Had a really great dinner here and we liked it so much we also got takeout here even though we were only in Maui for a week! We were very skeptical coming since the restaurant is in a condo building and wasn’t sure what to expect. We were pleasantly impressed with the food, views and service. No bad tables here as they all face the bay and you can get gorgeous sunsets at the right time. Food was delicious and appropriately spiced as requested. They accommodated all special requests and the portions were generous. Papa Paneer was a standout as the fresh palak stood out and the breads were all well made as well. Too full for dessert but all of the dishes were superb. Wouldn’t mind having this available as my local restaurant! Prices are as expected in HI and service was laid back but good. Enjoyed the dinner and food was equally impressive when we got takeout.

We ordered Naan, Roti, Chicken Curry, Malai Kofta, Daal Makhani, and Basmati Rice. The food was fresh but mediocre. The Malai Kofta gravy lacked depth of flavor—turmeric was the only prominent taste. However, Roti and Naan were decent. Additionally, the kitchen could definitely benefit from better food presentation skills, as the dishes lacked visual appeal. Service was extremely slow, with just one person taking orders. While the food was served hot, the overall experience was disappointing, especially given the additional charges. For a party of four, they imposed an 18% gratuity plus a 4% kitchen service fee, totaling a 22% service charge—Kitchen service fee is something I’ve never encountered before. Restaurants should pay their staff fairly instead of overburdening customers with such fees, particularly when the service doesn’t meet premium standards. While the ambiance was pleasant, they seriously need to reconsider their service fee policy.

We came with high hopes, since the reviews were promising and the ambience seemed great. It seemed that we were wrong. The food was not great. Everything was made very hastily. Vegetable pakoras were overfried on the outside but very undercooked on the inside. The salted lassi tasted like it was made with a pound of salt. Besides that, the service was far more than disappointing. We were left waiting for over 20 minutes for our drinks because the server forgot to bring them to us. There was no communication on their part whatsoever, and there didn’t seem to be any warmth or cheer. Additionally, the automatic 18% gratuity felt over the top as neither the service or the food was worth the crazy price we were charged. This was a disservice to authentic Indian food and we were overall very disheartened.

Came back for the 2nd time. And ohh Man!  THE BEST AMONG ALL THE BEST!!!! Dosnt even deserve the bad reviews. Parking : Park between yellow lines first left lane at the complex parking lot. Restaurant can be found at the lobby of the complex. I do suggest to call them a head for reservations before going in. They take walk ins but if you want to try grab window table call them 1 day a head. FOOD: 1.They have a lot of Vegetarian dishes as well as VEGAN option ,everything separately made. 2. They also have a lot of dishes where you can remove garlic and onion (AMAZING!) 3. although there is a wait for food order this is understandable for they serve FRESH HOME MADE FOOD the place is busy but to tell you everything was worth it . Worth it! We ordered paneer masala.. yummy yummy yummy .we also order kadhai paneer ,dal curry or dal tarka , bhindi and baingan was bomb. My father ordered lamb kadhai and lamb kabab and said that its the soffest lamb he ever tasted. SERVICE: Service Outstanding !!!! Although I feel like they needed more people. These guys are profesionals. Not even once they missed service, given the place was busy.I would suggest to go as early as you can though. Read last comment . They do speak English. . Anyway, best Indian food i have tasted in my entire life. Cant believe the best indian place can be found here on Maui hawaii. I Heard they have been serving for 17 years plus years now .... WOW! Very authentic! Food here will speak for themselves. JUST GO AND TRY!!!!!

It might seem funny to travel all the way to Hawaii and end up at an Indian restaurant, but we are so glad we did! Everything about our experience was fantastic. Despite arriving a bit late for our reservation, the staff was gracious and accommodating. Gabe, our server, was welcoming, attentive, and gave spot-on recommendations. The view was a beautiful bonus, and the food was absolutely delicious. We loved every dish we tried: veggie pakora, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan. Truly some of the best food and service we’ve had anywhere on Maui. This spot is absolutely worth the visit.

