Monashee Spirits Craft Distillery

We were visiting from out of town for my boyfriends 30th and had to make a stop here. We have heard soo many amazing things about this place and it did not disappoint what so ever. Such great vibes in the restaurant and the 2 guys that were working there were so lovely to interact with and made the whole experience more enjoyable and fun. I got the Topless Girl on a Bike in Paris and it was very delicious and the bonus wafer print just adds a touch of art to the drink, as well as telling a story. I love their menu and the personal touch it has and is very fun to read. My boyfriend got their Olivia martini and it was a perfect drink for celebrating his (dirty) thirties era 🤪 Thanks for answering all of his bartending questions aha and letting me try that amazing orange chocolate liquor- I’m still thinking about it. Looking forward to coming back here next time we are in town.

Award winning gin, hands down best gin I’ve ever had. Super smooth, not a lot of botanicals. 10/10!!! Kind of surprised they don’t showcase that more at this spot or on their drink menu. A must try. This review would be a 5 star if it was just about the gin, but alas this distillery/bar. But as for the actual distillery “bar” - Got the pit viper - it looked really cool but tasted too smokey to the point where it was over powering so you could not taste the fermented chili pineapple honey. The description didn’t mention the smokey taste. Huck me baby one more time - quite good. Loved the edible picture on top- very cool. The interior is small with a very trendy cool vibe.

Popped into Monashee the other day with a fairly large group. We were very thankful to have the outdoor seating to fit our whole group! The server was super attentive, and our drinks came quickly; even with our large group. They have a popcorn machine in the back, and a great menu with lots of unique cocktails! Thanks so much Monashee for the great experience!

This remarkable, cool, cocktail bar and distillery was a very nice surprise during our annual ski trip to Revelstoke. We're from the fickle city of Vancouver and I think this would be a success in our market. Just don't ask for beer!

This place is a gem. It’s now another good reason to make the trip to Reve, regardless of the season. Incredibly well stocked, great atmosphere, and awesome service. Jesse is the bomb, and is extremely good at crafting custom cocktails from scratch if you let him know what you like. I’ve hung out for an afternoon with a buddy, and for an evening with my wife most recently. Both enjoyed the experience and the cocktails in all their boozy glory. Can’t wait for our next visit. I’m going to introduce as many people as I can to this place - these local bars and craft producers are the ones we need to support! Must try when in stock: their epic Chocolate Orange Liqueur!

We stopped in Revelstoke for the night on our way from Vancouver back to Edmonton. We found this bar, and we were amazed by the authentic, charming bar. You are surrounded by an endless amount of spirit bottles, some barrels where they made their whiskey, and more and the cool artifacts they use for distillery. The bartender, who we thought was the owner too, was so kind and knowledgeable that we had to go with his suggestions for drinks, and oh boy! They were soooooo good ! Wish we could have something like that in Edmonton. We also bought a bottle of whiskey, and we love it, it just has every note in it. We'll definitely come back on our next road trip.

A fabulous spot for a drink or two in Revelstoke. The cocktail menu is imaginative and exciting, and I really enjoyed my rum based Tiki Death Punch - it was rather potent and very flavoursome. The service was friendly and welcoming, and overall we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend a visit!

10/10 Jesse took a lot of pride in his service and making sure we got the drink we were looking for. Drinks were incredible and the service was unmatched. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the different drinks. Walked us through the different mixes and his recommendations with above par.

We started with an embargo, pretty much a classic daiquiri and a gin martini! Then it was a manhattan and an always sunny which is a completely savory cilantro and lime drink. Rowan was fantastic with his knowledge of cocktails and even some tips for an upcoming mezcal trip we are doing to Oaxaca! The collection of spirits here are only surpassed by the hospitality and depth of knowledge of the staff! Cheers!

