"Toronto's Momofuku Outpost The Toronto outpost of New York's noodle bar, Momofuku, is a bustling, friendly place serving many of David Chang's signature dishes. Weighing down our table were chicken-fried rice, okonomiyaki, roasted cauliflower, roasted rice cakes, and a cold prawn noodle dish. Not shown: pork buns! By AFAR Traveler , AFAR Contributor"

The food was good but a little underwhelming from what I've heard about the resturant. But it was still very good. I didn't like the rice cakes because they had a sour flavor, but other people in my group did. The noodles were good but not as good as I expected. The pork noodles were better then the chicken ones also!! Though the pork buns were really good and I would definitely recommend it. The servers were great and the atmosphere was nice.

What a food! What a vibe! What a service! And my best joy was to seat upstairs and watch the kitchen. The buns are two bite size but the balance of the tastes and the softness of a bun itself worth it! The pork soup is thick and rich in flavors, the spicy chicken noodles are not so spicy so give it a try. The only one I was maybe skipping is the chocolate ice-cream. Just nothing special about it.

Service was nice and friendly and the hostess made the effort to seat us even though we didn't have reservation. The ambiance and set up of the location is nice, so with that respect I give it 4-1/2 ⭐️ out of 5. As for the food, the quality was of noodles in the ramen was quite nice, good texture. Broth was a bit heavy, over powering in some respect. The steamed buns were fresh and soft, the pork belly was the only one that stood out for me. Portion wise could've been bigger for that price. And as nice as the soft serve ice cream was, it was served very sloppy, all melted messy. But the chocolate was rich and creamy while the yuzu soft serve was refreshing but again so sloppy and and presentation was disappointing, inconsistent in portion size. At $7 an ice cream, it shouldn't look like it's coming out of a run down McD ice cream machine.

We've been meaning to go for years and finally made it happen. What a great experience! The food was excellent. From the steam buns (omg - the Pork Belly Bun!) to the ramen to the mazemen and everything in between - absolutely delicious!! You also have to try the Red Dragon Rice Cakes from the Etc. menu - like a beautiful gnocchi with a crisp outside, and the bibim sauce - damn. Service was excellent - Peter was awesome and very helpful. I highly recommend reservations.

We had our event here and we are glad we were able to finally host it at the venue. The private room was just perfect for our group size. The service, bartenders, and servers were AMAZING! The food was really good and filling it was a great evening that we were able to host. Sad to see this restaurant close this week but we were lucky to experience it. Everyone just loved the evening! Thank you!

Lunch. One last time. I’ve been a regular of Momofuku over the years and when I read the news that they will be closing their doors permanently on December 23rd, I had visit this place one last time. In my opinion, this place offers the best Ramen and noodles in the city. The pork and shrimp buns are a great appetizer and a shared soft ice cream from Christina Tosi’s Milk Bar is a great way to finish off the meal. The place does not have the bustling vibe that it once had however, the quality of the food is great, the prices are reasonable, Post COVID conditions and the service was both friendly and efficient. I’m going to miss this place. Well worth a visit before they close.

Very good service our waiter was named Peter. Food came out quickly. The yuzu lemonade was tasty, kinda pine needle flavoured. I got the Szechuan pepper noodles, more Italian flavoured than Asian. But still good, reminded my of a carbonara. The price wasn’t too bad it is located in a touristy are. If you’re planning on going, come soon because they’re closing permanently in December.

Had a team dinner here. The seating is beer hall style at long shared tables. It's not a huge space and a bit cramped. We ordered a number of appetizers to share. The buns were all good and got gobbled up. The ramen was good but not spectacular. I've had better elsewhere but to be fair it was better than average. The fried chicken was also good but not mind blowing. So four stars for good but not great food, a fun atmosphere and decent prices.
