"Ideal to recharge your batteries. The comfortable rooms are adorned in the colours of the four seasons. Even better, you enjoy access to a modern spa and extensive wellness facilities. Exquisite! Finally, you can choose between two excellent brasseries at mealtimes." - Tablet Hotels

This is clearly an older hotel, but it’s been maintained beautifully. We had a huge room for just the two of us, with an equally large balcony that featured two separate seating areas. The reception staff was super welcoming, and we loved the small library of books in multiple languages that guests can borrow. We arrived about an hour before check-in time, and they let us in with no fuss at all. The room was well-equipped with bathrobes, plenty of towels, and all the toiletries smelled lovely. Breakfast was great—lots of options including different breads, jams, and cereals. The outdoor area is peaceful and relaxing, and walking to the thermal baths is very convenient.

A Perfect Spa Getaway – We’ll Definitely Be Back! We had a wonderful two-night stay at Mondorf Domaine Thermal and truly enjoyed every moment. The hotel is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing escape. The spa facilities were excellent clean, modern, and incredibly soothing. We also had massages during our stay, and they were absolutely amazing professional, relaxing, and exactly what we needed. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the whole experience was seamless from start to finish

Terrible experience with one of the hotel's employees: Jean Yves , one of the hosts and at the reception/front desk. Rude, not willing to help. We had two experiences with him, both bad: 1. At Check-in, i spoke to him in French ( i have conversational proficiency as i did my high school at a French school), and he basically couldn't help but asked for a person to whom he could speak. ( Really?? At the front desk and hosting many international travelers for the ironman 70.3 Luxembourg?). He ended up ignoring me and talking to my daughter who is fluent 2. He shhhhd my cousin ( also a guest at the hotel) in a very loud and rude manner from his desk ... When my cousin reply, politely and asking him to use better manners " could you please use some kindness" / the words she used, he was even more rude. In addition, breakfast needs to be better planned for peak moments. Employees were kind and helpful but having only one coffee machine properly working didn't help

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO! If you are on business and travelling on a CORPORATE rate - BEWARE My husband works for a Canadian company that has a large location in Dudelange. Since I was travelling with him on my first trip to Europe we decided to visit this hotel and spa. Based on the pictures shown and the amenities included it looked like it would be an amazing vacation for me. 1. With the CORPORATE rate the spa is not included - they just said NO. If I want to attend I could pay 17 Euros per day. That's equivalent of $26.50 CAD. 2. With the CORPORATE rate the included breakfast is NOT INCLUDED. 22 Euros or $34.20 CAD. That's an expensive breakfast. In the town of Mondorf there isn't anywhere else to go. 3. With the CORPORATE rate we were given a shoebox. One king size bed fills the entire living space. Can't even pull the chair out to sit at the desk. I have to move it back and then to the side to slide in. The only other spaces in the room are the bathroom - which is very nice - and the foyer. No dresser, our clothes had to go on shelves in the closet. Our balcony faces a concrete wall. The HVAC system does absolutely nothing to regulate the temperature in the room so we have to have the door open constantly for coolness and air movement. The door must be open all night or sleep is impossible in the stuffy heat. The hotel is fairly empty and housekeeping staff actually showed us a room comparable to what is shown on the website. Hotel staff has made no effort at all to make the week more comfortable 4. There is no ice available for our rooms. I had to ask for a glass of ice and front desk staff went behind the bar to get me 4 cubes in a glass. I am not comfortable doing that several times a day! No coffee provided in the room either. Just a small kettle and a few tea bags. If you want to fill your water bottle you need to walk all the way to the spa to find a fountain. The cold water in the bathroom faucets isn't really cold. On a positive note, the hotel is clean, our male housekeeper is friendly and our room is completely made up during the time I was at breakfast. Unfortunately we won't be back and will be communicating this disappointment with other staff. The big North American brand hotels know how to keep their clients comfortable and happy.

Reception was not welcoming and they gave us a room that had not been cleaned yet. When confronted with it they wanted to give us a room which was lesser and never apologized for the mistake. We ended up with the manager at the room still without apology for the mistake which can happen. They could simply given us keys let us go to the spa - apologized given us a voucher for some drinks as compensation and we would have been happy. The cleaning lady was the hero of the day - she understood the problem and apologized. Note to reception. Smile and coordinate your dress code. It is the first impression and the face of the hotel.

Mondorf's Sauna, in my opinion, is overrated. It's quite impractical when it comes to swimwear, which makes it difficult for the clients to enjoy trying out the sauna options without taking off then putting on their swimwear again and again. The no-tolerance vibe of the environment makes the people insecure about their bodies and the atmosphere is dull. Also, in winter, if you want to lie down somewhere warm inside, forget it. You have to pay (in coins, not even with the badge) for the upstairs mattresses under the red light. I find this unfair considering the costly entry price and the reputation, not to mention that it is very inconvenient to make the clients go to their closets, get coins, and come back just to lie down warmly until their next sauna ceremony. However, there are many saunas with various temperatures, a hammam, and a warm-seats room (I enjoyed this one to rest inside during winter instead for the paid mattresses section). The ceremony I experienced was lovely and its coordinator was professional and with a friendly and open vibe. Personally and unfortunately, I will not come back here again. I prefer the openness and simplicity of other available saunas in Luxembourg which provide all the variety and the lovely green space without such high costs and impractical zero-tolerance against nudity. In Mondorf, you can't even experience the jacuzzi or the sauna pools without a swimwear. It's the only sauna in Luxembourg that6is like this.

Quiet and peaceful place to stay. The spa is quite large and well known in Luxembourg. Hotel is a bit overpriced but still worth the value. Friendly staffs, clean and bright rooms, high standard restaurants. Recommend.
