The food was delicious and the location quite central, making it a pleasant spot to stop for a meal. We sat outside, which was comfortable thanks to the outdoor fans providing a nice breeze. Service was generally okay—nothing exceptional but efficient enough.
What left a sour note, however, was the experience at the end. When the bill arrived, the waiter directly asked for a tip. We politely declined, as the service was basic—he simply took our order and cleared the plates. His demeanor noticeably changed after that, and he didn’t even say goodbye once the bill was paid.
Tipping, in our view, should be a gesture of appreciation, not an expectation or obligation. When it feels forced, it takes away from the overall experience. That said, we still enjoyed the food and the setting.
