he's throwing up in a trash can instead of the toilet, we need to leave. Giving him no pushback, we start to get our stuff together. As we're trying to move out of our booth, he tells us again that we need to head out, which we explain again that we are actively getting a move on. We start to head out and stop at the bar so our other friends could close their tabs, where he then again tells us we need to leave. We explain that we are, some friends are just closing their tabs. Finally, we are at the door, waiting for the rest of the line to get in so we don't bump into people on our way out, and he approaches us once more telling us that he "can't have us puking in every trash can" (which he...did not) and that he's told us multiple times we need to get out. And we were literally almost out when he told us this. He was extremely rude for no reason, we didn't talk back or give him any hard time, and we're actively moving out of the vicinity. I've never experienced this at Molly's and I'm really disappointed in the staff. Hopefully you guys can do better in the future.

Yelp
I happened upon this spot after trying a couple places that happened to be closed. The service was great. I liked that there were unique menu items like the alligator rangoons which i tried and were tasty. I also got the BLT smashburger which was pretty good. I could really taste the BLT sauce, but it was still a good burger. I also had a frozen watermelon margarita which was yummy. All in all i enjoyed it and I'm glad i wandered in.

Yelp
Bartender upstairs was very rude . Waited 15 mins. For a FREE SHOT, that everyone else has gotten due to the promo. She's very rude and very unprofessional. Don't recommend. Also went downstairs to another bar and the bartender misheard me after I told her 4 times what drink I wanted. She began to tell me "well this what you said" and I told Her it's wasn't and she said "DONT ORDER FROM ME ANYMORE" I don't recommend this place

Yelp
We really enjoyed ourselves on Sunday during Mardi Gras festivities here. The bar was decorate in true Mardi Gras fashion. Catered food and drinks constantly pouring from sun up to sundown! The dj keep the crowd heads bobbing and our feet moving. It was nice to have a resting spot in between walking through the crowds in cold.

Yelp
The best things about Molly's are: ambiance, great mixed drinks, and absurdly friendly waitstaff. The patio at Molly's is incredible -- one that I will never forget. When you're walking in, it feels like a gigantic oasis/tree house. The tree coverage will keep you shaded and cool. There are ample seating -- at least when we came. I had the paper airplane, which was tart, light, and refreshing. I would say this was one of the best mixed drinks I've had in town and will have to return to try their other concoctions.

Yelp
Went for Christmas Cheer, left with a lump of coal instead! Booked a reservation to surprise my wife, who LOVES Christmas. Googled the best "Holiday Pop-Up Bars" in St Louis, and LIT (Molly's) was atop the list. Made our reservation, told the wife, and anxiously awaited our fun night out. We arrived about 20 minutes before our reservation, thinking we'd sit at the bar and have a drink. The hostess offered for us to sit at the outside bar, and then commented that they were "serving to full menu there as well". Seemed odd, so I told her that we'd prefer to sit in the Holiday themed portion of the restaurant. Her reply was shocking...."It's closed for a private party tonight". I asked how that could be, since I had a reservation? She simply replied that my "reservation was for Molly's, not LIT". I explained to her that that couldn't be, as I'd made it from the LIT website. To be honest, the whole thing was misleading at best. If you've been to Molly's, you'll completely understand. No one in their right minds is making a reservation to eat marginal (at best) food in a dive bar! The holiday decorations are the only redeeming aspect of the place....which likely explains why they mislead people into showing up. Needless to say, Molly's/LIT is on the naughty list. NEVER AGAIN! There are many better options, like Miracle, or Sippin Santa.
