Very unpleasant experience. We bought several drinks and snacks, but the staff didn’t seem willing to help and made us feel unwelcome as tourists. When I politely asked for a bag to carry everything, the worker refused twice, even though bags were clearly available. The atmosphere felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. I won’t be returning — but I’m giving 2 stars because they did have everything we needed.

There is a guy on the staff who every time I am at the store follows me around and today he blocked me in a lane at the cashier checkout and forced himself past me while touching my body. This is absolutely unacceptable and disgusting that there is someone on the staff that does this to young women. I want to report this to a manager as a formal complaint of sexual harassment of your clients. Disgusting disgraceful behaviour

I had a very humiliating experience at the MONOPRIX store (next to McDonald’s) during my business trip. Right after entering the store, I bought two packs of candies and completed my payment—it took less than three minutes. However, as I was leaving, a tall male guard standing near the Halloween section suddenly stopped me and demanded that I open my locked suitcase, which had nothing to do with my shopping. He had clearly seen me enter the store just a minute earlier with the same suitcase, yet he insisted in an arrogant and disrespectful way. I showed him the receipt and what I bought, but he still refused to listen. I had to open my suitcase in front of other customers, which was extremely humiliating and felt discriminatory. Eventually, a female staff member came over, spoke to him in French, and he let me go—without a single word of apology. I am deeply disappointed by this unprofessional behavior. That guard became the first and last impression of Monoprix for me, and it was a terrible one. I sincerely ask Monoprix management to educate him about professional conduct and respect toward customers. Such behavior seriously damages the brand’s image and customer trust.

Rudest most unhelpful store assistant ever!! I asked for a product, she gestured “over there” continued on her phone, I couldn’t find it and asked her to help me “oh we don’t have that actually” I found it… passed her by again, she was still on her phone!

Was there on vacation so went in on various occasions. As far as the department store goes they have multiple items and can pick up just about anything. Security was always at the door and very friendly. On our last day there ran in around 11 am to pick up a snacks for airport there were 3 people stocking and had all the boxes on the only table to eat. My husband sat on a corner so we could use a small corner to drink and they ignored us. Other customers also tried to shop for items and they ignored the fact people wanted to purchase. Again it was around 11 am I just think they should stock early so people can shop. (Picture taken AFTER we made a spot to sit)

We stayed at a hotel nearby and this store was on a very convenient distance. We bought few personal items and liked the service.

We bought a small item, realized it was the wrong item and tried to return it unopened, and with the receipt...not to mention he had to remember us because it was within the same hour. Not only would the gruff man who sold it to us unwilling to exchange or provide a credit, he could not have been more rude if his life depended on it.

Staying in a nearby hotel on Rue Avre, this was the perfect place for me to pick up any personal items needed or groceries. There are delicious salads, sandwiches, bread, and pastries you can buy to take for a picnic or eat in your hotel room. Staff very helpful and friendly. I visited multiple times.

Reminds me of a Target sort of store. Two stories high, apparently beauty and clothes on the ground level, and groceries on the first floor. Ended up not buying anything because checkout line was way too long and slow. Maybe because it was Sunday and every other store was closed, but felt this location was very "disorganized"

This is similar to Target in the U.S., offering a wide range of options from clothing to food, all at affordable prices and easy to navigate, making it a great place to shop in Paris, France.

The store reminds me of Target at home. You can purchase clothes, shoes, toiletries, home goods, and of course food. The store is well stocked and organized. The service was great.

I love Monoprix! This store was located close to our hotel and contained everything from clothing, housewares, skincare and food including wine. The quality and selection of goods was quite inviting. I Like others have said, it reminded me of Target. It's unfortunate that I had limited time to peruse through everything. Monoprix a great place to buy French skincare brands such as La Roche Posay, Avene, and Caudalie. In many cases, prices for these products were at least 30-40% less expensive than what one would find in Canada, with more selection than even Sephora might sell in stores. Needless to say I stocked up on products such as La Roche Posay's Anthelios SPF 50 facial sunblocks. Staff were pleasant. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

