Monopol

We were just in Katowice for 24 hours and we would have loved to stay longer just to enjoy the hotel more. Everything was great from the location to comfy bed, shower amenities and spa area.

I prefer it for my business trips. It is a very nice hotel, I am always very satisfied. The staff is very helpful. The design is already wonderful, the breakfast and the food presentations in general are excellent. Definitely recommended.

This hotel is really lovely and charming in a great location. The rooms are incredibly spacious and the bathrooms are modern with nice hot water. The hotel overall is clean with excellent staff all around. My only complaint is about the restaurant. The breakfast charge was ~$45 Canadian per day and I did not know this until I received the invoice which was charged in PLN. For coffee, yogurt and fruit that is highway robbery! When I complained I was told I could have ordered off the a la carte menu as well, for an omelette, scrambled eggs, etc but really, I cannot think of any breakfast that is worth $45!!

I had an awesome breakfast with a variety of delicious options, the juicer is amazing for ginger and apple shots. In the evening we ate at the restaurant and that was the best meal I have ever actually had. The staff were incredibly passionate and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The facilities were top-notch, offered everything I needed. Plus, the location was perfect, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Highly recommend!

The Monopol is an outstanding hotel. The accommodations are excellent, and the breakfast and dining service is of the highest quality. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Monopol while on business in Katowice.

What a fabulous city centre hotel this is. It's absolutely beautiful. From being greeted in Reception on arrival to leaving 3 days later it was perfect. The staff are amazing and work so hard to make the guest experience a 5* positive one. A mix of Art Deco meets modern the hotel has a really fabulous vibe about it. ||Bedroom: Loads of space. Clean. Modern. Quiet (even with a Christmas party going on in the main area). Very comfortable bed. Spare pillows. ||Bathroom: Huge. Loads of towels. Premium products. Great shower. Bathrobe and slippers. ||Breakfast: Loads of choice on buffet. Cooked to order selection was amazing. ||Cafe/lounge: Friendly staff. Delicious cakes. Perfect Irish coffee.||Spa: A treat in a city centre hotel. Really nice facility.||Other: Beautifully decorated for Christmas. ||Exploring: This hotel is perfectly place to tour the city. Good transport links. ||Nothing to dislike. Great price for a quality stay. We loved it.

Very pleasant hotel in great central location. Spotless room with beautiful wooden floor and stone bathroom. Breakfast a little underwhelming but solid. Not impressed with high volume wedding disco in the main reception hall from 10PM until 4AM (!) just meters from my room, but presumably that doesn’t happen every night??
