Monte Pascoal Praia Hotel Salvador

My room was beach front. A king bed was not an option when we booked so we booked a double to have more space in the room.|The room had two full-size beds. Beds were comfortable and clean. The balcony was clean. It was a nice place to seat and watch the beach and ocean. The view was wonderful. The view is the highlight for the room.|The negative is the amount of mold and mildew in the bathroom. There’s a clothes line but it was moldy so we could not use. One day a roach ran across bathroom floor. We never saw any more. The room was cleaned daily and the linen changed. Towels and beach chairs are available.|The patio is nice with plenty of seating. The pool is beautiful.|The fitness room is fully equipped and the machines face the beach. Nice view of the beach while on treadmill or weight machines.|There is a refrigerator but not much room since it’s packed with items for you to buy. Also, there is not a microwave in the room.|The room is missing an ironing board and iron.|There are restaurants, a pharmacy and grocery in walking distance.|The staff was friendly always responsive. If you don’t speak Portuguese bring your translator. |The shower has good pressure and is hot quickly.|It’s a great room at the price point.|The breakfast buffet is like a resort spread, plenty of options. The restaurant is reasonable, service was good and the meal is good. |There are a lot of nice features for the hotel. |The hotel is beachfront so you can walk across the street and be on the beach.

The best is the private beach section just in front of the hotel. JAIN, the beach manager receives the 5 stars. Very friendly, helpful and supportive to enjoy the vacation. The Hotel eceives 4 stars. The breakfast offers everything except smoked salmon. 😉

I had the pleasure of staying at the Monte Pascoal Praia Hotel Salvador for two weeks in August as part of a group trip, and the experience was exceptional. The hotel is impeccably clean, quiet, and safe. Every staff member, from housekeeping to management, was friendly, responsive, and attentive. The front desk staff, in particular, communicated well in English, which was a plus for our group.||Perfect Location: The hotel boasts a prime location directly across from Farol da Barra Beach. On weekends, Avenida Oceânica is closed to vehicles, transforming into a lively promenade. It’s the perfect spot to explore local vendors offering clothes, art, and souvenirs, or to enjoy a meal at one of the many nearby restaurants.|Additionally, there’s a pharmacy just a block away, and Shopping Barra Mall is an easy, 10-minute walk from the hotel.||Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast buffet exceeded expectations, with a delicious and varied selection.||Customer Service: While the overall customer service was excellent, one standout was Gustavo from the front desk. When a couple of group members fell ill, Gustavo went above and beyond to ensure they were well taken care of, demonstrating genuine care and professionalism.||My stay at Monte Pascoal Praia Hotel Salvador was thoroughly enjoyable, and I would highly recommend it to others. I’m already looking forward to returning in the future!

Excellent place to stay. No doubt have the best breakfast I have ever eaten. Lots of options to choose. Excellent views, spotless with excellent service. Everyone in the hotel is willing to help and make your stay as confortable as it can be. I highly recommend this place

Loved this place! Great breakfast spread in the morning. Very nice pool and right across from the beach. Nice rooms with comfy bed and strong shower. Great staff with English spoken. This place exceeded my expectations by a lot. Loved Salvador in general.

The staff is wonderful!! At breakfast I had a great time with the staff, super friendly, attentive, friendly staff, always with a smile on their face, and many of them knew the name of us guests, it was a pleasure to be able to have breakfast in the midst of so much attention and affection. Thanks so much, I recommend and I would return a thousand times because of you.

Good hotel at a great location. Delicious breakfast, with so many options! We had a lovely time, and the staff is wonderful. From security and front desk, restaurant/bar to the beach service, they made our stay extra special. Special mention to Bruna, Carol, Lúcia and Douglas at the Restaurant, the attentive chef and kitchen staff, and Jair, who did a great job at the beach. Would stay there again anytime!

Jair was absolutely fantastic and offered me and the guest at the beach a 5-Star Hotel Experience. He was professional, attentive and courteous. I could not recommend him enough as the employee who went above and beyond to make me feel safe, welcomed and appreciated. Jair is simply the best!!!
