The reception was amazing amazing and ready to assist. The hotel has private prayer rooms so that you dont have an excuse why you did not pray. Environment was aethetic. The food was delicious and healthy. Customer service a top notch. Recommend the place.||Seraj

Welcome to "age" as showcased by the vintage rooms, floors and fire extinguisher.... Polite and sluggish staff but kudos to pastry chef (nice tarts). Perfect Location and mature nature (trees). Has a non starter vibe and caged to their cocoons.

Ground staff tried to charge us 1,000 kes just to access a public beach that is free to access. They were incredibly rude when we tried to ask how to access the beach as we had been dropped off in the wrong place. When I questioned why we needed to pay for accessing the beach (as east Africa residents) they couldn’t answer. Will not be recommending this spot - total scam.

Stayed here back in 1994. Best place i ever went while in the Air Force. Stayed at the MBH for 180 days right after the Blackhawk incident in Mogadishu, Somalia, in support of the C-130 Spectres patrolling Somalia. Lots of great food options then from Chinese to pizza. All were good. There was even a Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Mombasa we frequented. Hotel service was great too.

The bathrooms are not up to any standards for a hotel. I have included pictures. The hotel is in a great location but the outdated amenities are a big let down. Don't stay here 😒

The worst experience of all my hotel stays. Staff are very unprofessional, ridiculously unprofessional. The room is so dilapidated, no alternative source of power, food is so bad. This hotel is nothing to write home about. Avoid by all means.

The true experience of the East African Coast. Located in the shore of Indian Ocean. Rooms facing the sea ⛵ and cool breeze of the ocean currents. Dining experience is topnotch with chefs that are experienced in the Kenyan culinary arts as well as international cuisines. Conference facilities that can accommodate over 600 pax. A state owned hotel which is as old as 1970 but with its outstanding elegance. Book a reservation and you will never get enough of its services. This is my 4th time to the Kenyan coast and don't want any other place for beach holiday. Voila.
