I took off one star today because of the fact that they don’t have a choice of sugar-free options . Wish they would add a sugar-free vanilla syrup for those that have diabetes and health problems! My husband went in there today to order a Chai. He was very irritated that they had no sugar free selection so he left without ordering anytthing. The coffee itself is excellent. When you see a chimney and you can smell roasted coffee smoke billowing out of it. Can’t get any fresher than this. Breakfast cookies are hearty filling not too sweet!

The ladies here are kind. I got an iced matcha with some sweetener and a vanilla and lavender shot. It was good, I do wish it had a bit more matcha flavour as I tasted the milk more than the matcha but it’s always a hit or miss with matcha so no hate.

Monigram Coffee Roasters is a quaint local cafe. Our drinks were tasty and had well balanced flavours, for example the lavender London fog just had a light hint of floral. The staff are friendly and cheerful. I really enjoyed the communal atmosphere of the place.

Always a pleasure to be here! They have one of the best coffee in Cambridge area including KW! I could tell the difference when I went to Blazac’s Kitchener and tried a gingerbread latte there, and it’s such a huge difference between the taste of coffee. The coffee at Monigram is very high quality, and they make it with love. The staff is also super friendly, and accommodating.

Delicious food and drinks in an awesome atmosphere. Don’t miss it if you’re in town.

Had cappuccino and Chocolate Banana Waffles. Food and Beverage was great. A little disappointed they served it with table syrup and not actual maple syrup. The friend I was with has a medical condition and can't consume much caffeine but the only option for decaf is a decaf Americano. The barista was very accommodating and gave her a separate cup of hot water to help dilute it as Americanos are usually too strong tasting for her. Overall we enjoyed our visit and will return whenever we are in the area.

Treated myself to a coffee at Monigram while grabbing my fresh ground coffee for home. I really love walking into their space and being greeted warmly. I ended up ordering a cappuccino and was not disappointed! The barista was lovely (even with another customer being impatient and rude to her). She stayed calm and pleasant despite that interaction. Do yourself a favour and stop in for a coffee sometime.

Best coffee & light food offerings in Galt! Lovely atmosphere as well. I wish it was more accessible for strollers, etc. but it is an old building (just a few stairs upon entering). Staff are also always amazing & friendly!

I definitely recommend this unique place to enjoy the best lattes and food. The owner Monica is such a warm, welcoming person which adds to the entire atmosphere and experience.

The best spot for coffe in Cambridge. The excellent service and quality have always been consistent and they have never disappointed! I bring all of my friends and family who are visiting here, as they have some delicious coffee, friendly service, and a great location to chat or to work. They also have plenty of seasonal specials which are super delicious! Their fall s'mores drink is to die for at the moment. But of course, their regular menu items like the cappuccino and hot chocolate are consistently phenomenal!

Was visiting from Toronto and this was the place that stood out the most. Got the strawberry pastry and a flavourful cappucino. Very cute aesthetic inside and the drink was brought out to me.

Fantastic coffee! We loved the autumn latte the most, it was a perfect little warm treat while we walked around the area. Looks like a really hip study spot too. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Their baked goods looked really good from the other reviews, but unfortunately we came later in the days so there were barely any left in their display case. Next time we'll try to get there early to snag some treats to eat with our coffees. :) Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Uninviting and impatient counter staff!!!! I have given Monigram Coffee Roasters 4 tries hoping for a better outcome each time. It didn't happen. It is very hard to ask questions and try new coffees when the staff treat you like they want you to leave. They are dismissive and rude and no coffee is worth that. So reader I am going to offer you a few places you can go to get a better experience. These are coffee places I pass on the way to Monogram Coffee Roasters you may want to try instead. Melville cafe Grand Cafe and my personal favourite Java Jax

Barista's know everything about making a great coffee. Try the buns for a splurge! A little off the usual path but worth the 10 mins!

The menu here is so varied and the coffee is fabulous! I can't believe it took me so long to go here. There is lots of seating both inside and outside. The staff is really good at what they do and the cappuccino always looks so pretty! This is a great place for brunch any day of the week!

A great place to enjoy a truly good cup of espresso. They actually roast the beans themselves which makes for a much better and fresher taste. I tried a shot of their Kayon espresso. Very tangy and interesting flavour. Nice after taste. The owner suggested I tried it and offered a regular shot if I did not enjoy the Kayon. There was no need. I bought a pound to take home. 10 min off the highway.

My friend and I both had the Eggs Benedict, both done a bit differently but they were both so flavourful! One of the best Eggs Benedict I've had. It was just the amount of food for a quick breakfast. I did think the prices were a bit high. It was $8.00 just for one egg and $14.00 for two. However, they presented the food so nicely. The atmosphere was really nice and clean and modern. It wasn't just a typical restaurant. Our server was very friendly and came to our table right away. We didn't have to wait too long to be seated and another positive is that the coffee was really good - which isn't always the case at breakfast places!

