Incredible experience! It was my first time surfing and Omar did a great job at explaining everything in detail for the first part. We went to a great spot for beginners and I was able to stand on three waves :) the instructor was super sweet and overall incredible (bonus points for his dog that came with us) I would highly recommend, especially if you’ve never surfed before!

We had the most amazing time at mono loco surf school! Omar spent time with us in the morning and taught us all about how to stand up, he drew graphs and pictures to explain and it really helped!! We all stood up and our never ever stood up too catching numerous waves. On top of that they took us by boat to the most amazing surf spot called wizard beach where there were great waves and a sandy beach break so we didn't have to worry about the reef. This day goes down as one of my best days ever! The surf location was unbeatable, and one of the most beautiful pristine beaches I've laid eyes on. I would highly recommend mono loco for the experience and the great teachers!

We have not taken surf lessons here yet but love this spot for the laid back atmosphere, awesome coffee, and amazing people! Everyone is incredibly friendly! Delicious açaí bowls, sandwiches, and smoothies as well! We even met a mom/daughter duo who are from Amsterdam and it turns out we stayed in the hotel in Amsterdam a few weeks ago where the daughter works! Small world! This is a great place to chill by yourself or meet all of the wonderful people who wander in!
