I enjoyed my stay at mystic hot springs. The tubs were all a great temperature, not too hot or cold. I used the upper and lower ones. It is a unique setup with the springs placed next to the red rocks. It’s placed in a hill, the view of the valley below is nice from there. I also like that you can soak all night, view of the stars is nice. In reading other people’s reviews, the bathrooms could use an upgrade. But it is less expensive to stay at than most of the places I go to in Colorado. I stayed in the cabin, it was very nice, fantastic price for what I got. It was nice having towels ready and the beds made up nice, too. I‘ll definitely go back if I find myself in the area.

I was expecting it to be a little more clean and organized. The water temperature wasn’t really that warm. The walking paths to get to a hot tub were rocky and uncomfortable for your feet. Overall not great!

Google
What a magical spot. We got lucky and caught a thunderstorm the entire time we soaked. There weren’t many people and the air cooled down quite a bit. Highly recommend for a unique adventure!

Google
Not great- The area was very rough. The campground type bathrooms/showers were by the checkin and then you had to walk a dirt and rocky road uphill to get to the springs. The springs were warm/hot but the whole area was super sketchy- We thought we were walking by a junk yard - run down buildings, a man sleeping in a hammock in a shack by the spring tubs, a dog wandering around, etc

Google
Mike was an accommodating host. Waded in the late morning and fell in love with the place. EVERYTHING from the renovated buses you can sleep in, to peacocks running around, the huge fish in the pond, and of course the springs. Really nice during the cold months. Will definitely come back, hopefully for a night in one of the buses and maybe a concert next to their stage they have there !

Google
An extraordinary stop in our RV adventures. The soaking tubs were of various temperatures and we really enjoyed them. There were beautiful views. Only negative is that for $56 for 2 hours, per 2 adults, the paths to the tubs should be in safer condition.

Google
Such a great experience!! We arrived late and called the help desk that got us checked in. The bus we stayed in was amazing! It was very clean and had a fun atmosphere. We were able to go enjoy the springs at 10 pm and walked there from the overnight area. The path was well lit and it was pleasant. There were small stools and rocks to place your things on while you enjoyed the hot water. The water was perfect and the rock formations were gorgeous. We went again the next day and had a similar experience. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun, relaxed weekend getaway. The only reason for not 5 stars was because the website doesn't list what amenities were at the location. We brought extra sheets and pillows just in case, which we didn't need, and a cooler filled with snacks. The location has a microwave and a small refrigerator to store some food. It also comes with showers, running water and bathrooms. It just would have been nice to have a clear outline of what to bring and what is provided.

Google
This is a camp site with a hot springs. The bad reviews I’ve read seem to complain because they didn’t realize what it was. It’s family owned and ran. If you’ve ever camped before, add a hot spring and hippie feel—that’s what you’re getting here. They have hippie buses, RV/van sites, the cabin and tent sites. We stayed in the grow cabin which is so darn cute and has a homey feel. We brought firewood and roasted sausages and s’mores in the evening after our soak time. There’s a nice little community area with an outdoor kitchen and some helpful freebies. (Pictured.) The bath house is right behind the community area and there’s even an outdoor shower area which I’ve only seen rarely at places. Everything was clean, well kept and well used. I don’t mind the older stuff if it’s clean and it adds to the inviting homey feel. They were kind enough to leave us 4 towels in the cabin which was great bc we forgot towels. (We didn’t ask—they come with the rental.) each bed also had a heated blanket which was plugged in and ready to go. I use one at home and enjoyed this very much. The orange around the tubs and everywhere in the springs is from the mineral water but I saw complaints on that too. Will recommend and stay again. Had a great stay!

Yelp
My friends and I stopped by for a session while we were on a long road trip. Overall we had a great time. They have parking and easy access to the check in counter from there. They have bathrooms and dressing rooms near the parking area which is helpful if you're just stopping by and plan to change. It seems they also have the option to stay overnight on the property which seemed very cool. We opted not to since we still had a lot of driving to do. The walk to the pool areas itself wasn't all to bad since we came when it was light out. It was a pretty clear path that lead to the space. There was a large pool, as well as other smaller/individual pools. We very much enjoyed the beautiful view and the very warm spring water. It was a great way to relax and unwind during a long drive with a full car of friends. The price was good for the experience and I'd definitely go back again.