This place reminds me of Target, just with a more impressive food and beverage section. The ground floor has clothing, makeup, toiletries, children's items, housewares, a sushi bar, a patisserie, an impressive selection of books, and more. I was able to snag a few chic t-shirts with French phrases on them, a cozy pair of pajama pants and an adorable nightshirt. Upstairs is the grocery area. There is a deli counter, a cheese section, a chocolate section, a substantial wine/cognac/brandy section, non alcoholic beverages, as well as other food items. Overall, this store is like a one-stop-shop. I had to drop the rating one star because of an incident I had with a member of the security staff. There are several fitting rooms on the ground floor, and as I was getting ready to exit mine, an old lady was waiting impatiently. Undaunted, I opened the curtain and was collecting the items I planned to purchase when a male security guard walked up to the fitting room, poked his head in, and asked me if I was finished. I gave him a stern "Non!" as well as a dirty look for having the audacity to approach a fitting room that was still occupied, whether or not the curtain was open. He made some comment trying to rush me alone, at which point I had to turn into the stereotypical ugly American and give him some choice words in English regarding how I'll be finish as soon as I'm finished. That was incredibly rude and disrespectful of him, and he's very lucky that I didn't slap him.

The employees are friendly. The merch is clearly marked and the prices are reasonable. You can get anything from clothing to makeup, jewelry, socks, wine. It's all there!!!

Hustle and bustle in this metro area near our hotel. Has a bit of everything. Good store to go to !

This store has everything....household items such as soaps, cleaning, kitchen to clothing, makeup, etc. This is a definite must when visiting Paris. It's like a mini version of Target. Makes it convenient when visiting and wanting to either purchase some goodies to take back home or to stock up on items for your stay. There are several locations throughout Paris, some bigger than others. This location was 2 stories and even had a chocolate counter.

This place is a lifesaver! They carry everything you can possibly need and want. Great food selection- snacks, prepared foods, freshly squeezed juices, desserts, baguettes.. you name it. They also have clothing should you need to pick up extra items while on your trip. It's the Target of the United States and the Zellers of Canada. Very convenient and priced very well.

These little grocery stores will make your time that much more enjoyable. They have everything you need and of great quality as most foods are in Paris. Gladly enjoying here knowing I am just a walk away from delicious foods and quick meals/water. Stop by here if you need some stuff for a hotel room.

Monoprix is a convenient supermarket with clothes on the first floor, and food upstairs. Head up and explore the market. We stopped in here quite a few times because it was close to the flat we rented. During our stay in Paris we bought cheese, chocolate, yogurt, meats, bread, pate, and cider here. The prices were good and the variety of products was good too. The ready-to-go items in the deli counter looked nice too, but we didn't try any of those. The hours were good too, but I wish it was open a bit later. We ran it close to closing time a few times.

This place was a lifesaver. I was really, super, nasty sick on the first part of my trip to Paris. I literally just sat around in my flat for two days before Roland Garros began. Anyway, I didn't feel like going out to eat, so I came here to get some essentials. They had everything you could possibly want. I was very happy with the selection. They even had fresh milk, which can be an issue in Paris. Although, with that said, more places seem to have the fresh stuff now than before. Also, they take American CCs here including AMEX! They even take swipe cards still, which can be an issue in some spots. Be aware of the closing time. When I was feeling better, I went down to purchase some liquor, but found out they won't let you in within ten minutes of closing. No exceptions!

Super! I have been coming to this place for years when in Paris. This store has great deals, and a nice selection for anyone coming from the land of the dollar, which doesn't go that far in Euroland. The choice of wine, cheese, and bread can translate into great gifts to bring home. Hint, it's nice way to spoil friends, and family on a budget. FYI, coming back to the USA we can only bring cheese that is yellow/hard. Although most of french cheese is not firm, this store has a nice variety of cheese that is in line with Uncle Sam's standards. Amusez-vous bien!

On a recent trip to Paris we frequented quite a few Monoprix. Good value supermarket which met our picnicing needs. We bought cheese, chocolate, yogurt, meats, bread, pate, and cider here. The prices were good and the variety of products was good too.

Excellent Monoprix location. I used to live a few blocks away and would swing by about once a week to pick up groceries. Very convenient location right below the Emile Zola Metro stop on rue du Commerce. They have clothes and drugstore items on the ground floor and then food upstairs. Their selection is great, especially of cheeses and desserts (it is Paris, after all), and prices were far more reasonable than other grocery stores I visited. If you're visiting Paris and want a good meal that's less expensive than you can find at a restaurant, grab food here!

Great grab and go for a delightful picnic at the Eiffel Tower. Great selection of cheeses and meats, breads, some clothing, and cosmetic items too.

This place is awesome. Great selection and the prices are reasonable. I'm sure I'll be going back many times during my vacation. I went to Franprix, which is across the street from my apartment and I wasn't impressed at all. It only had two or three different brands to choose from for each product. Franprix just didn't have the selection as Monoprix. Also, Monoprix has clothing and household products on the first floor. Monoprix is the French version of the USA store Target.
