Monaco Apartments Caloundra

The location was fantastic with a beautiful view and easy access to everything. The balcony setting was lovely for relaxing and taking it all in. The staff were great and the facilities like pool and sauna were top notch. However the rooms felt a little outdated and could use a refresh. The bed was quite springy and not overly comfortable. Overall, lovely place with amazing views and good service. A bit of an update and it would reach its full potential.

This was the second time we stayed at Monaco. We stayed on the 10th floor and the view of the ocean from the large balcony was awesome.||The apartment was large enough for a family of four. The kitchen facilities were modern and clean, although we didn't use them at all. The rooms were fine and great it had a washing machine and dryer in the room.||The location was perfect, within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and cafes. The Sunday markets were nice as well.||Would recommend Monaco.

Great location close to shops, beaches and restaurants on the main street. The apartment was long and narrow but a generous size with full kitchen and pots and pans etc… great views of the passage.

Absolutely fantastic spot - close to everything. The view was great, the unit was clean and functional and honestly I didn’t want to come home. If you ever need a “live in” manager in the future I would happily take the job 😬

Stayed Feb 12 -19 2026 Staff were lovely however room was outdated .. had to get cleaners to take away smelly cushions and get a sheet to put over fabric couch . It was the worst body odour !!!also unfolded couch to a whole pile of sand in couch .. just horrible !!No bottle of water on arrival .. no coffee machine .. we had 1 bdrm sea view and we could see the ocean over the top of a concrete roof in front of us .. don’t be swayed on pictures .. the rooms are not at all like them !! Will never return here . So disappointed ☹️ Cathy Williams

Great location and views, but that’s where it ended. The apartment was freezing cold with no proper heating… just a small portable heater that didn’t do much. It was a cold, rainy weekend and we booked hoping to enjoy our stay indoors too… but it was just uncomfortable. The place was dusty and the furniture felt unclean. The bed was saggy and the pillows old and lumpy… had a terrible sleep, 2 restless nights. Foxtel only worked in the lounge, the bedroom had just three channels, which felt pointless. For the price we paid, we expected a much higher standard.

Such a wonderful stay. I have been here a couple of times before and it just as magic as the first time. The setting is amazing, facilities are well maintained and equipped, it is just a perfect little place like a utopian paradise. Thank you for another fantastic stay.