Yelp
This would not be worth driving to alone, but worth at least one visit if you're on your way to St George or surrounding national or state parks. I'd give the tubs alone 5 stars. Such a cool spot to soak and chill. Only problem is if you go as a couple or with a group you're separated by a distance or a rock wall between tubs. If you go alone like I did, it's a perfect spot. There are 3 tubs side by side if you have 2-3 people together. I was the only person there so I had my pick of the litter. There's a large pool that can fit a lot of people but your view is of an old house and an old rectangular pool. You park at the check in building and walk maybe a quarter mile, if that, up the road and go through a yard with peacocks and geese. Luckily there wasn't a smell, of the fowl or the sulphuric smell of a typical hot spring. The geese were squawking half the time I was there. And the overall views from the views were unspectacular. If they improved the walkways and paths and surrounding areas of the tubs, this would be a 4 stars review.

Yelp
Good location need some road signs to guide you to office Little more paved surface to get to pool and tubs Staff was friendly too

Alicia A.

Yelp
This was a terrible waste of our money and time. We extended our trip home by two hours just to experience the "IG famous" Mystic... the pools and tubs were cold/lukewarm, we could barely last 15 minutes and decided to take the $50+ dollar loss and hit the road back home. So disappointed and will never be going back. The town and springs are run down and the sounds of the screeching geese made it very uncomfortable. We're so bummed, think twice before making the trip and spending the most I've ever spent at a hot springs.

Nycole R.

Yelp
If your expectations are set properly, you will really like Mystic Hot Springs. But if you go into it anticipating or hoping for something that it is not, you'll surely be disappointed. My wife and I booked an overnight stay in a little cabin and also bought soaking passes for that night. We found the cabin to be delightful-it was comfortable and cozy-and the night we stayed there was a huge rainstorm. It was sooo cool to listen to the rain on the tin roof while we laid in bed. There is a shared bathroom (this is a campground, not a hotel), but it wasn't too far of a walk. The hot springs are located up the hill behind the campground a bit. It's not a huge walk, but in the dark it can be a little tricky to navigate. Some lighting and signage along the path would be helpful. Once we found it, though, we enjoyed a leisurely soak in the warm water. Overall, this place is a rustic retreat with a nice hippie vibe.

Yelp
I want to warn other travelers that Mystic Hot Springs charges an exorbitant fee of $50/night for each pet. This is a 50% increase to cost of the reservation. Furthermore, accommodations available to pets are extremely limited.

Kalpesh K.

Yelp
Came to check this place out on the way back to CA. Meeka was helpful. You need reservations to use the hot spring pools, $25/per person for 2 hours. We came mid day on a Friday and were lucky enough to snag up an available time slots. Towels are available to rent @$2/towel. There is 2 big pools next to one another, both waters were murkey in color. If you went up another level climbing up some rock steps you have another 5 single tubs (bath tubs) to choose from where the hot natural spring water feeds into from a chanel made to direct the water. Although we just used the hot springs, you can also stay here in one of their rustic buses which are old and rustic on the outside, but remodeled into bedrooms in the inside. You also can bring you own RV and just rent a space. There are shower facilities and a small store that sells clothing and gifts. Even though we had a good time a few suggestions I have is either letting people come and go as they please to the natural baths instead of having 2 hr time slots or increase the time slot. When adults come here to relax, they don't want to be on a time clock. This place has a lot of potential; they can add way more baths/tubs and make it even nicer to attract more people, but it seems like they are happy with the traffic they get already. @kaliking806 #ViBN P.S. reservations for the use of the springs are needed way in advance, we just goylt lucky. With more bath tubs added to the property, you could have more room to take in people who are just passing through like we were and give them the opportunity to check the place out and be on their way.

