Great family-run hotel in an underrated part of town. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, helpful, and personable. We loved chatting with the owners about the history of the place and the area. ||The hotel is conveniently located on the Rue d'Orsel in Montmartre near an up-and-coming section of the 9th. Consequently it's surrounded by great bars, cafes, and restaurants. Furthermore, metro stops for the 2,4, and 12 are very close which made getting around Paris a snap. That said, the Rue d'Orsel is surprisingly quiet at night, and falling asleep during our jet-lagged nights was all the easier.||Since the hotel is independent and on the smaller side, I highly recommend making reservations directly instead of using a third-party. You'll avoid the over-booking issues plaguing travel sites these days, and you'll almost certainly get a better rate.||All in all, this is a great spot. It'll definitely be at the top of my list whenever I'm traveling to Paris!
