Monte da Galrixa

We had a wonderful stay at Monte da Galrixa! Beautiful venue, clean and cozy rooms and an amazing breakfast the next day with fresh orange juice. Ana was so kind and helpful, she even helped us organize a transfer from Zambujeira do Mar and gave us recommendations on where to get dinner that evening because it was Easter Sunday. I would definitely come back and stay longer next time!

We stayed one night during our six day walking vacation. Very friendly and helpful staff at this very well maintained, quiet and beautiful place. After a long day of walking in the sun it was perfect to get a refreshing dip in the pool and a nice cup of coffee in the shade.

Me and my wife went for a week and really liked the place. It’s clean, cosy, you can enjoy and relax around the pool but also take a walk to see the animals of the farm. Though we do not have kids, it’s a nice place to bring them. A lot of green area for them to run and play. The breakfast is good and all the appliances and internet work very well. We recommend.

Located near to some of the most beautiful beaches we have seen. The apartment was well equipped and the grounds were very nice. The nice owner and staff made it a really nice stay. When you like a quiet holiday in a beautiful environment you should book this. You will need a car to get around, but it is definitely worth it.

We had a great 3 nights at Galrixa, we wished we'd booked longer! We loved the farm, Anna and her father were so welcoming and we'd definitely come back. Breakfast was great too, and the facilities were clean and exactly what was needed. We loved the more personal experience in a quiet location compared to a hotel. Thank you :-)

This is the first time I’ve ever left a review. I had to, the owners are amazing, welcoming and so flexible. The place is gorgeous and the bed is so comfortable for an amazing nights sleep. Breakfast is home made and they really treat you like family. Would loved to have stayed longer if I could but only had the one night. If I’m ever back, there is nowhere else I would stay. Thank you! ♥️

If someone is looking for quiet, peace, nature and sunny days along the swimming pool, this is the place! ||||The days can be spent relaxing by the pool and walking in the nature. The rooms are clean and very cosy. The staff is always very friendly.||||What a spectacular experience to repeat!

The place offers the best of two worlds: countryside with beautiful landscape and close to the most beautiful Alentejo beaches. The rooms are comfortable and nicely refurbished. They are not luxury but have the essentials. The best is the garden, and the nice relaxing pool. The team is extremely nice and attentive to your needs. Breakfast is of great quality and complete. We had a wonderful stay in Monte da Galrixa and definitely recommend it!
