I was recommended to stop by this place to get tailoring done and I was not disappointed on what they had to offer! Jacob was a very patient and friendly guy that helped me measure pants I brought in for tailoring. He guided me every step of the way to make sure I was comfortable with what I wanted. Jacob is definitely very passionate for what he loves about vintage clothing and does not hesitate to offer assistance and advice in picking new material for your wardrobe! What was originally just a tailoring request turned into tailoring + buying two beautiful pairs of jeans and I was very satisfied. I definitely plan on returning more often! God Bless 🙏 ❤️

Been going here for a few years now anytime I have an important event and want a new dress, and I always leave with something beautiful and one of a kind! The workers are always helpful in finding what I may be envisioning for myself or recommend cute items, and are always knowledgeable and genuine when even holding a conversation about the clothes in the store.

Definitely a favorite of mine in all of Texas. This tiny shop reminds me of the good ‘ol days of vintage shopping —the stock isn’t dirt cheap (or laughably expensive), but it was clean, and well-preserved, and really well-curated. They have a type that they shop for and she is really cool. Also, the guy who was working behind the counter on the day that I went had the most soothing speaking tone and cadence. I shall definitely return.

I absolutely love this place! They always have a mix of basics and fun/unique pieces, and I only buy my denim here. Everyone is friendly and helpful. This is my favorite place to shop!

Couldnt have had a better experience! Awesome vintage store- great clothing and fair prices. I was specifically looking for some vintage rodeo wear and found too many pieces- they had such a wide array of styles and plenty of non-western inspired too. I was so impressed by the inventory they had. The family that runs this place was so nice and helpful in finding the little treasures you are looking for. Cant wait to come back the next time we are back in San Antonio.

Every time I come here I find multiple awesome finds! I was in yesterday looking for a dress for my sisters wedding dinner. Audria (I believe, I'm so terrible with names!) helped us and she came at me so quickly with the tape measure to help me find the perfect size! She pulled multiple beautiful options for me and I ended up getting the perfect dress! They are also having a great sale right now. Customer service was an 11/10 and really makes such a difference in the shopping experience.

This place has the most beautiful curated decor and clothing options. All the selections are hand selected by a "stylist" to make a story as unique as the individual wearing the garment. The owner Jacob is a beautiful person all around,a very approachable and warm personality and the staff has always been genuinely kind and attentive. If you need a garment altered or adjusted this is something that can also be done for you for your purchase. Lots of fun jewelry,scarves,purses,hats and glasses and other accessories. Music is good and lightning is great.There is dedicated parking. Definitely support St.Mary's small businesses they have been having construction going hard for EVER I think the street just got paved.

I love this boutique! Jacob has a super talented and cool eye And puts only his personally hand picked pieces in his shop I always walk out of there feeling on point and super stylish, excited about going out and wearing my new gigs!

What a find! An amazing site near the Pearl with plenty of assorted, selected vintage or closeout items which are easy on the eyes. I was particularly impressed with assortment of vintage and vintage inspired accessories found around the various rooms. The main room as you walk in is small enough that you can browse all the finds in about 20 minutes. As the other room is devoted to accessories, shorts and some tops, I feel like this location is ideal if you want the thrift finds without the hassle of a giant warehouse-style store. I particularly recommend checking out the enamel pins which have everything from a teapot with teacup to Kanye to a planet with a shooting star. Most everything is quality here if you search carefully. Now, my friend and I frequented the store during their buy one get one 60% off deal. However, we both ended up with a sum that was a bit surprising even with the sale. For those of you on a budget, I suggest only coming to this store when absolutely necessary.

I found a handmade Capricorn medallion here. It was made out of some sort of clay and on the back it was engraved "1976" with a signature. I have found other really cute vintage clothing here. Great place.

BESIDES their wide selection of vintage, Montage is so beautifully & intentionally organized. It stands alone as the gem in San Antonio for vintage shopping. We will always stop here when visiting & leave with exciting finds. Great prices. Helpful & friendly staff. Precious space.

Montage is so cute, I haven't purchased anything there yet but they have a very organized selection of vintage clothing. I think the denim excites me the most... they had some cool jeans

Montage is a cute quaint store. So many different options and varieties of closing. The prices vary.. in my opinion some things I think are way overpriced (a $65 T-shirt) and some are reasonable ($48 cute blouse). The employees are always super friendly but not overbearing. I always describe this place to my friends as a store that has what you want to find in the thrift store, but never have any luck. With that being said though, don't expect thrift store prices. You'll find some cool denim, vintage floral dresses, and some items that are more modern and look like their from a retail shop. Overall-- I recommend.