Hard to disagree with the current perfect/5 star rating. The coffee (latte, americano) both excellent. Best surprise; the morning cookie (something to that effect) was AMAZING (see picture if you care). Also a great interior/exterior and sitting areas.

The best coffee shop in town! And they've got a great selection of tea from Genuine Tea as well. I've tried the jasmine tea and it had a great, refreshing taste. Staff are cheerful and their positive attitude can be contagious. I like how this coffee shop has outlets for you to plug in your electronic devices and the wifi works great. I've tried some croissants and sandwiches before and have no complaints. In the summer, I've seen some musicians performing in front of the coffee shop. Must visit if you're in the area.

Best cappuccino in town . They have so much variety in breakfast. 2 hours parking is available in front of the coffee shop. Staff is extremely friendly and guides you in ordering

I've been to hundreds of coffee shops in my time, chains, and independents. I have been a customer from before Monica and Graham opened 11 years ago. The culture that they, and their staff, have created stands as a testament to their uniqueness!

Great coffee place if you enjoy waiting 15+ minutes for a coffee. Not impressed with the prices either. $6+ for a single shot latte is a bit steep. The staff were super friendly though. I will give them that. The customers seemed to lean on the rude side.

I enjoy supporting local coffee shops.. Took a short country drive from Guelph for my first time visit to Monigram Coffee located in a century old building in scenic downtown Galt last Saturday.. cool spot. I liked the vibe in here, enjoyed a coffee and a fresh cinnamon coffee muffin. Look forward to stopping by again to try more of their specialties. Friendly service and decent amount of parking on site.

I went to this coffee shop for the first time on Friday for lunch and a latte. I really loved how it looked inside and right away noticed how busy it was.. It can definitely be hard to get a table at peak times. Pros: amazing latte and probably the best service I've ever had at a coffee shop. The owner came to introduce herself and welcome us which was amazing. The customer service is excellent. Cons: my sandwich and latte costed just over $20 so if I go in future I'd stick to only drinks I think. Overall amazing experience. I live in Toronto but whenever I visit my family in Cambridge I want to make a stop here.

Great cafe for coffee, brunch, and baked goods. My friend and I went there for brunch and I got their spicy mango chutney sandwich with chicken and it amazing! I also got a cappuccino and my friend got their coffee and TBC sandwich. The coffee was really good - a bit pricey but worth it! They also sell their house made mango chutney, jams, and coffee makers (french press, pourover, drip, mugs, etc. - all really cute!). Would definitely recommend for coffee lovers out there!

Love the atmosphere. They are very organized and there is always someone to greet you and answer any questions u may have .... I know when I walked in as a fist timer I felt at ease.. Coffee there is my top choice its not unusual for me to go outta my way to stop in..

Was on the hunt for a great morning latte without a line up. Stumbled on Monigram Coffee Roasters on Google and had to give it a try. They roast their beans in house and what's even better is that they're Canadian. Here's to supporting local and not mass corporations. Oh, and the hollandaise sauce on the eggs benny was perfect :) what a friendly place to enjoy a good book and feel welcome. If you appreciate great coffee, check it out!

This place is pretentious in all the best ways. Is coffee an art form? Does it really need this much attention to detail? Must you choose the right drink for the activity you're embarking on? Do you really need to take your coffee this seriously? Absolutely. 100%. This place is a gem. The first time I got a latte here I took my travel cup and headed for my car. A right turn onto Ainsley and I begin a drive to Brantford. Heading towards Hwy 24 I take my first sip and nearly drive off the road. The balance of flavours, the texture of steamed milk. The nose, the finish. I seriously underestimated the amount of attention a cup of coffee can demand on a good day. Consistency is at 100%. Never had a bad cup. The food is terrific. Exactly the right stuff on offer. Daily lunch specials make regular visits essential. Also, it's really nice inside. Noisy enough. Private enough. Top all of this off with the most charismatic owners possible and you've got a recipe for a perfect experience. Can't rate Monogram highly enough.

The BEST. Beautiful aesthetics on the inside AND the outside! The place is cozy, and the drinks were fantastic. When I walked in, they were literally roasting a fresh batch of coffee right then and there! I had an Americano which was fantastic and a nice whole grain croissant to go with it. The staff were super helpful and very educated - they answered all my questions about coffee and what was good. I would come here every day if I could!

Best coffee I've ever had! Period. I think a lot of places are forgettable or ordinary coffee but this place really is special. The coffee is great. The specialty drinks are great like the cortado and the misto rubato. The croissants are fluffy and super high quality. Prices are slightly higher but it's well justified. The inside is not as nice as some other coffee shops but I personally don't care about that. The wifi isn't as wonky as it used to be, which was my only real complaint about this place previously. The staff are super friendly as well.

