We were 5 adults who met to celebrate my mother-in-laws birthday! The beautiful scenery is breathtaking and the renovated cottages are truly a great work of art. Unfortunately there were too many "hiccups" and faux-pas which left us very much disappointed and convinced we won't be back. My mother in law ordered in advance a meal other than the raclette, and was given a choice between meat or fish: she was served a bland fish served coldish, presentation left to be desired with tasteless accompaniment. The raclette was good, however we were obliged to pay for an extra "raclette" because they only serve for minimum 6 people. The service was very poor, considering that the man who did the raclette talked endlessly, trying to keep us entertained by talking the entire meal with no possibility for us to interact between us. We were unable to have one single conversation between us...unacceptable. |The chalet needs to improve certain things to justify the price paid: please unplug the sinks in the bathrooms, the couch in the living room may be vintage but needs a good cleaning, so does the green carpet in front of the fireplace which is just disgusting, not to mention the spider webs in the glasses, no keys to lock-up....You are overpriced for what you deliver: 65 CHF for a raclette + the extra 65 CHF for the raclette you need to pay for but didn't eat, and 65CHF for the equivalent of a "plat du jour"? Not to mention the cost for the chalet for one night!!! Come on guys, you're just going overboard and people don't like the feeling of getting ripped off. |Thank god the scenery is beautiful!!
