Nice from outside but the security don't let me in. I think Jewish community is not very welcoming to visitors (also in their museum they were little rude)

A prayer house for Jews is amazing in its beauty

Very special synagogue. Beautiful inside and lots of history. Costs 7 Euro per grownup (kids are free). Ticket is good also for Jewish Museum, 10 minutes walk

A great historical building. The guide was very informative about the history of the Jewish people in Thessaloniki. The building was a bit cold though early in the morning

The only synagogue left from before WW2. There are guided tours and historic review of the site.

The only Holocaust surviving Synagogue in Thessaloniki was spared due to the fact it was used as a red cross warehouse under Nazi occupation. It was refurbished in 2015.

Not enough people know of the history of this important building. We had a wonderful walking tour of the area, too.
