Montania Special Class Hotel

Stayed at the Montania Hotel for 4 nights. Room was clean and tidy, no issues with room service. Breakfast was excellent, I just wish I'd had more time to try everything. Staff were always helpful. The room would have been improved with a full length mirror. I would be happy to stay there again. The fish restaurant is a must visit

Excellent place to stay just minutes away from the ferry port. The sea view is amazing and the breakfast is delicious! Also, the swimming pool is ideally located, just next to the sea but with some shade available.

The hotel is generally good, located in a beautiful spot facing the sea and offers a decent breakfast. However, there are two points to note, the rooms on the second floor facing the sea have very low ceilings, which could even pose a risk of injury to guests and the hotel entrance can sometimes get crowded due to weddings, with the music playing until late at night, which can be disturbing. Overall though, I recommend visiting this hotel at least once for the experience.

I had originally written a review after my stay but had wanted to edit it after gaining new information. ||The best thing about this hotel is something that has nothing to do with the hotel itself — the views. From the start we had issues in terms of space. There was no dresser in our room for 3 people and very limited closet space. Actually, it was meant for 1-2 people but they added a small bed. The extra bed was not very comfortable. We were aware of the condition of the room before getting it, however, for the price, I would say that it was not a good deal. ||The worst thing was the breakfast. Not only was it dry, but we saw mold on some items, causing us to cancel. It was obvious that items are being reused several times. We also watched several other customers drop tongs and simply put them back without notifying staff and picking food with their hands, but this is not uncommon for a buffet. We were able to cancel our breakfast eventually, however, we were initially denied this request. ||The cleaning was executed by very kind people, however, they would remove the electricity for the whole room when we are gone. This is problematic for people who utilize the fridge, potentially causing the items to spoil. They complied very well after asking if they could keep the electricity on, however I think this shouldn’t be a standard cleaning procedure for every room. This didn’t cause much of an issue regardless, however I was surprised when I realized they turned the power off with a fringe in the room. ||When we would request things to our room, we would sometimes never get it at all. Sometimes calling the front desk several times and just giving up in the end.||I was also notified a few days after our stay that they had discussed my review with someone who was not a customer. I believe this to be very unprofessional as it was a personal experience of mine. ||Overall, I do not recommend this hotel. It is not run optimally, and not to mention the loud noise you hear in your room from parties. I’m not so sure the views are worth the pricing, and I would definitely say the breakfast is not worth it if you are staying multiple days.

Front dest seemed to not know what was going on majority of the time. I’m not so sure the views are worth the lack of transparency. Potentially look for something else. Edit: I found out that staff has discussed this review with non-clients and I do not believe that this is professional.

The hotel is very close to the BUDO station and near a shopping area which is very convenient. I appreciate Mr Unoor for sending me a video of the room so I knew it wood be small. The room had a sea view which was amazing, a comfortable king size bed and uncomfortable guest bed. I appreciate that the front desk was able to cancel our breakfast upon request. Room service was not the best.

The main building is great! However l stayed for 3 nights as l was a guest for a wedding the reception of whose would take place in the main building and l have to say that l was so much disappointed!!!! There was no proper air-conditioned room actually it didn't work the whole time l stayed and the internet connection was with gaps the whole time!!! The temperature was approximately 39°C and you can imagine it was so hard to sleep and take a rest!!! That was the worst experience l have ever had concerning a hotel stay!!!! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip. First of all, the service was excellent, and the view from the terrace on the ground floor was fantastic. However, there were two issues: the WiFi speed and the paper-thin walls in the room. The WiFi speed was not fast enough to watch Netflix without buffering. The walls in the room were too thin. One night, I couldn’t fall asleep because the room next door was noisy until 3 AM. It seemed like there was no soundproofing. Despite these issues, I really liked the hotel. The location is convenient, with a big supermarket to the east and many shops to the west.
