Such a nice ambience and a great place for a quick business lunch. The calm setting makes it perfect for conversations, and it wasn’t crowded at the time we went. We ordered Nasi Lemak and Pad Thai, both of which were really good and well portioned. As a starter, we tried the recommended fried cauliflower but not our favourite, but still decent and nicely presented. The restaurant has ample seating space and a relaxed vibe. The staff were super nice and very welcoming, always attentive. They even served king coconut, beautifully cut and presented, along with the entire king coconut shake , a lovely local touch. Overall, Monsoon Colombo is a good choice for casual dining, business lunches, or even a relaxed catch-up. I would definitely recommend it. If you’re planning to visit on weekends or in the evening, it’s best to make a reservation, as Park Street tends to get overly crowded.

The staff were friendly and supportive, making sure we were well taken care of throughout the visit. The vibe was great—a happening spot with good music that lifted the ambiance without being overwhelming. The food was tasty, and overall, I was impressed with the quality and presentation. In summary, it was a pleasant experience, and I’d definitely consider visiting again.

At first glance, from the outside it doesn’t look like there’s much here – just a narrow lane with some tables. But once you step inside, it’s actually quite nice. The interior has a cozy vibe with exposed brick walls, stylish seating, and a modern setup. It feels casual but also a bit trendy. The food looks good – classic Asian comfort dishes. Presentation is neat, and portions seem filling. it’s just okay — nothing really special or memorable. Not bad, but not something I’d go out of my way for. The service team was very poor, and I’m not happy with the experience Overall, it’s one of those spots where you don’t expect much from the outside, but inside it’s surprisingly pleasant and worth a try.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The food was delicious and full of flavor every dish was cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. The place has a pleasant atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal with family and friends.

The food was all delicious but the portions were on the smaller side. I didnt like how the staff kept pushing us to order more drinks it felt a bit too forceful. Also, they kept checking and trying to clear the half finished bottles which disrupted the atmosphere. Other than that everything was fine.

The staff were attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. They offered helpful recommendations and made sure our experience was seamless from start to finish. It’s rare to find that perfect combination of great food and top-notch service, but Monsoon nails it effortlessly. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Colombo, Monsoon is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable meal in a vibrant, comfortable setting. We’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Food was nothing short of incredible, lovely options from Thai, Malaysian, Vietnamese and a few others, staff were quick and attentive, restaurant was quiet and relaxing, they are good with allergies too, food is well priced for the quality, taste and presentation, good AC as well.

Attentive and polite staff. Great selection of cocktails 🍸 Food was plentiful and extremely delicious. We sat and ate outside but inside looked great and spacious, clean.
