Mongoose Restaurant & lounge Ocho Rios jamaica

I loved the food!!! It was a great atmosphere and I loved the music. The staff was good, for an American it's definitely different culturally, but I honestly enjoyed that aspect. We shouldn't expect them to have the same temper or aspects as us since we are visiting them. To me the service was great and I liked that they let us eat and didn't constantly bother us.

Came here with a large group of my family (12 people) and I enjoyed the experience very much. The food came quicker than I expected and it tasted delicious, all of us loved it! The staff was great, so of course we left a tip.

I am very happy I decided to try Mongoose Restaurant. They get it right, the atmosphere, service, food, and music. Our server, Trish, was excellent, presented herself well, and just the right attitude, which made the experience that much more enjoyable. It's been a while since I have been to a restaurant where I can't think of a negative feedback - perfect start to a great weekend! Go to Mongoose, ask for Trish, you will be satisfied! Cheers!

I visited Mongoose restaurant and bar this evening. The service and atmosphere were excellent. They have a live band every Saturday evening. You can come alone to enjoy a meal and relax while listening to the local DJ and the live band.

The food was amazing (took some time ) but the drinks are very watered down (my husband got a Long Island ice tea and I tasted no booze and I don’t drink )and when we made the waiter aware she didn’t ask us if we wanted the drinks remade and when we asked for a shot cuz I’m sure the drinkers were not made right she charged us - the waiter flat out asked us if we were tipping her which kinda ruined my experience

The service was good. We ordered curried chicken, oxtail and Jerk Chicken. We all enjoyed our meals. The wait was about 20 mins. However,I must note that not alot of persons were dining at that time.

We came here and ate as part of our tour. Nice little restaurant with good food and friendly staff. Forgot to take pictures of the food 😅 but took a picture of the sign on the way out so I could remember the place next time.

Food was trash. Overpriced and customer service was a 2 out of 10. They increase the price and create their own exchange rate to devalue the dollar so you are paying $100 for a $60 meal.
