Monte Belvedere Hotel by Shiadu

Lovely hotel located at a great location if you plan to explore the city. The rooms are well equipped to offer you a complete relaxing stay. The staff is very friendly - kudos to both - Pedro and Pedro (hopefully spelled it rightly). Generally a value for money option this hotel is. The only improvement that I can think of is breakfast - it was tasty but offered limited variety. Increasing this, would make it even more wonderful.

Hands down the best hotel we stayed at in Lisbon! From the moment we arrived the staff were incredibly helpful, warm, and genuinely kind — they made us feel welcome and went out of their way to make our stay easy and enjoyable. Our mornings were a delight thanks to a truly delicious breakfast with a great variety of fresh options. The whole experience was comfortable, pleasant, and memorable. Couldn’t recommend Monte Belvedere Hotel by Shiadu more!

What a wonderful stay at Hotel Monte Belvedere by Shiadu! The team there is fantastic — they welcomed us like old friends and gave excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to do around Lisbon. Our room was exceptionally clean and smelled lovely, and the rooftop is absolutely stunning — a perfect spot to relax and take in the views. Breakfast was perfect, and the complimentary coffee and espressos were such a thoughtful touch. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next visit and will happily recommend this hotel to our friends and family. Thank you for a memorable stay!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hotel Monte Belvedere Hotel by Shiadu! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my visit was perfect. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring, making me feel welcomed and valued. The room I stayed was not only very quiet but also extremely comfortable and clean. Breakfast at the hotel was another highlight of my stay. The variety and quality of the food served were excellent, ensuring a delightful start to my day. I still miss those Nata's :) Overall, my experience at the Hotel Monte Belvedere Hotel by Shiadu was nothing short of excellent. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Monte Belvedere Hotel by Shiadu ★★★☆☆ Charming location with beautiful views over Lisbon, and the building itself feels cozy and characterful. The rooftop terrace is definitely a highlight. Staff were polite and generally helpful, and the breakfast offered a decent variety which we couldn’t have it due to flight time. (We had cold breakfast in the restaurants as they prepared for people earlier). However, there were several disappointments. The room we stayed in felt smaller than expected, and some furniture looked a bit tired. Noise from the street and nearby rooms was noticeable, so light sleepers might struggle. There was no iron available, staff mentioned they had one but weren’t sure where it was or who had it. While the hotel has charm, for the price, I expected a bit more comfort and attention to detail. Finally, getting to the hotel can be tricky, you’ll likely need a cab, or be ready to carry your bags for 5–10 minutes as most Bolt and similar services can’t drop you right at the door. It’s a nice place if you value location and views, but it may not be the best choice if you’re looking for modern facilities or complete quiet.

Only negative is that walls are thin- every night we could hear people stepping upstairs (we were at the very bottom floor- room 1) Thank you to everyone at Hotel Monte Belvedere for making our visit so memorable.
