Really great ice cream! Homemade ice cream and ice cream cones made in house. We enjoyed getting to sample a few different flavors before ordering. Nice outdoor seating area and great flavor options. I would recommend if you are in the area

Momu Ice Cream was the sweetest addition to my 30th! 🍦 Their ice cream truck rolled in with the most incredible homemade flavors and toppings, and it was a total hit!! People are still raving about it. Beyond the amazing ice cream, the whole team was such a joy to work with.. friendly, accommodating, and made it feel like a true celebration. If you’re looking to wow your guests, this is IT.

MOMU Ice Cream, located in the former Saugatuck Sweets location, brings a unique, fresh, and fragrant take on ice cream and sorbet. ALL of the flavors are made on site, including their amazing, warm, prepared to order waffle cones. The pricing is a bit high in comparison to other places nearby but so is the quality, atmosphere and customer service. Locals and tourists alike need to check out this waterfront treatery to experience it for themselves. My personal favorites are the cookie dough and the mint chip, which is made with fresh mint so it packs a slightly stronger punch than usual. MOMU is another wonderful addition to the Westport community.

Cookies and cream was the worst flavor I’ve ever had. I would urge you all to try before selecting. One silver lining is the sleek and savvy decor. Also the lavender was yummy but soupy, like gazpacho.

Pretty good ice cream, nice variety. Came back several times. Cones & some toppings are made at the bakery across the street and are whole wheat, which wasn't clearly signposted and was a bit of a surprise. You can definitely taste the whole wheattyness, but I happen to like that flavor so I didn't mind. If you don't like whole wheat, get a cup instead. Flavors are seasonal but the staples are always there and always good.

The icecream is so delicious! The staff was very friendly and attentive. I got to sample a couple flavors because I couldn't decide what I wanted. We ended up having some delicious butter pecan and pistachio. The are is nice to hang outside by the water too. Will definitely be back !

I’m surprised anyone has anything bad to say about Momu. They have made me fall in love with ice cream again. You can taste the freshness and thought put into each flavor. The small scoops are small and a bit expensive but it’s Westport. My recommendation is to get a pint and bring it home. Their ice cream stays soft and easy to scoop which is a plus!

I'll admit that I have not tasted everything here so I can't really say how good or bad all the products here are, but the milkshakes were AWFUL!!! My fiancé asked for a vanilla milkshake (which tasted very soapy) while I asked for a hazelnut chocolate swirl. Despite having no "contains nuts" warning, my milkshake was very much nut-filled. Maybe that's on me for asking for hazelnut flavored, but if the Rocky Road above the vat of hazelnut ice cream had a warning about nuts, the hazelnut should too. Without that warning, someone could seriously get sent to the hospital or worse. And hello easy lawsuit.

We were greeted with a smile and offered samples. The girls had already decided on vanilla but it was nice to get the sample so they were sure! I had a taste and i liked how fresh it tasted. I had the hazelnut chocolate pretzel flavor and it was decadent. Only a few seats inside and two tables outside so I guess they want you to walk around with it? I had two kids with me so we sat at the tables at The Welk (they were closed).

Best ice cream of my LIFE. Salted caramel and lavender marshmallow. Both gluten free (gf) and lots of other gf options as well.

My friend and I had dinner in the area and decided to stop here for dessert. The shop is clean, inviting and modern. And the service was wonderful and prompt. They don't have a huge variety of flavors but the flavors they do offer are unique and delicious. We both enjoyed our scoops and views of the Saugatuck River. It's definitely a spot I'd return to.

MOMU Ice Cream, recently opened, has sublime artisan, hand-crafted ice cream and sorbet with top-tiered ingredients. I absolutely love their mesmerizing Malted Chocolate Crunch - wickedly lavish, creamy, soft serve texture but ice cream, crunchy, elegant, understated, super indulgent, and strongly packed, firework flavors! Strawberries are arguably the best Summer Fruits out there, and, of course, MOMU's Strawberry Ice Cream is so good, a must for a great start to Summer 2024! Enjoy some delicious strawberry ice cream that Tom Brady -no strawberries and fruit diet- can't. It is some of the most delicious ice cream I have ever tried and the best ice cream in Connecticut - the talented owners worked at Michelin restaurants, the best of the best for a reason, the pinnacle of excellence. Strawberry-Shiso Sorbet is redolent of in-season, ripe strawberries; strawberries and shiso combo shine in an refreshingly audacious and vibrantly sweet way for a summertime, icy treat enjoyment! Indeed, I have to check out their original Kneads, bakery and cafe...across the street.

Really amazing flavors, such as rhubarb, and if you like mint, the mint here is super fresh and strong. Some nice seating that looking out on the windows onto the river, there are some places to sit outside as well that share space with the Whelk, but it was too cold that day. We were happy to eat inside.

Stopped into Momu 15 min before closing the other night and even apologized for coming in late. The girl was super friendly, never rushed us, talked to us, and offered samples like we were her first customers of the day. The ice cream is definitely solid; incredible flavor profile and great quality. Guessing the recipes took a lot of tweaking to master. Only negative is the cones are paper thin and drip immediately. Momu and Arethusa are easily the two best ice cream spots in CT.

The ice cream here is top notch, excellent textured base with wonderful and thoughtful toppings. They have some great seasonal items, I was a particular fan of fall's apple fritter. The woman usually working when I've come in is always so lovely. I do wish they'd get a bit more experimental with their flavors, they have so many options I think they can afford to try some wacky or unusual ones like places in nyc such as caffe pana or k-town's sundaes best.

Momu was bustling on a beautiful Saturday evening! We were grateful the kind staff member went to the back to replace the flavor we were most interested in and they had previously sold out of (malt chocolate crunch)! It was delicious. Pricey but we were happy to support a new local business. There was ample outdoor seating with some indoor seating as well. A great fit for Westport!

Really good local ice cream shop using ingredients from the phenomenal bakery cafe Knead across the street. It's bougie so expect it to be pricey but unique delicious flavors.

Had the mud ice cream and it was absolutely amazing the ice cream was very creamy and the fudge so rich. Will be returning to try some of the other flavors.

This ice cream was delicious. I got cookies and cream and it was made with cookies made by the bakery across the street. Also reasonably priced. Very cute atmosphere

First visit here today, it won't be the last! Excellent high-quality ice cream, great selection of flavors and friendly service. This is the best ice cream shop I've found locally and I've tried many in Fairfield, Norwalk and Wilton. No need to go anywhere else, you will find the best here!

If you like egregiously overpriced ice cream served in an antiseptic environment than this is the place for you. In fairness, the ice cream tasted fine and the service was good, so for that I'll give 2 stars.

We got the Mud and Butter Pecan with their homemade fudge and carmel sauces. Some of the best ice cream we've ever had! The staff are pleasant and the retro-modern decor felt clean and comfortable. We would recommend this place to everyone!
