Monomoy Island Excursions

Excellent tour of the harbors nearby! Monomoy island and the seal tour was fantastic! Kids and adults all loved it. The staff was so friendly, from check-in to the tour. Great work to the crew! Parking is free and convenient. Would recommend getting there early, or staying after, for a beautiful view with a snack or breakfast/lunch at the cafe (right by the dock). Also, shop the local artist stands afterwards. I bought some beautiful hand painted shells.

Friendly crew, beautiful scenery and so many seals basking in the sun! I loved the size of the boat and the commentary was the perfect blend of fun and interesting facts with plenty of quiet time to take in the views, chat with companions and soak up the good vibes. Highly recommend!

Really spectacular views and the captain/narrator were excellent. We got to see seals and plenty of wildlife on the ride. Price was fair for what it was worth and we lucked out with excellent weather. Would highly recommend booking this excursion if you are looking to get on the water for a daytime cruise!

Normally, we take our grandkids on a whale watch each summer. But this, we went to see the seals on Monomoy Island. And it was great. We especially liked that the tour was narrated by a trained naturalist. She told us about the Gray seals that swam along the shore and over the Monomoy flats. In the fall you can find them relaxing on the outer beaches as well. And she told us that the lighthouse we saw may have been used by a rum runner during prohibition. This made a great tour unforgettable.

We had such a blast on this seal excursion! Nicole & Capt. Pete were extremely knowledgeable, but not in a boring way! They made the whole experience exciting! We will definitely be recommending this to others & be back!

My wife and I spent 7 days in New England. This was by far both of our favorite part of the entire trip. Captain Pete can drive a boat and our tour guide knew all the facts. I think her name was Nancy? I’m so sorry if I got that wrong. 10/10 would do it again tomorrow. The views are incredible. The boat is very clean and comfortable.

Had an excursion booked this weekend and it was incredible! We left the little marina on a boat with about 30 other seal freaks like ourselves and the captain plus tour guide gave us all a ton of information about the area, marina, local history in the span of the 75 four! After a little drive to Monomoy Bay, we came up around 50(?) sunbathing Gray Seals! They were so cute and fat, and how they plop around to find a new spot to sunbathe! We would love to come back just to get up close like today again in the future and not wanting to see any attacks but definitely have the off chance of seeing any sharks!

Great time and knowledgeable guides! We went for an early October trip. There were so many seals and we got really close without disturbing them! It was also beautiful to get to see Cape Cod from the water and hear about the interesting history. Also, we all thought the ride was just long enough--perfectly timed. Just remember to bring extra layers (and maybe even a small blanket). It is windy on the water (as you should expect). Would definitely go again!
