Mondego Green Park

Just simply a lovely park area to be at , with a fantastic ornate band stand surrounded by trees and statues throughout the park area . Plenty of park benches to laze on whilst you watch the world go by . It’s easily accessed from the main part of the town also from the footbridge joint if to the park at the other side of the river . This is a lovely shaded area to visit .

This space along the river had been under construction for a long time but the finished (nearly) product is spectacular - clean, inviting, loads of amenities like parking, places to eat and hang out, public restrooms, beautiful views. The community was there and engaged, jogging, biking, kids in the playground, people at outdoor cafés. Very Parisian with its rows of trees and sandy paths. Check out the Millennium pedestrian bridge with rainbow glass rails, easy access to the botanical gardens, easy walk to old town restaurants. Perfect on a summer evening.

Oh I love this park very much, close to the downtown, just next to the river and restaurants, also there is a playground for kids, lovely bridge. There is a big parking close to the park where you can leave your car, no problem with a parking spot. I was in there just in a time where started a christmas event- plenty of attraction for kids and grown. I hope to visit it again.

Mondego's Green Park is a beautiful place for a stroll along the riverbank, offering a peaceful environment with a lovely tree-lined pathway. It’s perfect for families, with a great playground for children, and there’s also a fantastic restaurants where you can enjoy a delicious meal and drinks. A wonderful spot to relax and enjoy nature!

A really nice place to visit for a peaceful break. It's located by Coimbra city center, and not too crowded. Also, it's easy to park nearby. Food, beverage.... are readily available. It will be super wonderful when the leaves turn to red in autumn.

Mondego's Green Park in Coimbra is a lovely, peaceful park perfect for a relaxing day out. 🌳 With its wide open spaces, beautiful greenery, and scenic views of the Rio Mondego, it’s an ideal spot for a picnic, a walk, or just to unwind. The park also has various walking paths, making it great for a bit of exercise. While it’s not overly crowded, it could be a little better maintained in certain areas. Still, it's a great place to enjoy nature and the outdoors, with plenty of space for kids to run around and explore. If you're looking for a calm, relaxing environment in Coimbra, this park is a nice option.

Lovely park! Great area for a walk, run, picnic, stroll, outdoor workout or yoga. Plenty of places to go within the park, including the iconic bridge that looks like it doesn't go all the way across (but it does) with its neat history of being built for an unrequited love. There is a duck pond, and a massive statue of a teddy bear (which I loved because I love bears!). There are public restrooms & at least one little kiosk at which you can buy ice cream, snacks, beverages or beer. Highly recommend!
