14 Best Bars in Maui: Our Favorite Spots for Drinking Any Time of Day | Condé Nast Traveler

"If you're looking for funky, loud, and lively, you've found it: Colorful surfboards hang from the ceiling above the bar, a live local band plays in the corner, and servers whiz past with trays full of gorgeous foam-topped cocktails and slices of cream pie. The decor is very Hawaiian but not at all kitschy, and the space spills out onto a breezy outdoor patio with gorgeous sunset views. There are a 36 craft beers on tap and 12 craft cocktails." - Kris Fordham

Google
We ate at some fantastic restaurants during our trip to Hawaii. The food here was arguably the best. I wish I could remember our servers name as she was one of the best I have seen anywhere. Lobster deviled eggs were delicious. I tried the gnocchi and the waitress suggested adding chicken. Monkeypod has tasty twist on a pretty common pasta would highly recommend trying this.

Google
Wonderful restaurant, the atmosphere, cocktails, food and service was excellent. The macadamia fish was very good as well as the regular Old Fashioned cocktail. It was very enjoyable and the live music was just getting ready to start when we were leaving. We had a few people at our resort recommend The Monkeypod Kitchen. Not sure where they came up with the name. Cool place.

Google
The service was great. The food was awesome. The whole atmosphere was where it should be for a nice restaurant. We definitely recommend eating here. You will enjoy it! I definitely will be back!

Google
What a beautiful location. Waterfalls inside and out. Two different levels with indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly wait staff. Drinks were delivered fresh and cold. Food came out hot and seasoned well. I enjoyed the chicken wings. My wife enjoyed the Ahi Tuna tacos. We also enjoyed the Ahi Tuna meal. Cooked perfectly! Then we hiked across the street to watch a beautiful sunset.

Google
Came for Happy hour in early September, food was amazing. Had the pizza, wings, and tortilla soup. Please note before coming here this restaurant does NOT carry ranch. If you enjoy it with your pizza wings, you may want to look else where. Also, it may have been the time we came but the bugs were all over us despite the restaurant putting out these bug deterrents on each table. Other than that I think you may be better off picking up your food to go.

Google
We had a delicious dinner here! Started with the Mai Tais (the honey lilikoi foam is divine). Then we shared the broccoli salad with house made romanesco and the lamb sausage pizza. Both were excellent. Not super “Hawaiian” choices but we would order both again. I knocked off one star on atmosphere because it’s in a mall behind the hotels so it doesn’t have any ocean view, but we ate on the second floor and were surrounded by gorgeous plumeria trees off the balcony.

Google
Jasmine is an amazing server! Her friendlessness and positive attitude is contagious! She genuinely wants to see her guests enjoy their visit. Jasmine even wrote us a sweet note :) (picture provided). We went The next night just to see her again! The food is good but I'd recommend going during their happy hour which I think is 330-5 most days, non seafood apps are half off!

Google
Monkeypod Kitchen is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a solid happy hour. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, with live music, open-air seating, and great service that makes you feel right at home. Their happy hour deals are hard to beat—discounted drinks and 1/2 regular appetizers and $14 pizza. The Monkeypod Mai Tai with that signature lilikoi foam is a must-try, and the pizzas and garlic truffle fries are always spot-on. Everything is made with quality ingredients and full of flavor. Whether you’re catching up with friends or just looking for a great spot to kick back, Monkeypod’s happy hour always delivers. Definitely a go-to if you’re in the area.

Yelp

Yelp
The food es good, the service is great, really beautiful restaurant and food, nice ambiance. If you booked you don't need to wait at all

Yelp
I always have to stop by here whenever I'm in Ko Olina. I love the food and atmosphere here. The happy hour is worth! Appetizers are half off and pizza is discounted. Happy hour is from 3:30 pm - 5 pm and includes weekends! Recommend making reservations if you can. The first time I came here was during prime dinner time and had to wait 45 minutes. The next time I came, I was seated right away. It depends on the day but it can get busy at times. They do have a keiki (kids) menu. My son got the Monkey Business Saimin which tasted not quite like ramen but similar to it. Keiki under 3 get free noodles and cheese. I got the taro ravioli. It's two of my favorite things-- taro and ravioli so I really enjoyed it. The ravioli is filled with taro and water cress and drizzled with chili garlic oil. It's conveniently located by a few hotels so it's a nice option if you want to try something else than hotel food. Parking is not free. I stayed at Aulani and thought it'd be easier with kids to drive over-- which was a mistake on my part. I parked at the parking lot that was across the street which would have been the same distance from the parking garage from my hotel and in addition, I had to pay for parking. If you're staying at nearby hotels, I recommend walking over.

