Arriving in Mons we were met by Marc and guided to our accomodation for the evening, the Dragon House. We had two lovely and spacious rooms and a decent kitchen too. The house had lots of period features and eclectic decor, shabby chic I guess. The place was blissfully quiet even though it was only 5 minutes walk from the Grand Place. There was plenty of space for a laptop, the shower was good and it was a very convenient stay. Parking was on road and free 6PM - 9AM I think. We got breakfast from the Au Millefeuille bakery round the corner. The kitchen was very well equipped so we could have eaten properly if we were staying longer.

We stayed for one night during Christmas holiday and it was absolutely perfect. Very spacious room (Doudou) with interesting playful construction with the private bathroom down a small stairs. Perfect view of town and only 1 minute walking from bars and restaurants. The kitchen was very complete, mind you, the kitchen is shared, but I saw no other guest and could take coffee and breakfast back to the room.

We stayed one night while cycle touring. We loved the interior design of the room. It was very clean and one of the most comfortable beds so far on our trip (one month in now), with the mattress nice and firm as I like it and comfy pillows and comforter. The location is also amazing, with nice restaurants and the grand place just a short walk away. Mathias and Marc were very helpful and friendly, too, and went out of their way to make sure that our bikes are safely stored for the night. 10/10 would stay again.

In a quiet street very close to the city center and about a 15 minutes walk from the railway station, Mons Dragon House is a good place to stay in Mons. Our room on the ground floor was very spacious, well furnished, absolutely clean and with a bathub placed in the middle. Only the wc was separated. Mathias and Chantal are so kind and give you all the informations you need. On the ground floor there are also a common area with big sofas and a very well equipped kitchen: here you can make breakfast (tea and coffee are available for free and not too far there is a boulangerie where you can buy pastries and bread) or a simple dinner. Keep in mind the picture of the door: it's not to easy to find the house but when you'll be in front of the wooden door with the dragoon you'll know to be in the right place. Absolutely recommended.

Pretty cool place. I was on top floor. The better more spectacular rooms are downstairs. Make sure all windows are closed as street noise and bin men will disturb. Bed very comfortable. Handy to walk to main square and attractions. Would be a good base for a few days. As has fully equipped kitchen for your use.

The property is situated in a central place , walking distance from the Mons' grande place , restaurants and shops.|The owner and Marc who waited for us were extremely friendly and helpful. They even changed our reservation for a bigger room when they were told that our 11 years old son will be travelling with us.|The shared kitchen is sparkling clean and well equipped .|Frankly this property is strongly recommended. |Everything was more than perfect

Delightful AirBnB in the centre of Mons, the main plaza is just few minutes' walk away. EVERY bedroom is a double - not so awesome for a big group of pals, but with 5 bedrooms this is smashing for couples or people who don't mind sharing. Each bedroom has its own theme, and all are ensuite, although some have better bathrooms than others. There's a little street noise but we didn't find it problematic. The kitchen is beautifully fitted out including gorgeous matching appliances and even a coffee pod machine. There's a small living room area with a dining table and sofa corner group. This was a great weekend base for our group and we really enjoyed Mons.