New to San Antonio and I still haven't found my place for midi vintage dresses. Montage definitely has what I need. Great selection and quality of clothing matches the relaxed, boho vibe. The staff and customer service is excellent. I was guided to the sections and also given time to shop for myself. I will be back for more!!

This was the perfect place to shop vintage clothes while still social distancing!! A small group of friends and I made an appointment to shop here (an hour and a half time slot) where we had the store to ourselves to pick out clothes and try them on. This store has lots of fun and stylish clothes and accessory's! The owner was very accommodating and was super fun to talk to. I definitely will be coming back soon :)

A gorgeously styled store, outside and in! I'm not nearly fashionable (or tiny) enough to pull off the clothes showcased here, but the selection is obviously carefully curated. I love how the garment tags have the cleaning directions, decade, and sizing info available for each piece. Store consists of two large rooms and a hall of accessories, with several dressing rooms. Some items are fairly expensive but quality was top-notch, nothing was falling apart and items had functional buttons, hooks, and zippers. Large selection of stylish sunglasses and bangles, small selection of bags and special occasion dresses (3-5 wedding dresses in back room). Staff is friendly. Bummed to miss the owner, Shelby, during my recent visit but her husband was more than helpful. Lots of treasure to be discovered here, and a great selection for men.

Psssst. Pssssssst. Ay Shawty...Let me tell you something about the what I believe is the BEST VINTAGE STORE in San Antonio. You like swishy skirts and high-waisted shorts? They got you. What was that? You're a man in need of an ironic, gently used cotton T-shirt. Montage is all over it. Their accessories (many of which are handmade and/or one of a kind) are second to none. I'm talking wooden bangles, delicate earrings, and conversation piece necklaces that will have people stopping you, reaching for your neck. Get used to smacking peoples hands away, and saying, "Yes, I know, breath-taking." A veritable cornucopia of selection, in an array of avenues. NOT GONNA LIE, the women's inventory seems to be bigger, however there seems to be plenty for men to choose from; with a lot of different styles (Bowling shirts, plaid pants, shades, cowboy boots, fedoras, Lacoste tops, they got 'em guys, all in ONE STORE, no less.) You might say, "But Sunny! I'm not a size 0, and there's no way I'll be able to look like the ravishing, impeccably dressed models I saw on the Montage Facebook page!" To that I kindly reply: 0_0 How much you wanna bet? I'm not a petite lady, never will be, and I *know* I'll be one dapper dame as long as I run to Montage for my outfit. They have enough show-stopping shorts and tantalizing tops for all the b*tchin' bodies that walk-in! If you like more than reasonably priced vintage clothes, or eye-catching accessories, or like going into a store and being punched in the face with sincere courteous customer service, this is the hot spot.

Wow, this place is awesome. It's a little tucked away but it's certainly a treasure worth looking for. This had been on my bookmark list for awhile now and I am very happy that I stopped in today. First off, the atmosphere is wonderful. The owners clearly love this place because it shows. The care and creativity that went into designing this space is off the charts. Everywhere I turned there was some sort of cute touch. I was totally impressed. The clothes have tags with an estimate of the vintage as well as an estimate of the size and care instructions. How cool is that? What a great idea! Sometimes it was hard to tell if something was vintage or new as far as the jewelry goes but that was minor detail. Everything was well sorted and I had a ton of fun looking through the selection. The prices really varied but I found them reasonable. While I didn't buy anything today, I really look forward to going back and hunting. On top of it all, we were treated to some awesome sangria while we shopped. Loved it! Can't wait to go back.

The neatest ma-and-pa, cutest little vintage store a fashionista will ever strut across in the city of San Antonio. Having recently just moved here, I am still moseying hi-and-lo for spots that complements my interests especially when I'm looking to shop. I absolutely fell in awe and in love with Montage Vintage. From the plethora of accessories like eye wear with a variety of sunglasses and unique frames to choose from (got some Ray-Bans Wayfarers there!), hand-made, rare jewelry pieces, pretty handbags, snazzy bow ties, and much more to clothing pieces that just scream (in the words of Rachel Zoe) "I DIEEEEE." The co-owners who, I believe, are married to each other have such a great vision for vintage fashion. The decor of the store itself is pretty sweet. P.S. sign up for their texts to receive information about discounts, sales, and new arrivals in the store! :) P.S.S. parking is limited as there are only a few spots in front of the store but there is plenty of street parking available!