Yelp
Oh, Monkeypod! You hold a special place in my heart! Besides your beautiful location, friendly ambiance, 'ono food, tasty cocktails, and hefty selection of beer - this is where my wife and I would come every Sunday for Happy Hour! Thank you for continuing to offer your Happy Hour. It allows us to frequently come and enjoy your offerings. This time around, we decided to come celebrate our 11-year wedding anniversary. As always, it did not disappoint. I hope you never go anywhere because nothing else on-island compares. As always, we shared some tasty Garlic Truffle Fries, their delicious mushrooms pizza, choke beer, and of course their unique Mai Tai. I have never had a more delicious Mai Tai (or any cocktail) as delicious as their concoction. Our waiter was extremely friendly and shared his thoughts on the various beers for us to try. This time around, we tried their "mead" which was quite interesting. Literally tasted like a seltzer. Who would have thought people hundreds of years have seltzers before we did. Thank you for the most delicious strawberry pie to honor our anniversary.

Yelp
I've been to several Monkeypod locations and make a point to go every time I visit Oahu, the most recent trip being July 2024. The service is always excellent, and the food never disappoints. This time I visited with my boyfriend, and we shared the Shrimp Potsticker appetizer. I had the Ahi Steak as my entrée and a Tongue Thai'd cocktail. Everything was delicious! No dessert this time, but I still highly recommend Monkeypod for the great food, wonderful service, and fantastic live music. I miss you, Izik!

Yelp
I am working through my backlog of Yelp reviews from my vacation but this one was HIGH on the priority list to post. Monkeypod consistently has great food and we have been to other locations before so we were familiar. What made this stand out was their bartenders special: They had a mixologist who had made a "cinnamon role old fashion." As someone who loves old fashions I had to try it. This was without question one of the best cocktails I've ever had. Our server told us how he had made butter croissant infused Elijah Craig bourbon and a home made cinnamon simple syrup. It was so phenomenal that I came back the next day specifically for happy hour to get more of this. Our server was amazing and food was outstanding as well... but I will dream about that cocktail

Yelp
We visited Monkeypod Kitchen mainly for their happy hour, and of course for the famous lilikoi Mai Tais--which absolutely lived up to our expectations (yes, we've had them many times before). They were fresh, well-balanced, and exactly what you want in a signature island cocktail. The happy hour scene had that classic Monkeypod energy: lively bar crowd, great island vibe, and plenty of fresh air with the open, outdoor feel. It's a fun spot to settle in and enjoy a drink or two. We didn't dive too deep into the food menu this time, but we did try the truffle fries. While they were cooked well, they were a bit light on the truffle flavor for our taste. Service was excellent throughout--friendly, attentive, and engaging without being overbearing. All in all, a solid happy hour stop with fantastic cocktails and great island atmosphere. We'll definitely be back for the drinks--and next time, maybe more of the food.

Yelp
Farm to table eatery & bar for Hawaiian food, beer & cocktails, served in a casual space. Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman, this location had a different vibe! Everything was excellent and the service was amazing. We got sprinkled since we are on the outside patio, they came to shift our table so we can stay outside and enjoy our experience. We got the Blind Tiger to drink up, Kalua Pork & Pineapple pizza, and Organic Macadamia Nut Crusted Fresh Fish! It was very good. The server ask us are we celebrating something, it was our bday celebration trip. He offered free dessert to both of us. We were SO full, we declined. He convinced us to take to go with us. This was one of the best meals and experience we had on our whole 7 day tip.

