Favorite place to get breakfast! Service is great and so is the food. My eggs are cooked to perfection every time! The big breakfast is awesome, especially if you like pancakes, which I do! 😋 Love it here so much I bought a shirt 😍🤩

Google
The mini Loco Moco and Molokai Cheeseburger did not disappoint. The food was excellent. The service is extremely slow, took 40 minutes in the drive through to get my order but please do take into consideration that they do have signs all over regarding the long wait times and service, which is respectable. Go at your own discretion as long as you have the patience. It is very dependent upon the day and time of day as well so the wait times can vary and be a hit or miss. Regardless, I was glad I waited and I was not disappointed.

We just needed a quick bite to eat and we’re struggling on where to go. We have to see the pizza place we pulled in. We were able to sit immediately. The waitress came by took our drink orders and we discovered they had pizza by the slice and it was ready. Just what we needed. We each got a slice of pizza we’re able to eat that. enjoy our little respite and move on the way. Everybody was kind and friendly. The place was clean. It was really nice to eat in a local establishment. Thank you so much for a pleasant experience.

Google
Best Burger in Town! This funguy burger 🍔 was amazing 🤩 good and to top it off with there secret sauce. Great combo with waffle 🧇 fries 🍟 and to top it off with the S&S saimin. Will be back. Staff and crew was great. Clean environment.

Google
Decent spot to grab lunch if you’re on Molokai. The burgers are good, the fries are decent, and the service is friendly. The atmosphere is kind of like an old school diner, with some nice decorations including a detailed map of the island. I prefer the burgers and selection at Maka’s Korner better, and they’re also a bit cheaper, but Molokai burger is worth checking out as well, especially with the limited dining options on the island.

Google
Molokai Burger makes a great burger. They also have some of the best French Fries around. The employees are friendly and go out of their way to make sure your meal is up to expectations. Good food and a good vibe.

Google
I ate here for breakfast and dinner. I had the big breakfast and it was very good. My hamburger and fries for dinner was hot and fresh. I would recommend this restaurant. Staff was very friendly. It was clean and decorated nicely. They also have a drive thru!

Google
Paniolo burger and spicy fries: the burger was nice enough, if very well done. The onion ring was good, and the bbq sauce was nice. The spicy fries were great—fresh, piping hot and a good amount, not a ton of them but enough. The food was ready in less than 10 minutes, but cooked fresh, and they were making several at the same time. They have maybe 4-5 milkshake flavors. The drink options could be a little more varied than just milkshakes and Coke drinks—some local and non-corn syrup options would be nice, some unsweetened tea or lemonade or something. There’s tons of parking. There’s also a good amount of seating. It’s clean and bright inside, sort of feeling like an In’n’Out, especially given the color scheme. There are a couple of tables outside. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Solid burgers! Good selections available on the menu. Bacon cheeseburger is a winnah! Chicken bacon ranch too! Fries, traditional, waffled and added tots to choices of potatoes. Onion rings too! Drive through available.

Yelp
They have quite the menu for a burger place. That said, we got burgers Garden burger and tots for me, onion rings and some meaty burger for him. We enjoyed both. The burgers have house sauce on them, which they also have to us for our tots and rings. It was good, but I think I prefer regular ketchup and mustard. Service was great - we were there at lunch time and they were busy, but the wait to order or get our food wasn't long.

Yelp
Molokai Burger is a great spot for a satisfying meal when you're on the island. The burgers are delicious--juicy, well-seasoned, and served with fresh toppings that really elevate the flavors. The menu also has a nice variety, so there's something for everyone, whether you're in the mood for a classic cheeseburger or something more unique. The service is super friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. The restaurant is clean, and the casual atmosphere makes it a great place to grab a bite with family or friends. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the wait time during busy hours can be a bit long, but the food is worth it. If you're on Molokai and craving a good burger, this is definitely the spot to check out!

Yelp
Molokai Burger was a really nice experience. Bright, clean, really good food! For this visit, a "negative" thing was their fryer was out of order and those menu options, including fries, were unavailable. But, things happen and it is understandable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Oh, no refills on your beverages.

