Monkgate Guest Accommodation

What a treasure! I stayed here for my son's graduation for 2 nights. The owner's were very welcoming, informative and friendly nothing was any bother. The room was clean, comfortable and homely. The ensuite was roomy and had constant hot water. It was a 5 minute walk from the Minster and centre of York. There was a great choice of breakfast catering for vegetarians aswell. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend this guesthouse in a heartbeat.

Located within walking distance of the town centre, warm, comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The hosts have good local knowledge and are happy to make suggestions for places to visit. Recommended.