Yelp
Great atmosphere on the outdoor seating -- second level for dinner -- with nice view of the trees and skyline and close by walking distance of like a block from hotels (Four Seasons and Disney). Food is fine. Lemon vinegarette salad dressing was outstanding -- the best part of the meal. The devilled eggs were delicious. We did not care for the fries (not so crunchy but that might just be the style). The fish was good but on the pricey side.We Service was nice and friendly. We appreciated that our waitress allowed us to order HH specials while it was close to 6pm. The appetizers that were non-seafood were half off. Better make reservations b/c this place gets crowded fast.

Yelp
Great service. Awesome ambiance. Food tends to the local food with a fancy twist. Some advice: make reservations!!! The saimin is bomb. Bar selection is good. Pizzas, good. Dessert, good. Recommend Monkeypod for date nights, night "out of town" for the locals. Thank you for a great experience.
google avatar

Yelp
Spacious 2 story restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. The service and food are good. This place is great if you're staying in the Ko Olina area and want to have a nice dinner but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here on our last night in Hawaii. We had a very large group and the servers were excellent. Food was good too. I got the fish in the day tacos and so good. Very pretty restaurant , though located in a shopping area with limited (paid) parking.
google avatar

Diane W.

Yelp
Best visit here to date. Came here for drinks only, and in a very small time frame. Sat/ ordered at the bar and our drinks arrived quickly. All were delicious, and $4 off each with Happy Hour going on. Sounded like a live singer but didn't see anyone. Beautiful setting. In and out in 20 minutes to go back on the Hawai'i Railway ( give them some love !!)

Yelp
Monkeypod is always a stop we make when we are in Oahu! They have great food, drinks, ambiance, and service. The white walker drink is always my go to. Very well balanced and refreshing. All of the flatbreads are good, as are the truffle fries, and both are on the happy hour menu! The potstickers were kind of disappointing in flavor and portion for the price. The fresh caught fish tacos were very flavorful and a big hit for our group. They have multiple locations but this was across from our hotel which made it an easy choice. Don't miss monkeypod, especially for happy hour!
google avatar

Yelp
I really like Monkeypod Kitchen. I've come here many times. It's so beautiful inside. It totally feels like you're on vacation. The best deal might be lunch or happy hour but dinner is great too, just more expensive. Our server was really nice and gave us great suggestions. He was really surprised when none of us ordered the Mai Tai as that is one of their specialties. But the food was really good. Very fresh, and not overly filling. We had a fun time with friends and I would recommend coming here.

Yelp
Monkeypod Kitchen in Kapolei is a wonderful farm to table restaurant with chill vibes and great food! My husband and I visited and was sat quickly. We heard so many great things about this spot and many YouTubers who visit Aulani recommend this spot. The most memorable thing of the restaurant happens to be the most random thing... the Le Creuset Salt + Pepper Shakers! IM OBSSEESSSSEDDDDD with Le Creuset and seeing this was so awesome, especially since there are no locations of this company on island. I ordered the Kailua Pork Pizza and it was delicious! I loved the crust and Neapolitan style pizza. My husband got fish and chips and we ordered the Banana Cream Pie for dessert.
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
This place has the best vibes and is a good spot for both small or large parties - good overall pick while in Hawaii. In comparison to a couple years back, I felt like the food + price for the portions really wasn't that great this time around (unfortunately). We got the fish tacos and fish sandwich and the fish sandwich was very tiny (around $23) and did not come with a side (fries cost extra). It was so small, my boyfriend could have ordered three of them. Tacos were decent portion but I just felt the flavor lacked on some of their items since I was here last! However, service was perfect - we had an absolutely wonderful time and service could not have been any better! To top it off, we sat outside on the patio and they had live music. Great spot for vibes and also don't forget to try their Mai Tai's!
google avatar

Yelp
Service was great!!! It was my birthday so they brought out desserts that looked amazing! I could not partake as they had no gluten free ones. I thought they had more gluten free options but they were limited which was a bummer. The service and food that my party ordered was really good. Just hope they get more gluten free options going forward.

Yelp
Not bad, food & service was just ok, there were a lot of flies yuck. my main problem is PARKING, no validation, I parked & came out to a citation on vehicle as you need to have a reservation to park there...What! So never return!
google avatar

Brian O.