Yelp
This place is so eclectic and funky and fun! We stayed in the New Moon Bus and had a soaking pass from 4-6, which perfectly timed the sunset and the starry night for gazing. The tubs against the cliffs are the money spot. The water is perfect and if you want a little more heat, just lean back against the water trickling in from above. I slept really well, which is a sign of great mineral content! Go with an open mind and appreciate this wonderful gem for the love and effort that has been poured into it. Bring a sharpie and add your words of wisdom to the bus ceiling! 10/10 for us

Megan S.

Yelp
This place is undoubtedly beautiful. You can see the red spring up on the mountain as you enter the valley. The check in building is super cute and has some artsy gifts and bathrooms. You can tell the people in charge are putting alot of love into it. I loved hearing the peacocks as we walked up the trail. Ok-now let me be honest-I'm a bit of a germaphobe and while I did find the warm springs very soothing I was not brave enough to dip in more than my feet. I had a great time wandering around the property soaking in the views and cool animals. If the buses aren't your. vibe there is a super cute little Inn down the street.

Yelp
Run down, expensive and kinda dangerous! We stayed at the RV site for 2 nights. The electric box for our site was hazardous. It was missing part of the plug. We used the one next to us which was also missing a chunk of the plug (what the heck are people doing that part of a 30 amp plug is missing, I have no idea?)? Lots of run down busses, trailers and random junk. It's overpriced. We paid for our site, paid a per person fee and then on top of it we needed to pay and schedule a soaking time. 3 separate charges each day. I would suggest allowing the guests staying at your location to have soaking included in the package and allow unlimited soaking after 9pm for your guests. If we wanted to soak more than the 2 hr time slot, we have to pay again! No way would we be paying $50 per person to soak! Absolutely ridiculous! So we found a free hot spring locally and enjoyed it immensely! I'm giving an extra star because it is a beautiful location! The spring is very cool! It just needs a little TLC and a new pricing structure.

Brittany K.

Yelp
My family loved the hot springs and staying the night in the Nature Bus. The hot springs offered a big "pool" that was the perfect temperature for children and also another "pool" that was hot for adults. The bathtub hot springs were hot as well. The bus was very comfortable, clean and had 2 heaters that kept us toasty even in February.

Jessica F.

Yelp
Such a cool place! After 5 days of hiking this was much needed! Easy to make a reservation and easy to check in. The changing area/bathrooms could use a touch up but the buses and vans were cool. The soaking tubs were fantastic, each one had a different temperature so you can find the right one. The tubs on top have the best views. You do have to take 10-12 steps up on the hillside to reach the top so make sure your wearing shoes you feel comfortable walking up uneven ground. Otherwise the host was super friendly, asking about the temps and even got a sweet photo for us. A must stop!

Patrice Z.

Yelp
Dirtbags unite! If looking for a chill dirtbag atmosphere which are my favorite, this is your place! If you are looking for emasculate sleeping arrangements and bathrooms - this probably would be your worst nightmare. Check it was a bit odd- GPS takes you to a gate that is closed but you are to cal a number to check it. They don't do reservations over the phone. Day soakers park at the bathhouse and walk past the gate, past the abandoned Hot Rocks Restaurant which is now converted to the owner's home to the hot springs around back. There are two large pools and then 5 tubs. Varying temperatures all HOT, the coolest being in the shade. Campers check in similarly and then go to their campsite or the bus they booked. They really should put a name on the buses to make it easier to find. Buses are old and re furbished- still rustic. The futon in the Other Bus had a duck taped leg which didn't stay for us. Expect some broken windows and boards on the windows in the bus. My bus had a chain lock on the inside. It was eclectic and I loved it. The bed was SO COMFORTABLE!! There was a heater next to the bus and the bed was equipped with a bed warmer so cold desert nights weren't a thing. Shared space- there is a shared space with kitchen like items- I was able to make popcorn and get water. Showers are like a giant locker room with five shower heads in a giant room (womens) and only one curtain separating you from the door. Two bathroom stalls with curtains for doors. Not handicap accessible.