I recently visited this restaurant for a special occasion, and I was impressed by the attention to detail. The food was expertly prepared, with fresh ingredients and creative flavor combinations. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, with great wine pairing recommendations. The ambiance was upscale but welcoming, with a beautiful view. Highly recommend for special occasions!

Great Indian food. After 5 nights in Hawaii, we wanted to try Indian food and monsoon grill did not disappoint. The food was tasty and was very authentic!

Google
Underwhelming experience – pricey and disappointing I visited Monsoon Bar and Grill during my second trip to Maui after 10 years. Sadly, the experience did not match my previous visit. While the menu has stayed the same, the ocean view is no longer visible — which used to be one of its key highlights. Service left much to be desired. Our group requested to be seated at an unoccupied table, but the staff declined, explaining that tables are assigned to specific servers. There was no effort to accommodate, and the overall attitude felt dismissive. The food itself was just average, especially considering the high prices. The bill included 18% automatic gratuity for groups of 4–7 and 20% for 8 or more, plus a 4% kitchen appreciation fee on food — these charges were noted on the menu, but they do significantly raise the overall cost. Given the service, food quality, and price point, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. Instead, consider exploring other Indian restaurants in Maui, or branch out to nearby Mexican, Italian, or Hawaiian options for a better dining experience and atmosphere. If you still choose to dine here, smaller groups of three or fewer may avoid the automatic gratuity.

Yelp
What a great place! Best views in Maui. Parking is free and easy. Service was friendly and prompt. The food was amazing and the prices were actually really reasonable for the portions, quality and ambiance. We ordered the veggie samosas, chicken masala, and lamb kebabs. Everything was amazing. The lamb kebab was the knockout though!

Yelp
I must start off saying that this place is located in one of the beautiful spots of Kihei especially if you are down there during the sunset time make sure you go to this restaurant. Sit there with your mai Thai. A pleasant breeze with the sunset view without any interruption will blow your mind away. It is serene. We ordered a bunch of appetizers, Biryani butter chicken, garlic, naan. I must say that it's super expensive. The quantity is very small. Example, if you order a butter chicken, don't you get a complimentary rice on the side? I asked for raita They charge me $6. I understand it's Hawaii, but you can't rip off your customers.

Yelp
We went there based on reviews and proximity to our hotel. The ambiance is great, it is ocean-front, so an amazing site to be at the time of sunset. The servers were courteous and helped out well throughout the time there. The reason for 3 stars: the food itself. It is Indian food by visuals, not by flavor. The food was very bland and lacked flavors. The quality seems good and it is fresh but if you are craving for real Indian food, it is missing. We ordered our food spicy, it had the chilli, but other spices were not flavorful. If you have never tried Indian food and want to experiment, this is your place. But if you love or are craving for real Indian food, you will have some disappointment. The other thing is hidden fees. Read the fine print at the end of the menu so you don't feel surprised by the hidden fees when the check arrives.. We are vegetriarian, and they had an ample collection which is usual for Indian restaurants.

Yelp
A HIDDEN GEM Incredible atmosphere, service and sunset spot! Right on the water?!? Are you kidding me?! We got the chicken tika masala and garlic naan (can you tell we're white people?) and it was LOVELY. This spot came highly recommended to us from a bunch of people who are culturally more diverse than us though so it's VALID OK.
google avatar

Khushbu P.

Yelp
Love the food! The masala tea was like home made Indian chai, plus it was freshly made. Loved loved loved the onion Bhajis, a big portion but again felt home made. The paneer curry had a nice balanced and unique test in comparison to what I have had in other Indian restaurants (all same) in the USA. Highly recommend trying out! Ambiance is awesome as it's near sea and service was good too!
google avatar

Yelp
Monsoon Bar and grill is delicious! I typically do take out orders with them but if you have the chance to dine in you should, they are right on the water which makes for great sunset views while eating. The food is always full of flavor. I personally love the chicken tikka masala or the butter chicken but everything I've tried here has been a hit!