Great drink selection, outstanding service and very cool vibe. Drink selection available online. They also have more known brands of tequila, bourbons, whiskey. Craft cocktail options are many and creative, delicious!

i was pretty excited to try the drinks here because there were some creative juices mixed in the menu: drink topped with parmesan and tajin, drink with umami bitters, drink with fermented something, drink with roasted pineapple syrup they all sound interesting, right?! among them was the aurora borealis. it had creative canadian roots and peaked my interest. sitting at the bar, i watched the bartender do his magic pouring rye whiskey, simple syrup, bitters, champagne into a tall glass. he served it like that and i wondered where the absinthe was? maraschino? the st germain? lemon oil? the smoke? it felt deceitful and left a bad taste in my mouth. this happened evening of Jan 17 2023

Tried "The Dude Abides" a White Russian-like cocktail and a non alcoholic beverage called Shrubs, which was a vinegar based sofa drink. Both good. I'd love to try more cocktails from here. Due to covid, they had a QR code that took you to a menu, to reduce touching of things. Nice touch.

A small tasting room/full service bar. The vibe is very cozy and warm, with dry browns, leather furnishings and barrels. The bartender is friendly and happy to provide tastes of whatever they have in stock, free of charge. They also do some unique craft cocktails. I tried the huckleberry infused gin cocktail which was super easy drinking and a twist on a sour. The Vulcan fire is a super spicy, cinnamon heart type liquor that they make in-house. Really different and more spicy than fireball, which is the most comparative spirit. Unfortunately, they had sold out of the cream liquor when I visited. Would like to try that one next time. The distillery has only been open a couple years, but they seem to have really tackled the learning curve as apparently they were just featured in Forbes. Worth a visit if you are in town and want to try something local.

Fun and hip cocktail bar that is *occasionally* open. If you're walking by and it's open, drop in for a drink or two crafted with this distillery's own spirits. Non alcoholic options - shrubs - are available for teetotalers. The snacks menu might have a few options, depending on availability. They will more than likely have pizza pops - yes, the frozen kind - which are on the menu as a quasi-joke related to liquor licensing laws. Relax into the mountain town vibe at Monashee Spirits and mingle with locals in the casual atmosphere.

Good gin, use good tonic in their GnT's. The drink was a bit undercarbonated, wonder if it was because there was too much lime added.... Pop in, friendly staff, cool spot on the main drag.

Too rude to stay. Warm water served first up. Poor staff attitude (less than 1/3 tables taken and there was a rebuke for not choosing the poorly located only 2 chair table. Better places nearby.

Amazing drinks! We were worried they'd just be for show considering how good looking the cocktails are and with how many cocktail bars aim for aesthetic verse quality - but we enjoyed every. Single. Cocktail. we ordered! We were VERY pleasantly surprised and would recommend to anyone visiting Revelstoke! A HUGE plus for us was the dog friendly patio (they even brought our fur babies some water). Drop on by if you're in town!

We visited on a busy day in Revelstoke, and we were lucky that a group was just leaving when we arrived. We sat at the very comfy leather couches by the front window and enjoyed the friendly service and excellent drinks. Only wish they had a more complete food menu.

I love coming to Monashee for cocktails! The vibe inside is unique in town and the staff really make the experience. I'm very excited about the new Gin - I have to pick up some of that cucumber sparkling water at Le Marche to make my own fancy cocktails! Caesar samples at the farmers market on Saturdays are fun!

The best distillery I've ever been to. Tried 4 of the drinks (shared) they were amazingly tasty and strong. This place is perfect and serves free popcorn.

We were in Revelstoke for a few days to catch some runs...lucky enough to find this place. Amanda and Michael treated us like locals and gave new meaning to handcrafted cocktails. They are practicing the art of cocktails at an artisan level. Great ingredients, many made in house. Can't miss with the Negroni and the whiskey sour....they also have a take on Jaegermeister, Stokemeister, which is fabulous and so much better than the over sweet Jaeger..... This place reminds me of Death and Taxes in Reno, which still has set the high bar for cocktails I've had anywhere....Monashee gives it a run for its money!