Yelp
Interesting hot springs experience in between two of the Mighty 5. This was day 2 of us visiting the National parks and we had already hiked more than 15 miles, so it was a much welcomed soak for our tired muscles. When we first arrived, can't lie, it was giving us horror flick vibes....office was closed, we didn't see anyone around, place looked a little run down, and then out popped someone on staff to confirm our reservation and give us some instructions - park, change, bathrooms directions, how much time we had, etc. The pools and tubs were a short walk away from the parking lot. The tubs were not hot when we first got there, so he made an adjustment and a few minutes later, fresh, hot, mineral-rich, spring water started to fill the tubs in a continuous flow of water. The tubs had varying temperatures, between 99-110 degrees Fahrenheit, and we had 2 hours to soak. Because of the reservation system they have in place (required), it never felt crowded. We had a large enough group that we had the tubs to ourselves for most of the time. Like the other reviewers have mentioned, the place has a lot of potential. To manage your expectations, it is not fancy..and very no frills. The bathrooms are a little run down, the showers are communal, the grounds are untidy, and there's a lot of random blight, buuutttt I'm glad we stopped in.

Danny J.

Yelp
Water was hot and perfect. It felt like an exclusive getaway. I took two 6 year olds and they also loved it.

Angie G.

Yelp
We had a lovely overnight stay in the Other One Bus in April. We got there late after flight delays out of Las Vegas and Mike was so helpful! The bus was super cozy and perfect after a long day of travel. We woke up the next morning to peacocks walking outside the bus and a view of the mountains. That was pretty awesome. The hot springs were everything we hoped for and even more awesome than we imagined. Can't wait to visit again!

Patti Sue T.

Yelp
Clean. Water is checked often. Our favorite two tubs are at the top of the hill--hot, hot just like we like it! There's a great burger place on Main Street called Bullies.

Rachel R.

Yelp
While we were in Utah this past weekend celebrating my sister's 30th birthday (and hiking everyday) - we had heard that there were amazing hot springs in the area. After some research, we decided to come to Mystic Hot Springs... and I am SO glad we did! It felt so private and secluded, unlike some of the trails we had done leading up to this. The water felt amazing and the temperature was just right!! It was perfect for our sore bodies after a couple days of hiking! I had read that this place was the best location to look at the night sky and see the milky way, but it was super cloudy and unfortunately we couldn't see much. But the view from the tubs at the top, was still gorgeous!! I would totally recommend Mystic Hot Springs!!

Ashley M.

Yelp
What a unique experience. If I hadn't watched the real housewives of Salt Lake City I would have never known this place existed. It was a 2.5 hour drive from where I was staying in St. George. I met the owner who was super friendly and very informative! Hi Micheal!! The property is as eclectic as the owner! You can camp on the grounds in your own tent, or he offers cabins and really cool old buses!! (this does not include a soak, that is extra) I was just there to soak! And catch a tremendous sunset!! There is a limited number of people allowed at a time. You are only allowed on the property at your designated soaking time. Which is why it's imperative that you leave when your time is up (2 hours) The water has ranging temperatures. And if there is an issue all you have to do is call and Michael comes up and fixes it for you! Such great customer service! If you're ever near Monroe I highly suggest this as a stop! Be warned it is kinda in the middle of nowhere in small town USA utah..eat at bullies drive through before dipping and make sure you have a flashlight as it's very dark once the sun goes down! But other then that happy soaking!!

Tony A.

Yelp
No one at the front desk or on the property. Has a worn out, somewhat dirty vibe. The gate was closed and locked so we had to walk 100 yards to get to the springs. The only way of booking is ONLINE, since there is no one on site; so you need to know when you will arrive. The water is colder than it once was, but the view from the hill is great, looking over the valley.

Beata K.

Yelp
Mystic Hot Springs it's a national treasure! This place should be booked day in day out, I have never experienced such natural beauty. Next time in the Zion area this is on my to do list again.

Sarah H.

Yelp
Great spot for some soaking! You can also rent a bus to camp in on the property as well. There's about 6 bath tubs and a bigger pool at the front. Depending where you are, there's hotter and cooler baths, also a few in the shade. They have events happening often, all listed on their website for their schedule! We saw a few peacocks on the property as well that were beautiful!