Yelp
Molokai burger is interesting. Inside, it kind of looks like In-N-Out. The color scheme is similar. What you will find inside is a place that makes a nice smash burger for a ok price. I thought the burger is ok, nothing amazing, but a decent burger and fries. The Molokai burger is $8.65, fries for $4. So not cheap. What I did like was their cool t-shirts! I picked one up for my wife. If you go there, check out the t-shirt that they sell. It says Molokai 0 Marker. Another thing I liked was that they seem to stay open late (for Molokai) so it's an option when other places are closed. Good parking, also has a drive thru (the only one?????). The have a lot of items on the menu for you to try.

Yelp
Simple, but good. Breakfast was good, served on paper plates. The highlight is the burger at lunch! It's a must get! Smash-burgers, grilled onions!!! It's messy, so get napkins.

Yelp
3/2024 Molokai burger Update: Korean Chicken Plate Behold the single most popular order in Kaunakakai, a mound of crusted golden fried chicken breast and thigh slivers and a thin sweet-sesame soy dipping sauce on shaved cabbage. Served with choices of steamed white rice, Mac salad or garden salad. The tasty thin sliced chicken was very crispy, sprinkled with sesame seeds and green onion, fried almost to the point of being dry. Kind of like popcorn fried chicken. Dipped into the thin sauce it was an interesting rendition of the usually meaty fried chicken parts, tossed and coated with a thicker sweet sesame soy glaze. After speaking to local restaurant consultants, I now fully understand that it's mostly fried chicken skin that I'm enjoying. So, a few years of life have been willingly taken away from me because it's fricking addictive, like Crack I guess. The sides of salad and Mac salad were edible. The salad had an assortment of chopped romaine, tomato pieces, and onion shards sitting in a puddle of rinse water. Adding the clumpy sesame dressing only diluted it further. The Macaroni salad was bathed in mayo and needed a cook with a seeing eye dog to season it with salt before completing the task, hence the "Now Hiring" banner out front. Overall it was a great textural meal since I dream of fried chicken, rarely making or ordering it since I'm now older than I look.

Yelp
hey, burgers were good! Pass on the salad. Front counter - be better and hey, don't be so pipili with ketchup!

Yelp
When on Molokai, gotta support the restaurants/shops, so for a late lunch, went to get burgers. Inside air is on 75 degrees so we were sweating a little...plus shake or ice cream machine broken. Hubs was disappointed. Molokai Cheeseburger is okay. Fairly thin, and needs to be salted. I think that's what the sauce is for, but I like my burgers plain so I can taste the meat. Shared burger with the baby...she liked it and she ate my whole tomato. Tots were nice and crunchy...perf. Everyone seemed to be satisfied with their burgers. Nothing to write home about, but I'd go back...

Yelp
The McDonald's of Molokai. The burger wasn't anything too special, but it's a good place to go to get your fast food fix. Ice cream was light and refreshing. Staff were nice and worked quick; ample seating indoors and outdoors or you can go through the drive through.

Yelp
Da Buggah was ono!!! There's not a lot of places to eat on Molokai (as compared to if you lived on Oahu), but the very few eateries that they do have on the little island of Molokai, I must say it's quite good! One eatery I wanna give props to is called - Molokai Burger! Located in Kaunakakai town, just off of the main road, you can find this great eatery in a green colored house looking structure. As I entered the establishment & looked around, I must say that this eatery kinda reminded me of a Teddy's Bigger Burger that we have on Oahu, & Maui. Why do I say that? Well, for one thing the food here is made fresh when you order it, it's not like those fast food chains where some of their food is pre-made & sitting under a heat lamp. Upon looking over the menu, besides burgers, Molokai Burger also sells - sandwiches, salads, plate lunches, & desserts. If you come here early in the morning, Molokai Burger also serves breakfast here. Unfortunately I can't tell you if the hamburgers are good here, because I stopped eating red meat over 7 years ago, but what I can tell you is that they certainly make a mean Teri Chicken Sandwich! Yummo!! And when your're eating a delicious sandwich like this, ya gotta get some kinda fries so I ended up getting the Waffle Fries (because you hardly see this on fast food menus). What can I say about the grub? Simply deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelicious! The teriyaki sauce that they used on the chicken filet was what made this sandwich so mouthwatering good! As for the waffle fries, I only got this after seeing someone on Yelp post a pick of the waffle fries that was big as someone's hand! Lol! Service here was on point, and should I crave another chicken sandwich, I'm a definitely gonna come back to Molokai Burger!