Yelp
Since the renovations, it's made a big difference! I've eaten here many times and the view is amazing, good service, good food. Give them a try!

Yelp
Relaxing open dining room and lovely staff every visit. I absolutely love the butter chicken and their chicken tikka masala. Vegetable samosas with yogurt yumm! I always love to order a side of chutney

Yelp
We were there for a dinner, two of us. Lovely ambiance by the sea. Seated promptly had a Hawaiian margarita. Was good. Pakoras, Panneer Saag and Bhaingan Bharta were all excellent. Great service, friendly staff, great food, great location to watch the sun set. Which we did! love this restaurant!

Yelp
My favorite place for Indian food on Maui, Monsoon India is a literal gem. Whenever I go, the food is always great and the vibes are immaculate. Located in the Menehune Shores Condominiums this place is special because it's got one of the best views of the sunset in Kihei. It's right along the beach and has large open windows that give you an unobstructed view of Ma'alaea and the road to Lahaina. My fam I usually start with the bread basket, which comes with different types of naan and this onion stuffed bread that's to die for when dipped in curry. Then we usually get the butter chicken and some type of seafood. This time we got the mahi and also tried their malai kofta (vegetable/cheese croquets in a coconut curry). The fish was cooked just right and the malai kofta was good, but just a tad bit too salty for my taste buds. Nonetheless, the food always hits the spot and the service is always good, despite how busy it can get! I can never complain when I come here.

Chandrika B.

Yelp
They have lots of park reserved for restaurant visitors in the adjoining community. Spacious restaurant with lots of seating around the big open windows facing the ocean and giving you the pleasure of its breeze. Clean restrooms and friendly service. In $90, we got: - mahi mahi fish tikka sizzler 5/5- too good and spicy. Loved the kick of spices. - chicken tikka masala - 5/5 nut free and creamy with perfectly tender chicken pieces - bread basket - decent - soft drinks and lemonade - lentil soup 4/5 huge portion size One of the best indian foods we had in Maui.. most other places in Lahaina were closed due to recent fires

Yelp
This is our backup restaurant when our fave Indian restaurant is closed. We do enjoy the atmosphere and views here, but the food isn't as good as the other place down the road. It seems like even when we order things extra hot, it's still not spicy enough. The server is always polite, but not completely attentive. Overall, the location makes it a decent spot if you're looking for a nice restaurant and craving Indian.
google avatar

Leigh Ann C.

Yelp
A great spot to watch the sunset with a kick! Two of us ordered medium spice, which was perfect for my friend, but a bit more than I expected. But still very good. My other friend ordered mild, and that'll be my chose next time as well. But we were all happy with the food. The shrimp were huge and tasty in a spinach curry. And the tiki masala was delicious too. For prime sunset viewing, reservations are recommended. But there's a pretty good view from almost everywhere.

Yelp
Best Indian on Maui hands down! Consistently. Also, really nice service. Views are amazing!

Yelp
We arrived at two minute before close and the wonderful staff let us order for take out. The food was fantastic. Gorgeous ocean view. Highly recommend if you are in Kihei and want a great meal, service and view!

Yelp
I didn't get any pics of our food because we had to wait a bit and were hungry by the time we got it and got home and ate it. First of all our was hard enough getting our order over the phone. It seemed to be a communication issue and then they said their phone died. We ordered plain naan and chicken tikka masala extra spicy. We got there about 10 min later and had to wait another 10 min for our food. When we got home we saw that our naan was actually filled with spicy peppers. Our chicken tikka masala wasn't actually spicy. So apparently they made our naan extra spicy. Who does that?? I've never seen this before. It was so spicy that it made it very hard to eat. Also there was barely any naan. It was like peppers with a bit of naan in it. I wish I took pictures. We picked out so many peppers and there was still so many in it. Also our dish didn't come with rice which was a surprise because it usually does any other time you order a dish like that.