Rachel B.

Yelp
I absolutely love Mystic Hot Springs, and I frequently catch myself wondering if it's too far out of my way whenever I drive through Utah. I am always excited for the next time I get to visit! Whether it's just for the day to soak or for an overnight in one of the buses, I highly recommend a stop. Not only is the soak super relaxing and a wonderful way to pass a few hours, it's a beautiful area. The buses stay so cozy, even in the winter - those heaters work wonders, and combined with the hot springs we were shocked at how little we needed to stay warm with! Absolutely worth the stop, every time!

Yelp
We decided to do an impromptu stay on our way back to AZ from UT. I was skeptical because when I saw the pics online, it reminded me of a place Cousin Eddie, from National lampoon's Xmas vacation would stay, but it has a 4 star rating, so I thought, "maybe it's not that bad?"... I decided to book it. While looking online though, it stated arrangements needed to be made a week in advance. Uh oh! I called and a nice boy answered and said it would be no problem to book now and our bus would be ready when we arrived in a few hours, so we packed up like the Beverly Hill Billies and made our way in their direction. When we arrived, no one was in the locked office, but there was a note on the door with the number to call for check in. I felt like I was talking to OZ, as I never saw the guy. He was a pleasant man who gave very precise visual instructions (see the red bus?... a whale on the blue bus... go past the gates on the dirt road). I appreciated that, as I'm a very visual person, and it helped me tremendously. When we entered the nature bus, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it wasn't what I was expecting at all. Cousin Eddie had obviously never set foot in here! The beds were nicely made. The paint inside looked so fresh that I thought it may be a new coat, but no paint fumes were present, so it's obvious they just keep it very clean. We got settled, and even though it looks like it could be cramped, we fit my geo metro sized suitcase inside, along with everyone else's luggage too. After that we ordered pizza to picked up after our 5-7pm soak time and headed up to the hot springs. I can't tell you enough how good it felt to be sitting in a body of water that felt like a jacuzzi. Bring plenty of water with you, but if you don't, there's a spigot at the main pool that's actually drinking water. No signage, but I think it was OZ, himself, that came out and let us know. The views, from up top, were majestic even with some of the rundown items in the distance. (It reminded me of a scene from cars). After our soak, we rinsed off in the guest showers and picked up our pizzas. (Check out my review on Lotsa Motsa). After a few games and filling our bellies, we headed to bed. If you're staying in late September, make sure you utilize the space heaters provided and the heated mattress pads. You'll be sorry if you don't. Oh, and if you're a light sleeper, bring ease plugs as there's a jerk rooster that won't let up when the sun starts to ride. All in all, this was a successful stay and since I came for an annual nail tech convention, we'll probably stay here again. Til next time Mystic Hot Springs!

Sohen G.

Yelp
My friend and I came to Utah just to visit this hot spring all the way from Atlanta, GA! It did not disappoint! We came at the right time and it couldn't be a more perfect day! Highly recommend!

Matthew M.

Yelp
TLDR: I do not recommend this place - an overall weird experience. See my photos. There is a ton of potential, sadly it's wasted by the current owner(s). The pictures on the website are deceiving, the grounds look like an unkept, trashy trailer park, none of the stalls in the showers/restrooms lock or are cleaned well. It only gets 2 stars because the mineral pools were warm. Customer Service (2/5) - I first pull up to a locked gate with a phone number, and no instructions other than to call on the reservation. After calling the number I introduced myself, told the guy I have a reservation, and asked where to go. The guy interrupted rudely, "If you give me a minute I'll tell you where you need to go." I never saw him on the property, he never introduced himself so I have no name, and the office door was locked shut. It sounded like I was disturbing whatever it was he was doing. Restrooms/Showers (1/5) - (Picture 1) After explaining where I should go, I changed inside their not clean restrooms/showers where none of the stalls lock. My girlfriend said the girl's restroom/showers was no different. Parents, please be with your kids here. Property/Cleanliness (1/5) - (Pictures 2 & 3) The property looks like a run down trailer park that needs A LOT of work. It's littered with debris, trash, broken down trailer homes, wild cats. Watch where you step. Mineral Pools (3/5) - The only nice part about this experience were the mineral pools. The tub pools are unique, the two larger pools are nice. Unfortunately because the property is littered with random cars, wood stacks, trash and debris, the view isn't exactly scenic. As I said before, this place has a lot of potential in the right hands. But right now it just feels like the owner simply sits somewhere, waiting for the many phone calls he undoubtedly gets every few hours by lost and confused guests, has very little interest or care in the property's upkeep, and can cash in on all the reservations made from the deceiving photos on the website. Go to Lava Hot Springs or the free public mineral springs just a block away.