I'm so happy that this store exists, just mad at myself for not finding it a long time ago. It reminds me of the vintage stores along south congress in Austin, except now I don't have to drive all the way to Austin to get my fix. The store has a wide selection of vintage dresses, and I found a 70's flower patterned dress for spring. They have a HUGE selection of necklaces, a lot of them made from found bracelets, broches, etc. Jacob makes some of the jewelry, and he had just finished a piece that had parts of an old bracelet, combined with a leather chain. He said that he is working on some new stuff, and I can't wait to go back and check it out. The side room has handbags and some shoes, and they are adding some home decor. For such a small space they have really made it flow well, and you can tell they truly appreciate vintage pieces and "up-cycling."

This shop is a hidden gem of the north river area. The shop itself is wonderfully cute, well stocked with plenty of vintage clothing for both men and women. She has a great selection of sunglasses and jewelry, too. There are a few pieces that I picked up there that are well loved and important parts of my wardrobe. The only reason that I gave 4 stars and not 5: The sizes are mostly smalls and mediums. I really wish there was more of a selection for women in larger sizes.

I stumbled across this gem while visiting San Antonio. I found some cool things and I really liked everything for sale. The owner was a sweetie pie and we chatted for a bit, exchanged some info, etc. I really liked this spot, but I wish the prices were a little bit cheaper. All in all, it was great and I will go back next time I am in town.

Lots and lots of vintage clothing. They do make some shirts with the Montage logo, they are super cute and so soft. They have lots of accessories that they make in house as well. This place is a little on the pricy side but I think k it's still reasonable. It has a really cool unique set up, and the girl that helped me out was really nice and friendly. Came here after buying a groupon and hearing about it from a neighbor. First vintage shop I've been in San Antonio. After entering was quickly greeted by I'm guessing the owner. I chatted with her a bit & she asked how I heard about the place. She then left me to explore which I really appreciated. I hate it sometimes when people won't let you look on your own or are too pushy. Just enough interaction to make me feel welcome and info about the store. Only bought a few things but really enjoyed my time looking through each room. So much jewelry but I'm not sure how much was actually vintage. I was hoping for more vintage rings and earrings but maybe it was just the day I went. I agree with what another yelper said about sizes. Most were too tiny for me so I stuck to jewelry and a shirt for my husband. I will continue to check back in from time to time to see their new finds. Overall a pleasant shopping experience with great music. I love supporting neighborhood shops!

Some cute things but ridiculously expensive. All clothes were in excellent condition. The clerk was helpful and nice. She was very friendly. The layout is cute the clothing is well organized. I do wish (as some vintage stores do) gave approx sizes, but the prices prevented me from considering a purchase.

This place was easy to find using navigation so that is a plus and why there were 2 stars awarded. I am disappointed with the selection of items. It seemed like their homemade jewelry collection was the main attraction instead of the clothing. The one item I did find that I liked was way too small which seemed to be a theme for the clothing since my friend who is larger than I am couldn't find anything to fit her. I was really surprised with the prices...almost $80 for a used dress...yikes! I expected more like half or a quarter of that price considering the age, brand and condition. If it were a brand new dress I would consider the price fair, but not for a used dress. My friend even commented that while she liked some of the stuff she couldn't afford it and would have to come back later. We originally went there looking for vintage veil hats and jewelry for a 1940's theme party, but were disappointed to find that they didn't have any veil hats and very few vintage costume jewelry. We were able to find two hats at the Goodwill thrift store for the party for about $10 and even some costume jewelry that worked well. I think next time I will skip Montage and go straight to the Goodwill. This place really needs to amp up their vintage items and slow down on the homemade jewelry.

I have to say I love this place. Absolutely love this place. If you're planning on going be careful you don't miss it. It's at the corner of Grayson and N. St. Mary's but it's tucked away so of course I missed it and spent half an hour getting lost downtown. Anyhoo, this place is great. The store is small but that doesn't stop them from filling the place with as much stuff as possible. When I walked in I immediately loved the mannequins. Whoever dressed those is a genius! I couldn't take my eyes off them and found myself hoping I could fit in them. The prices are moderate but for a vintage boutique it's actually not that bad. There are two small rooms that have a small nook in the middle. The nook has so much jewelery it's crazy. Love all the vintage jewelery. They also have some shoes in the extra room and tons of super cute bags. The men's selection is a bit small but there's some good stuff in there too. I am most certainly going back!

This is certainly one of best hidden shopping secrets of San Antonio. It does not stink like other vintage stores or make me sneeze. The boutique is organized, clean, and has the most awesome 80s clothes! Usually before entering a vintage shop, I make a mind-list of the things I want to add to my wardrobe to make it easier to browse. This time, I had wanted to buy vintage jewelry and a party dress. Did I buy either? Nope, but I went home with a black blouse from the 80s, that was in almost new condition for only $10. If I had more disposable income, I definitely would have bought almost all the necklaces and bangles and vintage Ray Ban sunglasses. The prices are quite reasonable for a nice vintage boutique, though. Will be back for sure!

