Monte Mulini Adults Exclusive Hotel by Maistra Collection

Lovely hotel, huge room on floor 1 - bathroom was massive and appreciated the Molton Brown toiletries. Spa was great, although used the one in next door hotel Lone more often. Have seen comments about no direct usb charging and agree this would be a very useful addition. Location is good, it’s peaceful with the sea just steps away and nearby forest park to explore. Best thing about this hotel in my opinion was the staff at breakfast, they are a joy! Especially Sandra and Tanja who were so welcoming and friendly to us. Good selection of hot and cold food for breakfast, served from 7am to 12 noon so no need to rush! |Tiny gripes, had mentioned to hotel we were celebrating 20 years wedding anniversary this year, nothing in room to acknowledge which was a bit disappointing tbh. Staff on reception whilst helpful and polite, could learn a thing or two from breakfast staff and room cleaning staff who were cheerful and always very friendly. Sounds like hotel is being refreshed over winter, sure it will be lovely. Far too expensive for us in hotel restaurants at night, so always walked into Rovinj for meals - would mention here to try balbi and Santa Croce for great food. We had a drink in Lobby bar one evening, lovely local wine but no atmosphere so didn’t return.

Have just returned from a week here. The hotel is simply amazing, as close to perfection as you can get. It really should be six starred.Our room was spacious, well equipped, comfortable and peaceful. We had a lovely balcony view of the sea and well kept gardens.| The staff were friendly, helpful, obliging and efficient. |The breakfasts were outstanding with a breathtaking array of food and drink.|With its proximity to the town, a short walk away, along a peaceful promenade the whole essence of having a great holiday is here. Many thanks to the staff and management. We shall return.

Exceptional service, beautiful rooms, and great facilities. I really enjoyed their breakfasts on a lovely terrace with a nice view. Great orange juice in particular, and a very wide selection for breakfast. The service was very friendly. I would happily come again. The walk into town looks bracing (20 minutes), but it is along a wonderful promenade and there are lovely views and shops. Of course if you want to stay right in town, you can choose that, but I liked the benefits of the hotel pool and beach and so on, yet with still quite convenient access to the beautiful little town of Rovinj.

he location is perfect, the reception staff is excellent, the lobby bar is phenomenal. The breakfast is very good, although the buffet offering is relatively limited, the ala carte section complements it perfectly. The balconies of the rooms are really minimal in size and this is not acceptable for this kind of hotel. They are also very close to other rooms so there is no privacy. The partitions that divide the balconies from the other room are made of cheap plastic, which is not a good solution for a 5-star hotel. The wellness area and the pool are miniature in size, if there are five guests there it is already very crowded.It is necessary to conduct communication training with the breakfast staff, priority when serving and pay attention to personal communication that the hotel guests hear.

Brilliant week in this hotel. A warm welcome as we arrived. Our room was ready so that was a bonus as we had an early flight. Second floor with gorgeous views. Hotel staff are fabulous. Not one member of staff walks past you without saying hello. Special mention to the room cleaner and breakfast waiting staff. The girls are tremendous. Pool bar staff very helpful and the sun beds are so comfy. We have visited Rovinj many times but we will be back to stay in this hotel. Wish the pool was a little warmer. But it’s end of season.

This is our 5th visit to this wonderful hotel. As usual, everything was great. True, this time our vacation was a little spoiled by jellyfish, but it is not the hotel's fault. The staff is very attentive, all our requests were fulfilled very quickly. The breakfast is great. The only thing I missed at breakfast was ice cream. Cleaning the rooms, changing towels, water, tea, coffee - all this creates a good impression of the hotel and a desire to return, which we will definitely do.

We enjoyed our 9 night stay very much. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, especially the concierge (Tena/Irina), pool staff (Haris/Ante) and dining staff (Sandra/Fuso/Saša). The grounds are beautiful, the pools are very clean and the food offering between Monte Mulini and the sister properties is wonderful. The only thing that can use improvement is the room. It is a bit dated (decor/furniture) but the bathroom was nicely updated. We would recommend a stay and will be back.

Great stay at this beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The staff and facilities are all great. They are about to refurbish the whole thing over the winter. We sincerely hope that they manage to retain the wonderful atmosphere and character they already have here!
