Best India food on Maui 100% add to that fact that you can dine while looking at the oceanfront wow. Don’t forget to order the Garlic Naan it’s delicious also their mango chutney is amazing as well. For those that are shy about spice stay in the medium to mild area ordering it full spice is only for the brave trust me on this. They are tandoori, chicken and butter chicken meal are acceptable and exceptional for those that do not want to go into the spicy area of things. My honest ad is that they could be a little more creative with their drinking menu and hopefully in the future they will do so if not stay with the Moscow Mule or the standard well drinks and you will be pleased.

Experience the exotic flavors of India amidst the tropical beauty of Hawaii at this charming restaurant, offering not only delicious cuisine but also breathtaking ocean views. From fragrant curries to tandoori delights, every dish is a culinary journey. Very ambiance and friendly staff complete the experience.
One thing I was disappointed was charging 6$ for extra raitha which is a basic thing.

Good Indian food! They have quite a few vegetarian options so that was good to have. First day we got the vegetarian biryani for ToGo since we are going to sunrise point in the morning, so that was our food for the night and incase we were hungry at the top. Biryani was really good. Next day we came back to actually dine-in and have a sunset view while having dinner. This time we ordered Chai as my wife was craving. Along with that we ordered 2 virgin mocktails.
For the food we ordered kadai paneer and 2 garlic naans. The portion size for the curry was good for 2 people. Curry was good and tasty and we were surprised to have that good indian food here in Maui. Garlic naan was also soft.
For the dessert, we got the vegan kulfi and it was decent.
Overall we liked the food. Must try for vegetarians too. Loved it.

While dining at another Indian restaurant nearby yesterday, a local recommended I also try Monsoon. I'm glad I did because the food was exceptional. We opted for lunch and ordered:
Vegetable saag: This was the standout of the two curries we tried. It was incredibly tasty and bursting with flavor.
Vegetable kadai: We went for the spicy option and were not disappointed at all.
Bread basket: It included a combination of naan, garlic naan, and onion kulcha.
I was pleasantly surprised to find such fantastic Indian restaurants in Maui, surpassing some on the West Coast. I have to admit, "Maui is the best!"
The service was impressively quick, earning a solid 5/5 rating from me. As for the food, it was a perfect 5/5. The ambiance also scored well at 4/5, with a lovely view of Makena Beach.
Would I recommend it? Absolutely, it's a must-try!

This was my 3rd attempt trying this lackluster Indian cuisine spot inside an ocean front condominium complex and it will now be my last. The 1st time 2 of my friends got food poisoning. My food wasn't very good and they managed to make a simple fruit smoothie taste old. Maybe the ice isn't filtered but it was the same this trip. For an Indian restaurant to mess up the simplest appetizer on the menu, plain Naan bread and serve it burnt and the chef letting it go out knowing it was burnt is outrageous. I should've asked to take it off my bill but i was recovering from the flu and honestly didn't have the energy. I wasn't impressed the 2nd time I tried the restaurant either and for them to have so few vegan/vegetarian options without any plant protein like tofu was also disappointing. They also scared the whole dining hall when they remote controlled to lower the shades at sunset and everyone jumped at the loud sound thinking they were gonna fall from the ceiling. Then they lowered them covering the entire sunset that we were trying to enjoy. My friends may want to try it again but I will definitely be declining and suggesting we go elsewhere.

Ate here twice and was delicious both times. Recommend the Hawaiian Margarita, chilli paneer, chicken masala and fish Tikka. Amazing sunsets.

we came here with starving kids and the very first thing happened, 48 mins wait, with at least 50% empty tables, ordered a few things, I can say few things were delicious but few things like Roti bread is very hard and dry, can't even chew that. overall not a great experience dinning here for us.

What an amazing dining experience at Monsoon Grill and Bar! The expertise in Indian cuisine is evident in every bite, with plenty of delicious vegetarian options. The spices were perfectly balanced, and the portions were generous. The vegetable biryani and samosas were standout dishes. Will definitely return!"
Excellent service and a lovely dining experience