Drove through Camebridge and decided to stop at this cute little coffee shop for some breakfast. Service was great, food was amazing, top of the line coffee. Will be coming back next time we pass through.

When back atleast 10 times for Cortados, only one person working there knows what it is, every time I get one of the guys or girls besides the one specific girl who actually knows what she is doing I get 2 oz of espresso and then 3 to 4 Oz of Milk!

I live in waterloo but came here because a friend was participating in a craft show they were hosting. Place was busy - good sign. It has kind of a granola crunch vibe but was cozy. Staff was excellent. We sat at a table for 2 hours and never felt pressured to leave. Had a flat white that was excellent. Didn't have any food but would try next time. I'd return for a coffee date with friends. A bit out of my way to frequent on the regular.

Having a tumeric late, looks and tastes really great!! Super friendly service! Atmosphere is relaxed and not really loud, great little spot.

Delicious food, amazing coffee and a lovely patio. Dogs are welcome which is a plus. With art from local artists inside their shop it adds a cozy homelike feel.

I am now a regular and I love everything about the place. I've had their yummy pumpkin soup, spinach pie, lattes. You name it everything here is incredible. The hospitality is amazing! I hope to buy my beans for home brewing soon from Monigram

I think I may have found my new hangout area in Galt. I did come at what looked like a busy time as there were not many tables available but thats a pretty good sign for the business. This is a very hipster kind of area, with lots to look at within the actual shop itself. There are plenty of local businesses that come and hang flyers, which is great for people who are new to the area like myself. The owner was behind the bar and made most of the drinks, he was friendly and seemed to love his job very much. I believe this cafe has been around for perhaps three years this year and has a steady stream of attention in the Galt area. If you enter "monigram coffee roasters" into your search engine there will be plenty of returns about this cafe being a local hot spot with a rich history. I ordered the chai apple cider and multigrain croissant BLT with kettle chips for a quick lunch. I think the Chai cider is going to be my new favorite drink, it is sweet from the apple but also has the spice of both the cider and the chai. This is an amazing combination, it is a natural sweet and spicy mixture that would be perfect with a scone or other bready baked items. I did drink this after I was done my croissant because I felt like they didn't mix well on my pallet. The multigrain croissant BLT was really good as well, there is a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce with the bacon; which is real and crispy! The croissant is baked in house as well as the kettle chips which were warm and salty. The space is large and clean, it is modern with an old english twist. I could go on and on but it would be best to head down and experience the coffee roasting genius for yourself.

I am working in Cambridge this summer on a special project and by 10:30am was ready for a break. I consider myself a true coffee lover and trusted Yelp to help me find the best spot for a decadent mid morning break. This is the place! Friendly and warm staff, delicious baked goods, inviting ambiance and best of all... the darkest and creamiest espresso roast I have had in a long time! This is the place!

This is such a great place to sit down and enjoy coffee or treats. The staff are delightful and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. If you're just looking to bring home your own beans they roast some awesome ones on site. If you're not sure, Graham or Monica will definitely help you out with no pressure. Love this place.

Monigram's Madcat Espresso is the best out there. We drive in from Guelph just to buy our beans! The service here is always wonderful and the food is delicious. Don't pass up the chance to try their coffee.

Loved this place for an afternoon coffee and pastry on a cold, windy fall day. Great service, coffee, and atmosphere. Big windows let in lots of light. Thought the giant coffee cup sink in the bathroom was pretty cool.

This is probably the best coffee place in the Tri-City, Guelph, and Hamilton area. If you are a coffee lover, this is the place to get high quality and affordable coffee. Freshly roasted each night on location, you are getting an experience when you try Grahams coffee. This cute cafe offers amazing fresh coffee, delicious lunch and snack items, and a great place to get together with friends. Come early, as it is busy! Never been to a coffee shop that has been so busy and high traffic such as this, but don't fret! It truly is busy because they offer you a coffee that isn't just a coffee, but a story of pride in crafting the perfect coffee or latte. High recommended, and I assure you will not be disappointed with your coffee experience.

My favourite place to sit and sip a sinfully delicious cup of coffee, and the only place I buy the coffee I brew at home. Graham, Monica and their entire staff make you feel completely at home the second you walk in the door. This is not a place for quick coffee. It is to be slow and savoured, both in the making and drinking. Locally roasted, ethically sourced and brewed with care and finess. They're a much loved heartbeat at the centre of Downtown Galt!

Went here the other day, had a BLT (average) & cold brew coffee (amazing) , great service and really great coffee, I recomed this to anyone who's in Cambridge. I will be going weekly, it's my new fav coffee shop in Cambridge