Jose P.

Yelp
They lack information on the website. It would've been nice to have someone check you in versus just a phone call. We couldn't get in the tubs because they were busy and there was no time limit even though we had reserved from 1 to 3pm.

Mary L.

Yelp
lovely experience for a reasonable price. mystic Mystic Mike was very accommodating and friendly.

Linda G.

Yelp
It was soooo relaxing! Off the beaten path. We were there on a cool, cloudy 40degree day and we Loved the view and atmosphere. We have been coast to coast and this was an amazing experience! Take the time and go if you are close.

Matthew W.

Yelp
I do not recommend this business at all. Overprice and felt disgusting. Reasons I'd suggest the free hot springs down the street: 1. The trek to the hot springs feels like you are passing through a homeless encampment 2. It's overpriced for what it really is. 3. The rocks are fake in the pictures. 4. It felt like I was going to step on glass or a needle in the springs. 5. The bathtub springs were extremely hot. Not even bearable. 6. The check in process feels like a 1980s horro movie. The owners son is a psycho type of vibe. 7. The showers are pretty scary. I'm a big guy and not scared of much but these showers were pretty gross and sketchy. I checked all the curtains to make sure I was alone and Jason wasn't chilling in there. 8. The owner/ staff seem like a pricks and don't care for the customer experience at all. I really hope they read the reviews. of their business and really make some changes. 9. Also, where are these workers? Who is cleaning the springs or bathrooms. I did not meet anyone on site besides two other couples at the springs.

Brooke S.

Yelp
It was a unique experience. The hot tubs were wonderful, but be sure you know you have to book ahead. Sleeping in the bus us was such a different experience. The beds ar comfy and war.

Brendan W.

Yelp
Best hot springs if you want to get away from it all. Stores if you need them are a 1/4 mile away. The pools and tubs are tucked away from the residential areas up a little hill are available as larger group areas or totally private bathing spots wher you can marvel at the scenery and stars in complete privacy. I paid $56 a night in October. Hardly expensive. Brendan

Adele H.

Yelp
Awesome!!! The tubs perfect temperature and we watched the sunset! Host was great. Bathrooms and showers wonderful! was a full moon and so peaceful!

Darla Z.

Yelp
The hot springs were great! I wouldn't stay there overnight. The buses are cool to look at, but not to stay in. Overall it was a fun experience.

Trina L.

Yelp
Mystic Hot Springs was a night stop we needed more than we knew. We stayed in the NEW MOON bus renovated with a queen bed, table and chairs, lounges and a counter top. It was an amazing nights sleep, so so so comfy! all the pillows and comforters on the bed we woke up with a brisk morning but felt so warm and cozy in the bed. the hot springs were a great way to end a 6 day road trip and hiking everyday adventure. we relaxed in them while watching the sunset and then we took showers in the shower house which were very refreshing. Although the syyle of stay is different from your modern hotels I would highly suggest staying hear to anyone. Open your mind, relax and take some much needed deep breaths. Everyone from the staff to the other guests were kind and friendly and really respected your privacy. we left here feeling rested and recharged.