Yelp
Food was okay Service not bad , but not great either Ambiance Just ate at the parking lot in my rental car: dining just closed due to lack of staffing I thought it was too pricy for a tiny Teri burger. But the onion rings were okay.

Yelp
After a great week, we chose Molokai Burger for our last dinner on Molokai. We each had a different burger with a side of waffle fries. The food fine, but was nothing special, burgers fried on the grill until well done. The service was 'drive through only' as the doors were locked with a sign stating the dining room was closed due to 'shortness of staff', thus the ambiance was weak, but that did not matter. We brought the food back to our hotel, cracked open a bottle of wine and had a party, so the ambiance improved (a lot). In summary, nothing gourmet expected or delivered, but everything was fine!

Yelp
Yum! We were impressed by Molokai burger! Korean fried chicken, Mac salad and rice, within minutes of ordering. Fabulous sauce with the chicken. We had a bad experience next door at Paddlers so I was super happy to get service and food so quickly. Everyone was super friendly and kind. Even the cook made eye contact and waved while on his break. Clean lobby, good food. Must try in Molokai!

Yelp
This place is a lot like the pizza place in town: a solid take on an American(ish) classic. But it shares the pizza place's flaw: no beer! The burgers here are solid. They are about halfway between a "fast food style" burger and a "sit down restaurant style" burger. They are also priced in-between those, as well. The stars of the show here though, is not the burgers. It's the chicken. Just get the fried chicken, it's excellent. It's better than most fried chicken on the mainland!
google avatar

James F.

Yelp
Great burgers and spicey waffle fries with special fry sauce. Thick milkshakes for dipping those waffle fries in also! We recently moved to Molokai and find Molokai burger always delivers on taste and value!
google avatar

Norma L.

Yelp
After lazing around the condo and enjoy the view finally ventured into town to look for a belt and some souvenirs. Was a little hungry but not wanting too much. This looks fairly new and like a joint you'd find on the mainland. The menu was not overwhelming. I settled on a basic cheeseburger and it was simple but good. I'm not a lettuce fan but this came with shredded lettuce which I actually liked. It has some sauce like in n out.
google avatar

Jasmine H.

Yelp
Fast service, delicious burgers and onions rings, and clean! The workers are very friendly too! We had the Loco Moco, Teri burger, and molokai double cheeseburger and they were some of the best burgers I've ever had. The onion rings weee fried perfectly and are so huge! My husband can't stop raving about the burgers.
google avatar

Kimo K.

Yelp
Six pieces of chicken $14, that's a good deal, you can't buy the chicken and cook it and fry it for that. The service is great they even come out while you're standing in line in the drive-through line to take your order
google avatar

Casey C.

Yelp
These hit the spot after a day of beach hopping. We went twice in 3 days! The waffle fries are perfectly cooked and seasoned..they're so light and crispy, I could've had two orders. The green building is a perfect little spot in town.

Yelp
This place is great. Food was perfect and staff was super friendly. The island has limited options so make time for this one.

Yelp
Now that was one good mushroom Swiss burger! I originally wanted a burger-sandwich I saw as part of Google's profile and reviews, but the menu in the store was a bit different. No worries, since the burger I ended up with was awesome. I saw a new container of ground beef portions come out of the fridge. They had been weighed and rolled into balls, so Molokai Burger is in the "smash-and-wait" category. The cook smashed the ball into a patty and then left it until it was time to turn. The result was a juicy sloppy really well-seasoned patty on a soft bun. There are no combos here, so you pay extra for any add-ons. The onion rings had a panko coating, I believe. The coating was not heavy and was fried to a good crunch. They were fried just right, so they weren't mushy or burnt. I ate every crumb and drank every drop of soda. The burger wasn't huge, there weren't a ton of rings, but I was stuffed to the gills. Thank goodness there were no hills to deal with; if I fell, I'd keep rolling for who knows how long. I wasn't hungry again for nearly six hours. (Which was good, since it helped me to avoid Kanemitsu Bakery.) There's a drive-through, and limited parking on two sides of the building. Most seating is inside, but there is some outside. Don't be surprised if some chickees come by wanting to mooch off of you. I saw a rooster, three hens, and at least a half-dozen chicks. There's a garden burger on the menu, along with a few plate lunches which can help you reduce carbs. There's also a keiki (children's) menu. The restrooms are off the main dining room, hidden behind some lattice and (real) hanging plants. The ladies room had one accessible stall but it might be a little tough getting into the room in a wheelchair; a scooter might not fit. There was a TV up in one corner of the main dining room but it wasn't on while I was there. Maybe they have it on during UH games or matches, NFL games - not sure. Tuesdays are two-for-one burger days. Too bad I didn't have anyone with me!