Yelp
Monkeypod Kitchen at Kapolei was highly recommended by a coworker--and for good reason: their mai tai! It's the perfect balance of strength and sweetness, and after a couple you'll definitely be calling an Uber. Food-wise, we went with the wood-roasted chicken wings (a must-try, flavorful and satisfying) but skipped the saimin suggestion and ordered the fish tacos instead. They were tasty and fresh, though the portion size left us wanting a bit more. What really stood out was the service and the atmosphere. Friendly staff, live music, and the tropical scenery created the kind of welcoming island vibe you hope for on vacation. Since this was our very first stop before checking into our stay, it set the tone for a great trip.
google avatar

Carrie G.

Yelp
Great service but the food is mediocre at best and the ambiance is like eating in a parking lot surrounded by flies and birds. The staff are very friendly and attentive and great at what they do. That's about the only thing this place has going for it. Parking is a small paid lot with rates higher than Waikīkī if you can believe it. And they don't validate. We paid $8.40 for an hour and a half! But it was happy hour and aloha Friday so what the heck? We got a table outside and were immediately SWARMED by flies. And those annoying dumb little zebra doves that just get all up in your business. There's not great airflow and there's no view, you're just under these umbrellas that cook you in the sun as it shifts in the sky. There's not enough fly swatter helicopters for each table so we had to wait for one to be available 1/2 way thru our meal. Even if you sit inside the place is wide open so there's no a/c. The chicken wings were undercooked and tough. The seasoning was on point but you really had to fight the bone to get it to part with the meat. $22 or $11 HH. The lamb sausage pizza had a terrible crust. Burnt and dry edges and floppy and undercooked in the middle. Toppings lacked flavor. It needed onions or something to give it some texture. $14 for HH. The burger was ok, nice fresh bun and tasty meat but it's $21 and then they charge $3-4 extra for a small portion of add on fries. They make a mean mai tai. I tried a "white walker" tiki drink with gin, like a piña colada and it was gross. Our server asked how it was and I said "I wish I ordered a second mai tai instead and he offered to switch it out which I really appreciated. I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to return but if I was staying nearby and could walk there I'd go for HH. Otherwise it's a tourist trap and you don't even get to enjoy island vibes or a view or air conditioning for that.

Yelp
3.5/5, 3 for the food. Extra points for the service and there was nice live music at night. Service is very nice and the food is fine, but not my favorite and overpriced in some things. Got the lobster deviled eggs which were $22 - tasted nice, but it's literally two eggs split apart with a little bit of lobster on top. I also got the cheese burger and added avocado - but the burger itself had a coleslaw I didn't like and then it didn't have a lot of flavor. The burger also doesn't come with fries and it's already like $25, so a bit steep. lamb chops had a soy sauce type of marinade and those were better with a nice cornbread cake on the side. It's a fine place to eat, but I'd suggest getting the pizza instead.
google avatar

Dallas J.

Yelp
I had a fantastic experience at Monkeypod Kitchen in Ko Olina! The commitment to farm-to-table quality really shines through in the food. We loved the grilled cornbread and Kalua pig pizza, which was fresh and flavorful. The famous Mai Tai with the honey-lilikoi foam definitely lives up to the hype--it's a must-order! The service was excellent; our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and timed everything perfectly despite the restaurant being busy. The open-air ambiance is the perfect mix of upscale and casual island vibes, and the live music added such a great energy to the evening without being too loud. Highly recommend for anyone staying in Ko Olina!
google avatar

L N.

Yelp
The Monkey mai tai are soooo good. We came during happy hour and had a few. That foam on the top, yes please. To be honest, I don't recall the food being spectacular or worth it but I'd go back for the drinks anytime.
google avatar

Darryl N Maria R.

Yelp
Pie + Shovel Spoon they give you = Rock hard crust -Tried Coconut and Banana Cream Pie -Kinda bland, not at all what we were expecting. Meh. Service -Waited at least 10 mins after sitting for someone to acknowledge us. Ambiance -Noisy, barely hear guy singing on other side of restaurant Food -Kale salad was unbelievably yummy! -Fried Saimin was ok -Lobster deviled eggs good
google avatar

Monica S.

