This place is such a hidden gem. The lady at our hotel nearby (Villa Duse) told us it was great and we took her recommendation even though others had better reviews. I have no idea why everyone doesn’t love this place. Elegant. Amazing and creative high end Italian cuisine for a more reasonable price at other places in Rome. The atmosphere was quiet and romantic. Locals clearly love the place but it has the feel of an upscale neighborhood place for sophisticated. They have a retractable roof outside for rain or sun. Lighting inside and out is subtle and soft. Service was amazing. Very attentive and yet not hovering. We stayed after we ate to chat and enjoy the ambiance (real candles and glowing lights) and no one on the serving staff hovered making us feel uncomfortable. They were happy to let us enjoy the atmosphere and dessert cookies and biscotti (clearly made fresh and so tasty and crumbly). The wine selection was perfect. Really can’t say enough about it. I wish it was MY neighborhood restaurant!

It is a upscale Italian restaurant it was a pleasure to watch the beautifully dressed people. Service was good (not great) and the food too. The shrimp starter is really good and so are the warm bread and butter they bring as a starter.

Intimate experience at Molto We opted for the first seating, which by definition, offered us a more tailored and individual experience. Not only the choice of table (which we positioned ourselves right in front of the Rotisserie), but a unique interaction with our servers. Choosing for cocktails and wine by the glass allowed us to better pair our options. A shared Raw Chianina beef with asparagine and mustard eggnog appetizer impressively set the stage, for a Traditional Water-and-Flour carbonara, which was light and delicate. The sucking pig was well received, but after the tartare, felt somewhat let down…perhaps spoiled by La Bistecca a day before? Closing off with Ricotta Cannolo (decadent- candied orange with pistachio ice cream?) put the finishing touches on a wonderful meal. Circling back to my first point- attentive service (thanks to our second server who provided a stool for my wife’s handbag…small touches go very far) and personalized attention will have us returning next time we are in the Parioli area. Molte grazie, Molto

A little out of central Rome but not too expensive taxi wise. The staff are outstanding. Friendly, happy and attentive. They specialise in rotisserie but that’s not to say their pastas are subpar. We started with rigatoni amatriciana, truly delicious, crispy bacon on top is fabulous. We then shared the rotisserie meat selection. Duck, pork and chicken. All cooked to perfection. Our side was carpaccio of zucchini (courgette) with parmigiana and basil. Simple but perfect. Our just wonderful server then gave us Zabaglione…. Light, fluffy and just all around yum. We can not fault this restaurant. The food, the service and the atmosphere. Grazie mille.

Traditional upper class neighborhood Roman restaurant, not many tourists and mainly local well dressed clients. Very good heavy food in generous portions. Service a bit uptight for my taste. With tablecloths.

Fresh antipasto, delicious chicken, fine wine and lo-fi beats. If you're tired of pasta and pizza, give this place a shot. Edit: second time I went, for dinner.. they got my order wrong and had me wait 30 minutes on an empty table for the bill. Splitting the difference, 3.5 stars.

A good friend of mine suggested this restaurant. We ordered 3 different courses to share and all were amazing. The staff attitude is real Italian as well so you definitely feel that you’re in Rome. Highly recommended.

Yelp
We had the best brunch with real homemade Italien food. Everything from roasted pig to an overflow of desserts. If you are in Rome, this is a do not miss restaurant!! It's a bit pricy but we'll worth it. We came back for lunch the next day and it was just as good as brunch.

Yelp
Poor and Slow Service, Salty Food! Of all the restaurants that we've been to in Rome, Molto was the worst. Although, the restaurant looks lovely you know what they say - don't judge a book by its covers. The waiters were hardly visible after taking our order. On the top of it, what annoyed us most was, despite watching us sitting there from a long time, the manager did nothing to help get served and all he did was hang out with the young ladies there. We had our waters also empty, despite checking 4 times but no server came for us. The service was too slow and at some point, I almost considered walking out, but the order arrived in a nick of time. I usually have issues with salty food and what made it even worse apart from waiting for the food for a whole century is getting too much salt in a plate of fish. I don't know why #Hotel de Russie recommended this lousy restaurant to us, and they really need to do something to better their recommendations. They should counter check the list of hotels it recommends visitors and strike this out completely.

Yelp
What a truly exceptional meal we had tonight!! I started with the octopus and potatoes appetizer. The octopus is lightly seasoned, but very flavorful and cooked to perfection. Other members of my party got the tomato salad which looked like it had the freshest variety available. Additionally, for all courses, the presentation and plating was first rate. I enjoyed the suckling pig entrée. It was seasoned perfectly and so juicy, while maintaining a perfectly crisp skin. Other members of my party got the veal saltimbocca, 36 hour cooked Lamb, and a rigatoni dish in tomato sauce with bacon that came out stacked like a fortress wall. It was a truly exceptional experience, and one of the best meals I have had in Italy so far. I would recommend the meal to anyone, and will certainly be coming back if I am ever in town

Yelp
Alte aspettative, risultati mediocri. Servizio "romano": atteggiamento gratuitamente extra-lusso e cadute di stile finali. Rapporto prezzo-qualità insoddisfacente. Bel locale, anche se troppo grande.