Yelp
I wish I had read Yelp reviews before booking this place. I'm not sure why I didn't research it more; maybe I was distracted. I can't say that I recommend coming here. Soaking pools: They are nice enough, with eclectic charm. My daughter and I shared a semi private tub that had a decent view, and when that got a bit too hot, we went down to the main pool, which was a bit more tepid. The path up to the tubs is quite treacherous, especially with wet flip flops on, and seems like it's quite a liability. Steps/stairs would be a good minor investment, but it seems that rustic and minimalism are celebrated more than anything else here. It's quite pricey to soak, but at least the time slot is for two hours. Would I come back? Probably not...there are other hot springs in the area I'd check out first. Cabin rental: this experience was just odd. The other reviews are spot on. You pull up to the office and have to call. The man who answers gives you a curt explanation when you express your confusion (sorry, I've never been here before!!!), and then you're on your own. I wouldn't call the property trashed, but it does have a trailer park feel, and is quite dilapidated. The cabin is just two beds, and they barely fit inside. There are two chairs, but it's so "cozy" that you won't want to hang out inside. The bathroom is a trek away. And on a day when it was very windy and just 80°, the inside had to be close to 100°. We spent several hours on a blanket on the grass under nearby trees. And I seriously contemplated blowing off the reservation (no refunds!). It did cool down at night, thankfully. Showers are communal with no privacy, but they are warm. We wore swimsuits. There are no other "amenities" currently. Maybe they're remodeling or something? There was no communication, so I have no idea what was going on. Some kitchen stuff (toaster, microwave, mini fridge, coffee pot) were in a table in the middle of the patio, but not in use and not plugged in (and dirty). There is an outdoor shower with zero privacy and looking pretty defunct, and a dishwashing station. We were never told the wifi code, and there is no signage about it. There are three mystic wifis that pop up, but we were out of luck here. Quiet hours are 9pm-9am. If only the roosters crowing and the peacocks shrieking (peacocks sound like really loud cats meowing, sort of) got that memo too. Bring ear plugs if you insist on staying here. I've stayed in a lot of hostels, and actually enjoy them. Mystic doesn't classify themselves as one, but it absolutely has that vibe. Only, it's the most rundown, and weirdest I've ever experienced.

Yelp
Beautiful and unique springs! We had a great time relaxing. Ofcourse everyone wants photos in the tubs, keep in mind it can get busy at certain times of the day. However; there is plenty of room in the big spring to enjoy and relax while you wait! Definitely recommend.

Yelp
I don't understand the horrible reviews. This place is very secluded and quiet. It's March, so my boyfriend were completely alone for 10 minutes before 1 other party showed up. We sat in a great bathtub overlooking the mountains. There were no stray cats (bummer, I love cats), no crabby customer service at the front gate (they were very friendly), no junk everywhere, etc. Maybe they read the reviews? Some of the pools were out of order. The bathrooms could use some upgrade. It's a bit of a walk to the pools but it's pretty easy. Wear hiking shoes, not sandals. It was quiet and romantic. Just be careful- some areas of the rocks with the water are very hot! It's very natural. There are ducks, birds, and GEESE. I've never heard geese hiss like cats. Stay away from them. Yeah, this place was never upgraded, but generally I liked it. I would come back. There's an abandoned 1800's cabin area across the street. Yes, 1800's - you can tell by square nails, and how the planks fit.

Yelp
I booked a 2 hours soak on Monday. We drove 2,5 hours from Springdale. We had a good time.

Yelp
we paid for the service before leaving on vacation, but when we arrived, it was so sketchy we were afraid to go in so we drove away and never use their service calling a random random phone number. That's on a gate. The gate was locked. It looked deserted. It was way too scary for us to risk going in there.

Yelp
Me and a girlfriend LOVE this place. It's the perfect escape. We love the atmosphere, the people, the vibe, buses, cabins, and the peacocks! We stayed in the ripple on 2/2/24 and it was PERFECT. we were both in heaven. There were two space heaters and an electric blanket, close to the restrooms, it was absolutely perfect! We didn't get cold once. We checked out the other buses to figure out which one we'll be going to next! Last year we stayed in a cabin, it was quite chilly compared to the bus. (Just FYI for those that would think the cabin would be warmer than the bus- not true). :) the springs are amazing also, it's so peaceful and relaxing. I've recommended this place to all my friends and will continue to do so. Everyone should enjoy this place at least once in their life.