Yelp
Be sure to try: Ali'i Margarita, Lobster Deviled Eggs, Taro Ravioli, Vegan Tortilla Soup, Fresh Island Fish Sandwich, Vegan Tortilla Soup and don't forget the Chocolate Cream Pie!! Service, atmosphere, and location are 10/10. Skip the Coca Cola as it tastes flat, but I found that to be the case at most restaurants in Hawaii.

Yelp
My family and I ate two meals here during our Aulani stay. Our first meal was for my niece's 16th birthday and our first day in Hawaii. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server let us know happy hour was ending soon so we got a few drinks and apps in before ordering our mains. We ordered wings and fries to start. I had the bulgogi tacos and my sister had the Mac nut crusted fish. We enjoyed everything and they gave my niece her pick of pie for her birthday. She chose strawberry! The second time we came back was our last dinner and we came a littler later in the evening around 9pm. I ordered the pork and pineapple pizza, my sister got the fish tacos and my niece got the avacado salad. Everything was delicious and we ordered the banana creme pie to take back to our room. We really enjoyed the food and outdoor patio dining. We look forward to coming back on our next Hawaii vacation.

Yelp
We were looking for a change of scenery for dinner while staying at a hotel across the street and easily made a reservation online for our party of 5. It's outdoor seating but shaded and they offer fans to keep the flies away. There was live music, the musician was soooo good! We really enjoyed listening to him while enjoying our meal. We ordered the lobster deviled eggs as our appetizer and it was good, 4/5 maybe needing a little more flavor or seasoning perhaps. Also ordered the wings 3/5- we have family from Buffalo, NY and so most other wings don't measure up. I ordered the fish and chips and my fish was a bit dry but the fries were so good! Overall, service was great and our server was very attentive and checked in with us regularly. Overall, we enjoyed the vibes and proximity as well as the different menu options.
google avatar

Jennifer R.

Yelp
Not a lot of gluten free options. My server was friendly to have me navigate the breakfast menu. I had eggs, bacon and fresh fruit. Healthy. My husband had their specialty pancakes. He went back multiple times and brought his friends because he loved them so much!
google avatar

Scott G.

Yelp
Monkypods in Kapolei never disappoints. Went there for some drinks and pupus and to listen to live music. We decided to share the Hamakua Wild Mushroom with Truffle Oil Pizza., which was really good. We sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive and friendly. The have plenty of parking and you pay by app. Check them out when you're in Koolina. Aloooooooooha and happy eating.
google avatar

Sam O.

Yelp
The best food in the Ko Olina area! Indoor-outdoor atmosphere is really cool (except the flies and birds) and they have live music! The Virgin Mai tai was a disappointment - only tasted like POG juice. The fish & chips and bulgogi tacos were amazing!
google avatar

Myrna G.

Yelp
Food was delicious!! Our server, was very friendly and attentive to us. He had great recommendations on the menu. Not pictured is the manfuego cocktail which i liked better than the mai tai, however, this was also one of the best mai tais i've had. Macadamia nut crusted fish is their most popular dish and for good reason!
google avatar

Steph C.

Yelp
When we arrived to the parking lot, we didn't realize you now had to pay for parking. But, it was easy to pay for using the QR Code provided. We were greeted with a warm welcome when checking in for our reservation, and needed to wait a little while to be seated. It seemed busy when we got there. We were seated upstairs and appreciated that our table was in the middle and not in a tight space. Our server was great and food was served at a decent time!

Yelp
We had a reservation at Monkeypod after our flight in from California. I pushed it a bit just because we weren't sure if we wanted to rest up and change for dinner or go straight there. We ended up changing our clothes without resting but were really tired for our 6:30 pm reservation as it was 9:30 PT back home. We ordered a Fresh Squeezed beer ($10) and a fresh pineapple juice pint ($9) to start. The pineapple juice was so refreshing and delicious, but pricey! I decided on the Poke Tacos ($24) and the Garlic Truffle Oil Fries ($13). The poke tacos were perfect. The wonton shells were crispy and yummy. The tuna was seasoned well, although my husband likes to dump soy sauce on everything Asian food related so he asked for additional soy sauce which was provided. The fries were disappointing to say the least. They were a little soggy and I barely got any garlic truffle flavor from them. I did have a sinus cold but I tasted the other foods fine so I did not I lose my sense of smell or taste. The fries were bland. The house-made ketchup was a nice touch. My husband did not have much of an appetite so he barely ate. It was a little pricey but it's Hawaii. Our server was fine. We were just tired and wanted to go back to the room to rest after a long travel day.