Yelp
Ate there tonight. Corner table at around 8:00pm. I'm writing this in hopes of getting in touch with our server because he was amazing. Medium height short black hair sassy attitude lol. My boyfriend threw a hissy fit and forgot to tip him. I'd like to tip him. Super sweet and attentive, he'd remember us as the couple that ordered the bottle of wine with ice, and then poured our glasses and never needed the ice. Or the couple whose man said a nasty thing to him while walking out. I'm so sorry Amazing food, amazing service. Mahalo. Plz respond if you can figure out who our server was.

Yelp
Breakfast review. My wife was kayaking by Menehune Shores so I stopped in for breakfast. Prices were high, but I was there and I was hungry. I ordered the bagel and lox along with a latte. You order at the bar, grab your number, get some silverware and ice water at the table against the wall and seat yourself. The view is outstanding. The latte arrived and was a decent latte, though no "artwork" in the foam, which is kind of a standard practice at most coffee shops. The bagel came out and, WTF? It was loaded down with sprouts. Sprouts have a very strong taste and these overwhelmed the bagel. The sprouts were on top of the lox, and a few capers and onion bits sat on the sprouts. I carefully picked them out, removed the sprouts, and noted that the cream cheese had been herbed, there was a small slice of smoked salmon (lox) on each bagel, then I put the minimal capers and onion slices back on. This was no $18.00 bagel, folks. In Manhattan, Seattle, Dubai, take your pick, an $18.00 bagel has plain cream cheese, a solid amount of lox, topped with plenty of sliced onions and capers. With an expensive latte and a tip, I was in for over $30. On the way out I told the bartender and hostess that I was let down. A German (I think?) woman came over, turns out she's the owner or manager of the breakfast session. I explained what I've just written here and she merely said she would make a note of it. No apology, no offer to make things right. So if you order a bagel and it comes loaded with sprouts, know that they don't care! BTW, we still love coming here for dinner. Great Indian food!!!

Yelp
We recently went to this restaurant for dinner and were so impressed that even though we arrived on impulse without a reservation the staff were very accommodating. The menu was representative of a wide variety of Indian specialties. One of us had a chicken dish with accompanying naan, sauce and rice. We also ordered lamb prepared on skewers and grilled. These were served in a style to be shared. Both were excellent but the lamb was the best we have had on Maui. Service was friendly and performed well. Staff checked with us often to see if our needs were met but not intrusively. The dining room is large with good spacing and open windows that provide an expansive view of Maalaea Bay. We look forward to returning often.

Yelp
We went to this place twice during our stay- lunch and dinner. This place won't disappoint you when it comes to Indian curries.Ordered Dal,Aloo mutter,Chappati and Naan. Chappati is definitely not made like how Indians have it. However, for dinner we received delectable Kofta,Makhmali Chicken Tikka,Cholle- Puri and Dal Makahni- Paratha. Would not recommend Paneer tikka here as the Paneer wasn't soft. Mango kulfi took care of my sweet tooth. The waitress was the same on both days and we were quite amazed how she remembered our condiments requirement. You would love to have a meal while hearing the wave splashing.Great ambiance!!

Yelp
I'm India as I love this food! I got vegetarian samosas Lamb seekh kebab Garlic naan Everything was delicious. Beautiful view, walking distance from a lot of the resorts. Authentic, bougie. Indian owned. Breakfast lunch and dinner Great service, Jersey was amazing, kind and a local.

Iowill E.

Yelp
No welcome, no greeting. Pathetic service, waited 5min then ending up asking bartender to call the waiter so we can have a table. Not a busy place, only 5 tables were occupied. Still waited 15min before someone actually came to take an order. Dirty silverware, wet plates (glad they gave us tissues so we can clean them ourselves) Food: was good though. Credit goes to the chef. 4 out of 5 Ambience: 2 out of 5 Seems like no one cared about customers walking it. The place can do wonders if the service and ambience are improved.

