We were really impressed. The service, the food, especially the ambiance, even the acoustics were something special. The price-performance ratio is definitely fair. It’s a place for a special occasion. The service was absolutely great! That's exactly how I imagine service in a restaurant should be. I would give more than 5 stars if I could! I have looked at the other reviews. Absolutely not justified. If you are looking for a vegan restaurant then you should do a better search on Google. If you're looking for a quiet ambience and something non-touristy for €30 for food, this is the place for you. I love fine food, exclusive and not fast food. That's what I got here. If you know about good food, this is the place to come. The rest give unrealistic reviews that meet their standards.

What a hidden gem!! In the middle of everything and about 2 blocks at most from the Harbor. Check in was wonderful and the Receptionist very accommodating and answered all our questions and gave us great tips as well. The rooms were ample enough great pillows, mattress and very very clean room and bathroom. Breakfast was tasty and they serve very generous portions. Most importantly there is an elevator which is perfect for elderly people like us. Property is so beautiful- don’t pass up the opportunity to stay here!!

Two adults and a 6 year old, 3 night stay in a penthouse room. Nicely decorated, stylish room. All staff are lovely and helpful. Breakfast is perfect - love the freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice the most. Had the private indoor pool on day do which was very refreshing. Close to harbour and easy to find using google maps. Didn’t have chance to go to restaurant for dinner but looked beautiful. Loved the roof terrace. Two comfortable sun loungers, 2 big chairs and a parasol. Able to dip into the jacuzzi bath and have hot or cold. Overall, great experience and would have no hesitation to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Amazing and very close to the centre, monastery hotel is a little more money but it’s well worth paying the extra for the experience. The hot tub experience on the roof top is well worth the extra. The staff are very friendly and want to do all they can to make your stay the best you have had. Even the in house cleaners were very accommodating and would get you extra coffee pods when asked for, very quick and thoughtful. Our whole satay at this place was exceptional would recommend it to any one of our friends.

Our stay was unbelievable - this hotel is exceptional. Stayed the night in Honeymoon suite with rooftop and hot tub, used the spa which is simply amazing, and had a beautiful 4-course meal in the evening. You cannot fault it. Highly recommend a stay here if you’re in Chania Old Town.

We ate dinner here and it was one of my favorite meals in Greece. I am so happy we started our trip there. There food is super fresh and their staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the property. Even going to the bathroom was like going back through history (just see). I loved the location, it was very romantic.

The biggest negative is that our bed in our room was only accessible from one side. The furniture was designed for this particular room was totally off. Very difficult to get in and out of bed. Bathrooms are small and the water from the shower consumes the entire bathroom floor particularly. The front desk was apologetic but did not find any solutions. Breakfast was delicious but the service / kitchen was a bit slow at times. Best part of this hotel is the location. Right in old town and close to the habour.

So it's not exactly trad Greek but if you want modern cooking then try this place. Not the easiest place to find down a backstreet alley but worth the trip. Shrimp carpaccio and an excellent rare beef fillet