Juan M.

Yelp
This place was awesome! Food, Cocktails and beer was great. But the customer service was even better. Alexis and Jaz were amazing and when I come back to Aulani I look forward to seeing them again. This place was great all around with live music during happy hour which set a great atmosphere.
google avatar

AmberAyame T.

Yelp
We love this location bc it really feels like you're eating in a treehouse. Happy hour deals for the food items are really good! It's walkable fr all of the main resorts. Service is really good. They aren't good about refilling the ice teas etc, so losing a star for that bc we had to ask multiple times for more water and refills on ice teas. Being fr the restaurant and bar industry, I know that a table should really never have to ask for that, but once a table has to ask for refills, they shouldn't have to ask again, much less 4-5 times. Good food, good location and nice people though.

Yelp
We were so blown away by Merriman's on Big Island and finally decided to try Monkeypod after learning that it was owned by Merriman's. Maybe our expectations were too high but we were not impressed despite hearing so many good things about this place. The ambiance was nice on a Saturday afternoon with live music but their food and service were underwhelming. We got their Kailua pork and pineapple pizza, which was okay. Their crust is very thin and we thought it was okay? Same with their chicken wings just okay. Did not like their broccoli salad and they let me change it to the kale salad, which was good but way too drenched in their sauce. Their wheat beer was good though! They also don't validate parking. All in all I think it's a tourist trap among the resorts there. Again, the ambiance was nice for folks who are visiting, but if you are just looking for good food at a fair price, there are better options. Waiting for the Merriman's in Honolulu to reopen so we can try it!

Scilla M.

Yelp
Restaurant was totally inconsistent, so guessing that can only be attributed to the chefs in the kitchen. 11/07 5 pm. 11/13 7 pm Wait time. 5.0. 4.9 Service. 5.0. 5.0 Ambiance. 4.8. 4.8 Food. 5.0. 2.0 Value. 4.8. 1.0 First meal was fabulous. Tried the lobster devil eggs, which were tasty, but a little pricey. Had the avocado & cucumber salad ... literally scrumptious. Ate every bite (w/o jalapeños). Dressing was delicious!! Cheeseburger, cooked perfectly & shared by 2. Truffle fries ... perfection. Nicely browned & crunchy on the outside, pillowy inside. Second meal.. avocado & cucumber salad... no taste..thought maybe not enough dressing? Asked waitress for more.. added it.... Nope. Just no taste. 2 people had ordered it & ended up eating some of the truffle oil/mushroom pizza (tasty enough, but lukewarm at best when delivered to the table). We'd also ordered the truffle fries cus they were so good the first time we ate there. This time they were limp, soggy & cold. Asked waitress to have them re-done (we rarely send food back). They arrived hot, but still soggy & limp. Didn't eat many.. Sooooo.. Monkey Pod can be great if you have the right kitchen staff, but a really bad experience (& a waste of $$$$) if you don't.

Yelp
Delicious and tasty!! Wife and I had lunch here last Friday and it was wonderful. The food was delicious! We had the lobster deviled eggs for starters and they were so yummy! Delicious chunks of lobster on a creamy deviled egg. So yummy! I had the Mahi Mahi grilled fish sandwich with fries and it was fresh tasting with crispy greens. This sandwich was delicious! My wife had the grilled fish tacos and said they were super tasty! Fresh fish and so yummy! The service was wonderful and spot on! The ambiance is very comfortable and I wished we could have stayed there all day eating and drinking! Great place to go!!