Yelp
Our go-to Indian restaurant on Maui! We love Monsoon! It's located in North Kihei in a condo complex and has amazing oceanfront views. There is parking just for the restaurant in the lot as well. We keep coming back for more and more! The owner, Hari, is a great guy and his staff is so welcoming and friendly. Moving from CA, we were worried we wouldn't find some fresh Indian food on island, but we're happy Monsoon is here! Will be back soon to try out more dishes!

Yelp
Unfortunately, We ordered Veg Biryani for To-Go, This tastes like white rice mixed with Maggie masala, Turmeric Powder and some cauliflower. STAY AWAY!!
google avatar

Steven T.

Yelp
We frequently dine at this local Indian restaurant and food has always been amazingly authentic. We ordered our usual tandoori chicken and lamb sheehs kebab . They were amazingly delicious and tasty. The okra dish was also good but this time it had uncooked and grizzled okra. The spinach dishes were delicious and flavorful as well. Lastly was our favorite lamb briyani tender and perfectly cooked. The chicken pakora was bland not flavorful. Service was slow due to the fact there were not enough server and had to called our server. This is very unsustainable but they can do better. The ambiance is always amazing watching sunset while dining. A must if visiting Maui.

DJ D.

Yelp
The restaurant has an amazing view and we sat by the window. The samosas, naan, butter chicken and tika masala were all good. I especially liked the tika personally. We've had better Indian in general, thus the 4 stars.
google avatar

Erica G.

Yelp
I really love the food here but i cannot believe the prices. I just paid $65 for essentially a small bowl of Dahl Makhani and 2 samosas. I feel like if I'm paying this much for food then there should be rice or a salad included, or a side of naan or something to make this a meal. That's a lot of money for a very small portion of food.
google avatar

Vaughn M.

Yelp
The vjew is amazing but the food is even bette. 100% get the butter chicken and the veggie saang. Gabrielle was the kindest server. Good job Monsoon
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place and hit it regularly. View is unmatched. Service is great. Everything always tastes fresh and full of flavor. The naan and meat samosas are a must every time!

Yelp
I discovered Monsoon on a trip to the adjacent Kalepolepo Beach Park. Gorgeous ocean views from the dining room- request a table along the windows and you will be wowed with how close you are to the water. We arrived a little after 6 pm on a weekday and it was very busy, so plan to wait, especially if you arrive with a large party. The staff and manager were doing their best to keep up with the demands of the packed house, but we did find service to be a little slow but friendly, all considering. The tomato soup is much more flavorful than expected, truly a standout. Veggie and onion pakoras were fairly standard. The tandoori chicken and lamb koorma were excellent, just spicy enough to satisfy our heat craving without being overwhelming. Our party was split on the garlic cheese naan, definitely a more Americanized version with cheese melted inside. Good if eaten immediately, but less so as it cooled while I waited for the entrees. Rice does not come with entrees, kind of a bummer. Portions were average. Pricing overall was high for this type of fare, but comparable for a sit down dinner in Maui. Worth it for the location, views, parking, and food!

Yelp
Unreal Indian food, never had an average meal, all over the top Indian. Flavor Is Wonderful the servings are always jus perfect, basmati rice and nan bread is the perfect add on, the ambience is magnificent with the setting sun and the windows open perfect place

Caroline M.

Yelp
The view here is amazing and the staff was so kind, our waiter Gabe was great. The food was really delicious I loved the veggie samosas.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food and fabulous view of the ocean. The remodeled dining room looks fabulous. Will go again.

Yelp
From a vegetarian's POV: View: 1,000,000 stars; located next to beach - you have a wonderful view of the water with boats going by (makes up for the other points taken away below). *Also has a sports bar feel with TVs and large bar area. *Kadhi Paneer: good *Palak/Saag Paneer: we ordered mild and it was barely spiced but bubbling hot so I'll let it go. *Basmati rice (with cumin/cardamom): below average it was basic rice *Naan: good. Service: cold and barely there. Service staff looked like it was a headache to be serving. The view is amazing but with open windows the food becomes cold very quickly.