Yelp
Friendly staff, good choices and a bargain breakfast if you are looking for something before 7am. Egg sandwich (cheese on an English muffin) was only $4

Joe C.

Yelp
Food was excellent. Place was very clean. Comfortable atmosphere. Staff was very attentive and courteous.

Yelp
I ordered your standard cheeseburger, lettuce, pickles, ketchup, mustard, Mayo with a side of fries. We went through the drive through and although it was long, it went through quickly. There was a girl outside to take our orders before we got to the window to speed things up. By the time we got to the window our food was ready and everything was correct! We are at a nearby picnic table and these fries were so so good! I'm not a huge fan of waffle fries because they're usually pretty soft and I like my fries crispy. However these fries are mega crispy on the outside and soft in the center. I don't know what temperature their oil is at but it's the right one! They're not burnt at all and the oil was fresh and these were the perfect waffle fries.

Yelp
Air conditioning, air conditioning, a huge commodity on this humid Island. This restaurant is very clean and quiet. Easy parking in the lot on the side or try the drive thru, but why when you can eat with cool air. The staff ok, food ok.
google avatar

Lynni S.

Yelp
Prices were reasonable and service was quick. The inside of the restaurant is pretty clean. I ordered a teri burger and a coke. The Teri burger hit the spot... so ONO. Reminds me of small kid time Kenny's drive in on Oahu. Hand formed beef patties and perfectly flavored sauce.

Zena W.

Yelp
We will always eat their Korean chicken, it's yum. When you call ahead they are on time with orders. Sometimes we eat in and it's spacious and comfortable.
google avatar

Susan K.

Yelp
Everything was closed so decided on this for an early dinner- glad we did! Great quick friendly service! They ran out of waffle fries but the tater tots and fries were also excellent! Decor reminds us of in-and-out burger.
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
Delicious any day of the week, but on tuesdays it's two for one cheeseburgers! We love their burgers. They blow the big M out of the water, and their fries are awesome too! And their secret sauce is great on both. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Nancy J.

Yelp
Burgers , breakfast, and more. We grabbed dinner before heading to the beach to watch the sunset. We ordered the Paniola burger and teriyaki chicken salad. Pianola burger had a onion and bbq sauce on the burger. It was very good. The teriyaki chicken salad was very simple but delicious. Teriyaki chicken sliced and on a bed of lettuce and cherry tomatoes of course with a dressing of choice-cilantro vinegar dressing. As mentioned in a few of the posts there was a girl outside taking orders, it did make the long line go faster. But local girl was very friendly and helpful. Wonderful customer service!
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome burgers and fries. Everything simple and perfectly don at a reasonable price.
google avatar

Isha B.

Yelp
Great place for vegetarians. The veggie burger or the garden burger is delicious. It's binding ingredient is egg whites. If you are okay eating eggs as a vegetarian it's definitely a burger you can have during your time in Molokai. The staff is super friendly and patient.
google avatar

Scoob W.

Yelp
Basic but decent burger joint. Only drive thru right now due to covid. Next to Molokai Pizza.

Yelp
The best great service from local people and the best burger I've been eat in Hawaii. When I was visiting family I went more than 4 times the sad part is that I have to come come back to main land otherwise I could come back more times. My favorite is the double burger. Thanks for all the workers starting from the person who take orders, great job !!!. I will recommend this place over and over 100% . See ya next time Molokai'i
google avatar

Ariana K.

Yelp
I been to Molokai a few times now and this is probably one of my favorite go to places. One because of its convenient location and two because it is one of the few places open at 7am. Plus the staff is always friendly and the food comes out timely. [[ MoSausage $4.25 ]] https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/molokai-burger-kaunakakai?select=Ap8_Xuroo7g7ehfaK5thRg Tried the MoSausage breakfast sandwich. Definitely liked this one more than Mcdonalds! :D
google avatar

Susan H.

