Momolato — Haji Lane

I recently stopped by this café and I was completely blown away by how delicious and creative their menu is! I’ve had plenty of waffles before, but nothing quite like what they serve here. Their savory waffle was a total game changer — perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and packed with flavor. I tried the chicken and cheese waffle and it was absolutely incredible! Every bite was well-balanced and satisfying without being too heavy. Of course, I couldn’t leave without trying their ice cream with waffle, and oh my goodness — it was dessert heaven! The waffle came out warm and golden brown, paired with creamy, rich ice cream that melted just right over the top. The presentation was beautiful, and you could tell everything was made fresh. The combination of textures and flavors was pure perfection — crunchy, creamy, sweet, and just the right touch of indulgence. The staff deserve a special mention too. Everyone was so friendly and attentive, happy to recommend their favorites and genuinely seemed to love what they do. The café itself has such a cozy and relaxing vibe — perfect for brunch, an afternoon treat, or even a casual date. Overall, I can’t recommend them enough! Whether you’re craving something savory or sweet (or both!), this place hits all the right notes. The quality, creativity, and warmth of the experience make it one of my new favorite spots. Enjoyed my peaceful time there having some ice-cream. Love the flavours of the ice-cream. I had pistachio (underneath that dark chocolate), dark chocolate and durian. They're really awesome! Love their pistachio cake as well as it was really rich in flavour but not too sweet. The cafe felt a little cramp though. I wish the cafe had better seating area. Nevertheless, I'll definitely be back for more ice-cream! 👍🏼👍🏼

A nice wide array of desserts, gelato and others! The staff were very friendly and warm to all their customers. They also have pizza and burgers, which I can't wait to try the next time I'm near Haji Lane.

Our favourite flavour HOJICHA — it was refreshing, sweet, and slight bitter — a very balanced flavour! Limited seats in the cafe, so we decided to sit outside, it was such a vibe. Monday night crowd was alright, not sure how is the crowd in a weekend though. As for the waffle, I just hope that it could be more crispy and hot. But other than that, Hokkaido Chocolate, Maple and Pancake, and Pistachio was all great!

I've actually been here before a couple of times but never reviewed it. Actually wanted to visit the other branch but ended up back here as an accident and decided to have desserts here. Place was quite small for the 3 of us had to wait for a while to get a table. Didn't wait long to get one while my friends were waiting I went to order the waffles. We had a waffles and two scoops of gelato. I remember this as one of the rare places where they don't put the gelato on the waffles so that the waffles don't get soggy. Loved how crispy and airy the waffles are and they do have some interesting flavours here as well. Simple but classic waffles and good gelato makes up a good dessert to end of a meal. Definitely recommend to visit this place and they do allow sampling of gelatos.

I love their unique flavours (especially blue pea). Waffle is better than other ice cream places, in particularly in the lightweight soft texture. Jess was very friendly and patient in serving us as well. Thank you Jess!

The crew is friendly and the shop offer some unique ice cream flavours like oolong kyoto hojicha and maple with pancake. Seating is a bit limited, but it’s still a cosy spot to enjoy ice cream and waffles if you’re around the area. Just wished the aircon is slightly cooler as the shop was on the warmer side.

The ice cream itself is nice but the staff today is not. We r a group of 5 that wanted to buy the ice cream, so we saw the jar of a used spoon that mentioned 4 flavours to try so ok we thought 1 person can try 4 flavours but each of us after trying 1 flavour, (4 of us tried only) and i wanted to try one more, that malay staff straight turned the jar for us and said no more. Im like sorry is it all of us get to try total of 4 flavours only ? He said yes, and it just dont make sense. What if one people come to buy and he also get to try only one or four flavour. But at the end ice cream not bad so we bought two scoops. Do note that time is non peak hour ya .
