I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Monte Belvedere by Shiadu, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure my stay was perfect. They were attentive and always ready to help with a smile. The accommodations were extremely comfortable, providing a cozy and relaxing environment. I was impressed by the meticulous cleanliness of the room and the hotel overall. It's evident that they hold high standards. And let's talk about the breakfast - it was incredible! A delightful spread with a variety of delicious options to suit every taste. It was the perfect start to my day. Overall, my stay at Hotel Monte Belvedere by Shiadu was truly delightful, thanks to the wonderful staff, the comfortable and clean accommodations, and the fantastic breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay!

I traveled with my daughter, so safety is very important to me, and we felt completely safe here. The location is excellent: peaceful, yet well-connected. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, offering great suggestions on what to see and helping us organize tours. But the absolute highlight is the rooftop terrace! Breathtaking views over the waking city at breakfast, or a sunset sangria to end the day. Just perfect. 👌

Hotel Monte Belvedere Hotel by Shiadu was a fantastic location and experience! From the moment I arrived, despite a hiccup with the entrance access, the warmth and helpfulness of the staff were outstanding. The hotel's historic location is amazing. Nestled in a hilly, picturesque area with very limited access to cars, it offers easy access to many local attractions and foods, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. The security and comfort were top-notch. My room was cozy, well-maintained, and provided all the amenities I needed for a restful stay. Upon booking, I asked for a room with a view, and they made it happen. The breakfast included with the stay was perfect! A small suggestion for fellow travelers: if you are not arriving via a hotel-arranged cab service, I would inquire about the best drop-off point, especially if you have heavy luggage. I discovered a much easier route a few days into my stay, which was a lot less daunting than the steep hill I initially tackled when I arrived via Bolt. If arriving at night let them know the time so its easier to get buzzed in. Overall, my stay at Hotel Monte Belvedere by Shiadu was close to perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay in the city.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Monte Belvedere Hotel by Shiadu! The location is fantastic, so close to everything you could need and right near all the tourist attractions. We couldn't have asked for a better spot to explore from. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our time here and are already looking forward to our next visit. A perfect 10/10 experience - we would definitely come back here!

Monte Belvedere was an amazing boutique hotel. It’s in a charming historic building nestled into the side of the hill. It’s located in a restricted traffic area so it was quiet and off the beaten path. The hotel also has an environmental commitment and serves food grown at their farm nearby and composts and recycles. We had amazing views from our rooms, but even if you don’t upgrade you can visit the 7th floor terrace for a drink and experience one of the best views in Lisbon. It’s worth it to pay for the daily breakfast so you can start your day relaxing with a full breakfast, a coffee or tea and take in that amazing view. The staff were incredibly helpful and reached out before our arrival to offer their car service and to answer any questions we had about our accommodations. They also made great recommendations for places to eat, shopping and nightlife spots. Two small improvements they could make are washcloths as part of their linen service and conditioner in the shower. Note the location is great but may prove challenging for people with mobility impairment due to steep hills and stairs.

The staff was supper nice and that was definitely a highlight! I also liked the rooftop terrace. Location is good, just keep in mind that uber can not take you straight to the hotel and you would have to do a little bit of walking.

A charming boutique hotel with a beautiful rooftop view; perfect for sunsets! The rooftop restaurant had great vibes, and the young lady at the rooftop bar made me one of the best sangrias I’ve had. Pedro at the front desk was also fantastic; he assisted me personally with a restaurant reservation and was very kind throughout my stay. The breakfast had a few vegan-friendly items, which was a nice surprise. The only downside: Uber pickups and drop-offs require you to walk up the street and around the corner, since the hotel is on a cobblestone street in a historical/private area that drivers can’t access directly. This could be annoying if you have heavy luggage or after a long day. Other than that, I’d absolutely return!

They went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met, always with a smile on their faces. The breakfast was delicious, Additionally, the correspondence before and during my stay was really helpful.