Yelp
For me, this struck a good balance between adventurous and comfortable. There are other, more natural (read: unmaintained) hot springs in the area, but this one feels a lot safer, as well as being convenient to reach. Call when you get there, and they'll give you more detailed directions as well as answer and questions. But if you'd like to know what to expect: You change in a building with showers, there are a few stalls and two of them are quite small, but overall it's manageable. Don't expect a luxury spa experience, but it's warm and clean. You then have to walk a couple hundred feet to reach the hillside, which isn't too bad but just be aware. If you go when it's cold like we did, I recommend putting on your swim things under your clothes, and only undressing when you get to the springs. The hillside is a bit steep, but it's a very short climb, so most people should be able to get up there fine. There are cubbies to put your belongings. Overall, had a good time, but a few suggestions: * Why not set up some kind of changing rooms closer to the springs? Doesn't have to be a full shower room, just simple like this: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/79/7c/81/797c81f5269ca699c45d2857f5e88656.jpg or this: https://www.greenbankpool.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Changing-Rooms-800x800.jpg * Why not offer some gear for sale at the office? Towels, swim suits, goggles, flip flops, shampoo, and conditioner could be really nice for people who had forgotten something. Plus if they had a bit of design, even nice souvenirs. I think this place has a lot of potential to become even more amazing.

Yelp
Beautiful setting. Great tent campsite. Friendly vibe. Different pools and tubs with different temps. Super fun hot springs.

Yelp
I like quirky, quaint places. Especially hot springs, but this place is an absolute joke, an instagram scam. They even caveat with a disclaimer on the website "Things are imperfect. We realize that there is a lot we can do to improve it." Only 4 bathtubs up on a terrace (2 others were broken down and covered with garbage plastic) and a luke warm pool behind a dilapidated house. Heed the 1 and 2 star reviews. See pic for what it actually looks like and not washed by instagram

Yelp
This place was great! The water was so nice and hot! When you get there you call the number to check in and the guy who answered was so nice and even extended our stay even though we got there late! Overall a great fun experience! I would definitely come here again! The tubs are so nice and the pool was great as well they have showers for you with all the necessities (shampoo/conditioner)!

Yelp
Amazing place. Love the rustic charm. Clean. Hot hot hot springs. Bathtubs big enough for two comfortably.

Yelp
It's a dump. It's an expensive dump. Everything is ratty and broken and run down and, quite literally held together with bailing wire. I was camping and a rainstorm was coming so I booked a school bus. It was a hundred dollars to sleep in a skanky and smelly old bus with broken windows and nothing but a bed. The hippy charm of sleeping in an old hippy bud wears out quickly in this dump. Soaking in the hot spring was fine but ratty, skanky and falling apart. It's $25 per person and you have to reserve time and the owner will rudely harass you. I went way out of my way to go there hoping to have a great experience and it was tragically bad. And yes, everything is broken. It's comical how this place passed any kind of safety inspection. No stairs, scramble over slick rocks, sharp rusty steel protruding in the tubs, electrical wires everywhere. It's a nightmare. I had a rats nest of extension cords in my miserable bus. And did I mention the prices are insane and it's a dump and the owner is rude and obviously has never hired a professional to fix anything. Run away. Go anywhere else. Stay home and take a hot bath

Yelp
This was a one night pit stop. We pitched a tent in the grass area and we had a fire pit. It was a comfortable stay. We chose the campsite for the mystic hot springs. My husband had an industrial accident and has 24/7 back and neck ache. We soaked it there for over an hour. My husband said his pain went away and his body felt relaxed for hours. That is a win win for us! I feel the bathrooms can use an update but not to take away the 70 vibes.

Yelp
Amazing!! This was my 3rd time going and it was just as incredible as I remember! I went precovid so they had the shop open but this was still just as great of an experience!! We stayed in the GROW cabin! Nothing fancy, but so welcoming! Cute and great for just the two of us! The beds were queen size and we were able to have a fire!! There is electricity and that little space heater keeps it's pretty warm! The tubs were heaven and clean! Just what we needed for a little getaway!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