Montage holds a special place in my heart. I've been shopping vintage across Texas and the US for years and no where else have I found such an awesome, hand picked selection of vintage clothing for girls and guys. Their selection of hand made jewelry is always expansive and they make new stuff all the time. Dressing rooms are great, the owners are friendly and helpful, and they have fantastic sales. You can not go wrong with Montage, it is simply the best vintage store in SA. Completely unique, I've been shopping there for years. If you are local and have not been, you are missing out!

Montage is one of the only places I've felt comfortable shopping at. Totally unpretentious, comfortable and welcoming. They have a great selection of sixties and seventies clothes that are not dated and an awesome selection of glasses. They also do fitting and adjustments.

This is a great little gem! I have found so many wonderful pieces here. Sometimes they can be a little pricey, which is why I wait for their buy one get one free sales! A lot of the clothes and jewelry are fixed up and embellished by the lady who owns the joint, but always in such a tasteful way! Love it

Interesting selection of vintage pieces for men and women, clothing, shoes and accessories. Don't expect a huge size range but everything seemed to be in great condition. A couple new, non-vintage items are in the mix as well. Salesperson was totally non pressure. A Groupon brought me in but I had to struggle to find something to buy.

I give this 5 stars and I mean it,. At first I was disappointed in the size of the men's selection until I realized I wanted to buy literally almost every piece of clothing for sale. Very good selection with no crap. Downside of this is that the prices are a bit high. $15-20 for a T-shirt. I did not shop the women's section, but it all looked very high quality and fashionable with a lot of jewelry and accessories.

The shop is full of great vintage finds and definitely worth a visit. I'm from out of town and on top of everything, the owner wrote out lots of bar and restaurant recommendations. Try it!!

Me and the wife found this place on Yelp and decided to come here due to all the good ratings. If you've ever been around this area you know there are more than a handful of "vintage" clothing stores. This one however was quite nice, it felt cozy, the employees weren't pushy and the prices were fair. Didnt find anything in particular but it was cool to see some real vintage clothes. It seems more catered to hipsters but that's not the stores fault, thats just the trend. Will be back again.

Like a fine wine the selection just gets better with time. Lovely store presentation. Love the mix of new, vintage, and refurbished jewelry. Love the dressing rooms! Employees are always friendly.

Montage Vintage is like nothing else in San Antonio! It is an amazing vintage shop, and has amazing gems all over the 3 rooms the store has to offer. I am a vintage lover, and montage has it all. San Antonio needs more cool places like this!

I am always buying the first thing I see when I walk in...which is usually whatever's on the mannequin. I love this place because it has some of the best quality dresses. I mean I buy some damn gorgeous dresses and look killer when I go out in em. I also buy dresses that won't fit me but I assume I can loose a few inches and be able to slide into em eventually!!! I need to bring my little brother in here for a shopping spree so he can get some clothing that fits and looks good on him. Only 16 and he's already a classy hipster dresser ;P

Finally a vintage shop where you don't have to sort through all the junk to get to the gems! It's a bit much for my budget, but with their wide variety and very cutesy feel I know I'll be coming back.

I first came to this place last year hoping maybe I could find a cool reasonably priced dress for prom. I didn't end up finding one but I did end up leaving with a gold shift dress from the 80s that looked like tin foil for about $40, I think. The prices aren't cheap but they're not ridiculous either. You might have to do a bit of looking but chances are you'll end up finding something you like. The owner, Shelby, has brown hair and tattoos and everytime I go she is soo nice and sweet. I sign up for emails from this place and they usually have some sort of discount or deal going on, so why not come and check this place out?

Really unique jewelry here! The owners Shelby and Jacob have great styling tips and can help you put together outfits and pair jewelry pieces. I wanted to lengthen the chain on one of the necklaces I bought and they were happy to do it. Definitely enjoyed my experience here.

In my opinion, this is the best vintage store in San Antonio. Even though it's in a small space, their selection is great. Yet it's not too cramped and unorganized to make you weary. If you're looking for an alternative to the generic selection at the mall, this is the place.

I visit San Antonio a few times a year and I am always looking for new places to shop when I'm here. I learned about this store from Groupon. Decided to stop in and I'm glad I did! I've been searching for a unique pair of cowboy boots for a few years and there they were. It may seem pricey for some of the items, but but keep in mind they are unique and new I would've paid more than double for the boots and in California even more! The jewelry is very reasonably priced and one of a kind. The owner was very friendly and when I mentioned I had learned about her store on Groupon but I missed out on the Groupon deal, she gave me a discount anyway. Now that's good customer service! I will deffinitely visit everytime I come to San Antonio.