Yelp
We enjoyed a birthday dinner with friends at this oceanfront restaurant and had a great meal. There are so many options to choose from, it was difficult to decide, but selected the lamb Tandoori, which was delicious and surprisingly tender. I also tried the meat samosas which were loaded with filling and came with two delicious sauces. I tried a couple of naan breads, garlic and cheese filled, and both were very good. The yogurt sauce helped to cool the mouth from the spicy food. Next time I will try a curry dish. Some of the other diners ordered the mango and pineapple lassi drinks which looks really appetizing. All in all everybody ate, their fill with no complaints. The food was really good and hot. You can select your level of spiciness. The location is great, being right at the oceanfront, with a great view of the sunset. The table service for our table of eight was a little awkward, but worked out OK. The staff really tried hard to make our night special, and we were even able to use our Yelp bonus for checking in!
google avatar

Peter Y.

Yelp
Just my ratings 1-10. Papadum 9 Garlic naan 2 (burnt - burnt taste overwhelmed) Veg pakoras 6 Butter chicken 5 (meat overcooked- ho hum dish) Curry chicken 7 Basmati rice 8 Mango ice cream 4 (prob same elsewhere) 2 adult beverages 8 First time here, nice waterfront view, food below my expectations but would come back to try other dishes because I've always liked Indian food. At about $150 for two of us, I'd probably keep it way below that next time to keep possible disappointment to a minimum. The sizzling kebab was served at the table next to us and I immediately regretted not trying it.

Yelp
Amazing Indian restaurant!!! We stumbled upon this gem when we stayed here for our honeymoon two years ago, and could smell the Indian food being made from scratch daily! We stopped by for dinner, and it was so good we went again for lunch the next day!! I had the butter chicken and ordered it spicy with garlic naan, my husband had the chicken, saag with rice. Both were absolutely exceptional!!! We returned back two years later, and everything is just as amazing. Beautiful ambiance, great service, and a gorgeous view of the sunset from our table. 100% recommend if you're in Kihei.

Varun S.

Yelp
Waited an hour after being seated to get mediocre food and get charged an automatic 18% gratuity and 4% kitchen appreciation charge. We were not a large group and were still charged 22% in mandatory fees. The food quality is mediocre at best. Service was some of the worst I've ever experienced and I eat out every day.

Yelp

Yelp
We were so pleasantly surprised on how good the food here was. We loved spicy food and asked for it to be spicy. This usually means in lots of places that they will try their best, but they really wowed us with how flavorful and spicy everything was. It was nice to have had this as as our last dinner in Maui. We are definitely coming back next vacation here!!!!

Biswarup S.

Yelp
We were repeat customers of Monsoon by delivery/sitdown as the food is expensive, but good - however, our delivery order this time and the resultant lack of service was disappointing and has put us off entirely. We made our usual order of Keema Nan with other items but as soon as we bit into the Keema Nan, the cold slimy texture and smell of raw red meat made us have to spit it out and wash out our mouths. We called the restaurant and spoke to the manager Gabriel, but they said they could do nothing, and we would have to order delivery again at our expense or wait several hours until they closed for redelivery. As this Keema Nan was meant to be the backbone of our $100 meal, we could not eat it in its entirety either. When we asked Gabriel how this had happened and how we could be assured this would not happen again, there was no explanation and only an apology. He was dismissive about the health risk posed by raw meat and we did not feel our complaint was taken seriously. We have lost confidence in Monsoon and given the lack of gravity for even a serious issue like raw red meat in our food, we cannot recommend them. For their prices, we would expect excellent customer service, but have been sorely disappointed.