Yelp
Our dine-in experience was amazing! We arrived for our reservation and were seated right on time. Service was prompt, and our food came out incredibly fast. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. They even offered buttered noodles for our kids at no cost, and they brought them out right away with our appetizers, they really get it! We were celebrating our 4-year-old's birthday, and they made her feel so special, even surprising her with a complimentary pie and a candle for dessert. It was such a thoughtful touch. Another bonus: they offer happy hour! We enjoyed discounted drinks (which were delicious) and a great deal on our pizza. We were so happy with our experience that we ordered takeout the very next day. We were a little bummed to find out that happy hour pricing doesn't apply to takeout, but we understood. The takeout was just as tasty, but the portions felt noticeably smaller. I'm honestly torn between giving 4 or 5 stars, mainly because the $17 salad we ordered via take out felt pretty skimpy (photo attached). Overall, though, it was a fantastic experience, and we'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Great food, good service, and overall wonderful dinner. There was live music when we were there for dinner which we enjoyed. The kids liked their meals too. The best part is the Monkeypod Mai Tai!
google avatar

DJ P.

Yelp
Everything was great! Kids and adults loved it all. Good portions. Will come again. Service was slower than we would've liked, but that's just because it was packed and lots happening. Didn't deter us :)

Yelp
Our last nights stay at beautiful Marriott's Ko Olina in Oahu we decided to have dinner at Longhi's. Such a lovely restaurant with an outstanding view and great atmosphere with lots of menu options. Sitting underneath the beautiful moonlight of Hawaiian skies was a perfect experience with my husband. The beautiful Koi Fish pond surrounding the restaurant makes for a perfect spot. Our Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection! The meal was mouthwatering and the service provided by the restaurant staff was superb. We will definitely visit again on our next visit to Hawaii Oahu Marriotts Ko Olina!

Yelp
We got a 10 percent discount for getting takeout as Marriott guests, but I'd actually recommend dining in if you have time as the atmosphere looks great and it's a short drive or walk from any of the ko olina resorts. We ordered an avocado / cucumber salad as well as fish and chips and both were on the mark. The salad in particular was very fresh - a little on the small side but they made up for it adding some extra bread for free. The fish and chips tasted like they were made with a meatier tasting local fish like mahi or ono rather than the traditional cod / haddock / pollock type meat with a flakier and softer taste. Service was fast and friendly during peak dinner hour, probably the best somewhat casual sit down option in ko Olina.

Yelp
Beautiful venue; however the first table we were taken to had fresh bird droppings on each chair which the hostess didn't seem to care about. We asked to relocate to the bar since it was covered and a less likely chance of having the same issue. Food was good, service was definitely "meh". Not sure we will return as there are other great options in the area.

Yelp
We had a large party (15) reservation and the table was ready on time. This was a huge plus! Food was good, and frankly we probably ordered too many appetizers. Left with leftovers - the tacos (bulgogi and fish) came with 3 each and we left with 1 each. The fries were really good - tasted like fresh potato fried with a variety of crispiness. All the food was a bit pricey, but we are in a tourist area, so it was expected. We will come again

Yelp
We came here for some food while visiting the Disney Resort Aulani. Luckily it's just a short walk. Our server Jen was really nice and friendly. She was able to confirm which items were free of allergens for my nephew. I got the mushroom pizza. It did take some time for our food to come out. My pizza was ok, the crust was slightly soggy. There was a hint of truffle, not too overwhelming. I think mostly everyone enjoyed their food. It's reasonably priced. The restrooms were clean. I really liked the soap, it smelled amazing. Don't know if I would return but overall it was an ok experience.

Yelp
The food here was amazing! Definitely a cute date spot, open air, and has some of the most attentive servers. Our favorites were the Cast Iron Shrimp, House Made Gnocchi, and Banana Cream Pie. These were soooo good! Open air in the summer might be a hit or miss, I would recommend dressing light because I was wearing a light, long skirt and it was still hot. Overall the experience was great, only nick of the evening was our serving getting too engrossed in a conversation with another table he had us waiting on our bill for at least 15 min past us finishing the dessert...

Yelp
Our waiter was soooo nice. Ugh I forget his name but he gave us a banana cream pie on the house and that was just so nice of him. And that pie was SO good. One of the best banana cream pies I have ever had. Thank you! My bf and I shared the pork bulgogi tacos and the pork and pineapple pesto pizza. Both were so flavorful and delicious. I like that it is farm to table. Very fresh ingredients you get! They also have live music and lil twirly machines to keep flies away. Really enjoyed our meal. It is a bit pricey, but you do get what you pay for!
