This was a return visit to a great little place. The pool is wonderful and a great way to spend the afternoon after touring the temples at Angkor. Nice little simple breakfast with good coffee. Laundry drop of two doors down. Pub street and market a two dollar tuk tuk ride. Very very clean. Air conditioning works well. Sometimes you may have to ask them to turn it on as they may turn it off at the desk if you are gone from the hotel. Not a big deal the room cools quickly. Everyone was friendly. We paid $32 per night for a deluxe room and this seems reasonable to me. Everyone was friendly !!

Mom's Guesthouse was just great! Spacious rooms, great breakfast, friendly and helpful front desk staff. The pool was a very welcome bonus on hot afternoons after a day of sightseeing or wandering around. It's a bit of a walk from party central, which is fine if you like peace and quiet and don't mind a bit of a walk. Great barbecue restaurant just down the street, I will definitely recommend this place to friends, as long as you don't mind cool water for showers. It was hot enough I didn't mind at all.

I can’t say enough about Mom’s. The family that runs the hotel is wonderfully kind and welcoming. The pool is hands down the best kept secret in Siem Reap, it’s always quiet and feels very private. I hesitate to write such a great review for fear that the pool will be packed on my next stay, but I also would not stay in any other hotel when I return. The building is beautiful, very very clean, the food is big quality and there is always a deep sense of serenity. The staff is incredibly attentive, happy to give tips about where to go and what to see, arrange any trips for you, all you need to do is ask and you will receive. I’ve visited a number of guest houses in the area, there are no rooms this big or beautiful or clean for the price. I loved my little balcony and coming home to the soft light coming in from behind the curtains, the smell of incense and always big smiles from everyone. I had meant to change my hotel halfway through my stay, but after a couple days I could not bring myself to leave. This place will always be a special home in my heart. Btw the WiFi and air conditioning always worked like a charm ;)

Stayed in a deluxe room for four nights which was spacious and clean. It had a small balcony but unfortunately the view from it wasn't very interesting. Simple but well-prepared breakfast included. Nice quite sizeable pool. Helpful staff. Some good cheap places to eat nearby and just a short walk to the old market and pub street on the other side of the river. There are many more guesthouses nearby (particularly in the lane behind) and Mom's is a little dearer than many but probably worth it.

We stayed here for four nights in a triple room. The room was very small and not particularly clean. The bathtub shower is poorly designed and put in such that the entire floor is flooded every time the shower is used. The pillows were lumpy and clearly stained. The room was not cleaned the second day. The air conditioner was very noisy and had to be repaired on our second day. Plus it blew cold air directly over all three beds. The breakfast is a piece of fruit and a piece of bread. ||The staff are very pleasant and quick to respond to requests. ||This is truly a budget accommodation.

We have been coming to Siem Reap since 2009 with friends to work here for a week and have stayed in another small guesthouse in the area. This guesthouse was filled up and so we had to look elsewhere and this time we decided we wanted a pool ( we have never had one before).||moms guesthouse is very large with 30 rooms but for the 9 days we were there, our party of 8, were the only guests in except for two nights when a very noisy group stayed.||The rooms are serviced everyday and you are given water bottles each day too. Our bathroom in room131 was very functional and clean and spacious. There were two days when the hot water stopped working but it was fixed immediately.||Beds were ok although it was difficult to find a pillow that suited me.||My daughter was in the room at the front of the hotel and it was a noisy room and the aircon did not work well, but the other 4 rooms we used it worked well.||The place felt clean and it was easy walking distance to town.||We only tried breakfast one day but it unfortunately was not good at all: we actually went to our old guesthouse and paid to have breakfast there or walked down to Common Grounds Cafe if we were not working.||The pool was amazing however, the pool we expected from the pictures, is not the pool you get. They have a new pool at the front of the hotel and it was Magnificent. I have uploaded some photos of the new pool. We spent a lot of our free time just sitting in the pool cooling off and talking. There are regulated times you are sposed to be in the pool but the owner if you check with him and he is still up is ok for you to have a swim after hours.||We felt very safe there. The gates are locked at night so if you return late you need to ring the doorbell. And during the day there is always someone keeping watch so no one just wanders in who shouldn’t be there.||Overall, apart from breakfast which in my eyes is a minor thing; it was a fabulous place to stay.

In a tourist town where charming guests houses and hotels abound I see no reason to stay at Mom's. Our room was small, poorly arranged, noisy, with a bathroom door that was hard to close. In addition, it was the least clean of anyplace we stayed and there were no amenities except two very thin towels. The public spaces are attractive