Yelp
Great views! Amazing food! Having landed in Maui feeling a bit under the weather, most of us in the group craved hot soup and some comfort food and came upon Monsoon Bar & Grill on Google. We had the entire place to ourselves and the absolutely stunning views the restaurant has to offer. We ordered tomato soup, masala papad, vegetable curry, paneer tikka, aloo paratha and biryani! I can't pick one thing over the other. Everything was nice, comforting and the right amount of spice. But the hot and tangy tomato onion soup will still be special since we went back twice just for that! Special shout out to the attentive staff! It would be super helpful if they can add a direction board or nameplate in the walkway or the huge parking since we took nearly 5-6 mins to locate it.
google avatar

MiChelle M.

Yelp
The food here was delicious! The restaurant itself is next to the water with great sunset views. Definitely give it a try!!
google avatar

Yelp
We found our way back to this kinda hidden spot that we visited several years ago. Superlative view, friendly and attentive service and good food at a price that is not jacked up to match the view. My chana masala and hubby's tikka masala were flavorful and appropriately spicy. A mango lassi was that craveable smooth texture and a wine pour was quite generous. Mahalo Monsoon!

A B.

Yelp
Good views of the ocean if you sit by the window! Parking is convenient. Ambience and cleanliness is meh. Food is decent. Service is sub-par and Hard to get server's attention. Very pricey for the service and quality. First time experience seeing a 5% kitchen appreciation fee on top of a mandatory 20% tip for a party of 4 people.

Yelp
After we settled into our Menehune Shores condo, it was time to look for a place for dinner. As luck would have it, there's a restaurant right downstairs! Plus we have not had Indian food in a long time and it's a good change of pace, so this was providence. Right across from the elevator, the entrance leads past the bar, out to the open air dining room looking out on Maalaea Bay. The mood was set with a cool breeze and a perfect sunset. A tall golden glass of Mango Lassi just made it that much better. We started with perfectly fried Vegetable Samosas, which came with 2 sauces, 1 sweet and 1 spicy. I love Chicken Tandoori and Monsoon's was excellent! Every time I heard that sizzling sound going by, someone else was about to enjoy another red hot plate of Chicken Tandoori! Garlic Naan with Chala Masala rounded out our meal. The Naan had plenty of garlic and glazed with ghee, went well with the chicken and the chick peas. It was a perfect first dinner in paradise!

Yelp
I probably live about 5 minutes away from this place & never went. It has been in the same spot for years now & after passing it over a billion times, I finally made it in after a recommendation from someone. I always wondered how it looked in there, just because you know, from the outside it's kinda questionable. But after looking on yelp, looks like it was recently remodeled. Walked in, they were pretty busy. The girl at the front offered to clear off the table by the window which was nice as the restaurant was really nice inside & has a beautiful ocean view. I can just imagine it at sunset. So many options to choose from, everything is a la carte, just fyi. I had to go with one of my faves, butter chicken curry with some plain naan bread on the side. I went with medium spice because just to be safe. We were told, it'd be about 45 minutes for our food, which was fine as it was a girls night & we had lots to catch up on. It was definitely less then that till we got our food. But ohhh, that butter chicken, so creamy, savory, yummy goodness. I'm glad I got that naan bread, you definitely need something on the side to eat it with. & well if you know Indian food, it's not the biggest serving, so those carbs on the side will help fill you up. I went with a couple friends & they both liked my meal the best. After tasting the spice, I think I definitely could've gone hot, but the medium was just enough to taste the spice. This was a nice surprise, a good find really close by. Check it out if you're in the area.

Yelp
Authentic food, great ambience, and very friendly service! We were blown away by the delicious food and got to sit right at the windows with a gorgeous ocean view. We visited this restaurant on our last day in Maui right before heading to the airport desperate for some comfort Indian food. We came in towards the end of lunch and ordered veg pakoras, dal makhani and bindi masala with roti. It was all very fresh and delicious and we wiped our plates clean. We ordered some dal curry and rice for the road and it saved us when we got home after a 20 hr trip. Highly recommend this restaurant!
