Monsieur Chow

First time here. A early family Dinner with my son. Restaurant used to be Ally Chow. 5 out of 5 for everything. Food presentation and flavour wonderful, extensive beverage list (I enjoyed a Grenache from South Australia), warm and friendly service from the team from the moment we walked in (without a booking) and interesting darkish décor and atmosphere and quirky, with the 1955 movie Guys and Dolls playing on the wall of the adjacent alleyway (also part of restaurant) 🎬 Higher dollar dining than usual for us, but absolutely worth it for a premium experience, including cloth napkins…a nice touch…on nicely set up tables. Only challenge of the night was finding parking in the increasingly popular Nobby Beach precinct. But we persevered and found a spot 10 minutes walk away at beachfront Miami. Suggest when Stage 3 of the Gold Coast Light Rail opens next year that will definitely be the way to go as station only a minute’s walk from the restaurant. Highly recommend.

We visited Monsieur Chow for a weekend lunch using a First Table booking and got 50% off all our food – such a great deal! The restaurant was quiet, which made it perfect for a relaxed catch-up, and the service was lovely and attentive. A special shout-out to our waiter, who honestly advised against the Vietnamese coffee after he prepare my order and taste-tested it and wasn’t happy with the result. I really appreciated the honesty – he could have just served it, but he cared enough to recommend something better. The food was absolutely delicious. The bao buns were a highlight – especially the eggplant bao, which I loved! We also had the pork belly and some veggies, and the flavours were spot on. The sauce paired so well with the rice. Everything we ordered was full of flavour and beautifully done. On top of all that, we paid half price thanks to the First Table offer. Nothing to fault – one superbly happy customer here. Highly recommend!

Stunning food, a gorgeous afternoon (3pm booking) on a Saturday was wonderful. Staff were friendly and perfectly attentive. The food was stunning - the coconut milk fried chicken had impressive flavours, the sticky pork belly had an absolutely perfect amount sweet/caramel, crispy eggplant amazing; rice salad was nice as was roti. Wecouldn’t fault what we ordered. Will be back. Thanks so much Monsieur Chow.

Took the family to Monsieur Chow over the Christmas holidays and it was unreal. The food is next level — the Beef Cheek is ridiculously good and the Crispy Cauliflower is one of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. Honestly, everything we tried was spot on. The margaritas deserve a special mention. I don’t know where else on the Gold Coast you’re getting margaritas like this — dangerously good and very easy to order another round. The whole family loved them. The vibe in there is perfect too. Super chill atmosphere, great lighting, and the décor is seriously stylish without trying too hard. It’s the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable in, whether you’re there for a casual dinner or a proper night out. If you’re looking for amazing food, great drinks, and a place you actually want to sit and enjoy being in — this is it. We’ll definitely be back.

Terrible! First the place is hot all staff members inside are sweating. Second, beer on tap finished on Saturday 6pm. Now the food, pad see ew its not the nodules done wrong and there was maximum 50g of beef , this is not a $42 dish, the cauliflower was uneatable , the sauce on the bao was terrible . Also we ordered sparkling water, and needed to ask refill all the time . This restaurant doesn’t care about food . Also it’s expensive for what you get Don’t get deceive by instagram photos

Relaxing atmosphere, delicious food, outstanding and very friendly servers! We had a great night!

This place has incredibly yummy food! A great fusion of flavours from Asia. Make sure you try the sticky pork belly.. OMG. So delicious!

Great location in the heart of Nobby's vibe. Service especially from hostess was great, explaining the menu and other amenities. Neat old film playing in the alleyway seating area. Food delicious. We ordered a la carte although banquets look amazing and well priced.
