I spent two nights here on my bike ride around SE Asia. I arrived from Siem Reap and ate at the family restaurant out front of the guesthouse. I had the beef Lok Lak which was very good. They have a coffee/tea and juice stand with the restaurant along with a store with snacks and other items. The teas were good and the selection in the store was good. Some of the family speak some English. It is very convenient to visit the Khmer ancient capital at Koh Ker with the park entrance only a couple hundred meters from the rooms. It is also well placed on the ride to Stung Treng for cyclists. My room was large and spacious with two beds on the first floor. There was no mirror in the room, the shower had decent flow but leaked so the floor in the bathroom stayed wet. AC worked. WiFi worked with limited signal in my room but went out before bed on the second night and never worked again while I was there.

Great location if you’re willing to visit the temples around. The owner is pretty nice and give some tips about things to do around here. The room is great for their asking price, which differs if you choose air-con, or fan room. Overall good experience.

It could be nice but 12 dollars for a room with no electricity and therefor no fans is expensive, the room is full of mosquitoes and there's no net. The place also seems to be the only place in town for kids and teenagers to hangout by the lake that they have built, very noisy with motorbikes coming and going all the time. Not at all impressed.

Great local middle of nowhere, but they will arrange breakfast and meal at restaurant near by. This place is on the way up and should get better d better with the improvements being built at present. It is what it is for middle of nowhere but you will be good for air con,and WiFi.

We rolled up late and the owner made us an excellent dinner. The beds are firm and perfect! $12 for a basic room in May 2016.

The best guesthouse at that area... Family run the business by their own and all guests who check in there always treat as the family... I love this place.