Yelp
I wish I could give you a five star rating because this is probably the best place to eat on this little island. If you search all of the Hawaiian islands this is the closest to an In and Out Burger, so damn close!! I get the veggie burger and it's yum! Great texture. Hubby gets the meat burger and he loves it. The fries are perfectly crispy and they have a yummy dip for fries. I heard the salads were good but I have not tried.
google avatar

Jay H.

Yelp
Nice service with air conditioning and outdoor seating. Looks like In n Out on the inside but burgers taste like Five Guys. Overall, good experience, give it a try.

Jesse B.

Yelp
Korean chicken was amazing....crispy outside but juicy and tender inside. Mac salad was delicious. Teri burger was juicy, perfectly cooked and patty was made to order...not frozen patty. Highly recommend Molokai Burger. Great food and very reasonably priced.
google avatar

Bridgett P.

Yelp
This is a super convenient place to grab lunch or dinner on Molokai. I had the Molokai cheeseburger and it was delish! Simple and satisfying. Burger, cheese, lettuce and tomato. Quality bun as well. I like that you order and get to watch them prepare your burger. Kind of like Subway for the burger world. The staff was very efficient in getting orders processed and presented. Lots of parking outside and the inside is very clean and bright. Lots of seating available and we didn't wait long for our food. Also: waffle fries. YUM! I haven't had them in so long! This is a definite stop when you're on Molokai. They have many other food options as well so don't think it's just beef. See you again Molokai burger!

Brian P.

Yelp
Very much enjoyed breakfast. Perfectly cooked 2 eggs over medium. Delicious 2 meats of Portuguese sausage and fried spam then 2 scoops white rice and 2 very large pancakes all for 12.95. Terrific service. Can I say more? Nope
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
During my visit to Molokai, I actually ate here twice. I had burgers both times. The first time was the Molokai Cheeseburger and second visit was Molokai mushroom burger. I liked both of them. I even chowed down on the husband's fries and liked them, which is weird for me as I'm not a big fry fan. They give you a dipping sauce which I suspect is ketchup and mayo mixed together, but what do I know? The large drinks are HUGE... 44 ounces! I also really like that they carry both Pepsi products and Coke products. KUDOS for that! The staff was pretty friendly - not overly so, but appropriately so. The location is quite clean, including the bathrooms. We got a kick out of the fact that the decor was so In-N-Out-esque! They have free wi-fi and a drive through. Definitely a good addition to the limited dining options on Molokai. I recommend!
google avatar

Victoria C.

Yelp
Friendly staff and quick service. Ordered rice, Portuguese sausage, bacon, 2 eggs and French fries and a coffee for $14 total. Food was good and packaged well! They were very patient even tho the line was long.
google avatar

Mike B.

Yelp
Clean facility and decent burgers. Not like big island beef burger but still fine! Reminded me of a inn and out burger place
google avatar

Alice N.

Yelp
Hungry in the morning then you go!!! Recommend I ate big breakfast and with that price including 2 stocks of pancake then yeah, I think it's ok!! Price Not bad ! Good to share Place Big enough Staffs Okay but I like it
google avatar

Amy R.

Yelp
We went through the drive thru. A woman comes to your car window to take your order. She was very friendly and helpful. Ordered a chicken sandwich and tater tots. It was good. The chicken was mostly dark meat. I found that unusual. Tater tots were super crispy and tasty. The dipping sauce given is really good. It's mayo and tomato sauce mixed together. Prices have definitely increased since last time I visited 2 years ago. Keep in mind that drive thru here does not mean fast food. You're on Molokai time. Start to finish took 20 minutes.
google avatar

Ryan R.

Yelp
Remember you are on Molokai. With that said, this was a pretty good burger. Price was as expected "Molokai price" Menu, simple. Offered something for everyone. Drive thru nice option, but don't expect it to be quick, hopefully time in drive thru meant they cook to order. Definitely recommend for a quick bite.
google avatar

Shipra B.

Yelp
Not too bad for an island that doesn't have many places, especially fast food restaurants. Burgers are ok. Good enough for quick takeout.
