Monte Pascoal Praia Hotel Salvador

The Monte Pascoal Praia Hotel in Salvador, Bahia is one of the most fantastic places I have ever stayed during my holidays. It truly feels like home. I have been a guest at this hotel for over 10 years now, and I recommend it wholeheartedly.||The hotel is perfectly located right in front of the wonderful Barra Beach and offers special, tailor-made services on the beach for its guests. Breakfast is simply a dream: a huge buffet with a wide variety of Brazilian and local Bahian cuisine, fresh fruits, vegetables, and delicious pastries.||The staff is extremely friendly, and I always look forward to seeing them every time I return. I genuinely feel loved and welcomed here. The employees make sure all our needs and requests are taken care of and that we feel comfortable at all times.||The hotel also features a heated swimming pool for relaxing, as well as a small but fully equipped fitness center. There is an on-site restaurant for lunch and dinner, concierge service, and the hotel also organizes daily excursions around Salvador and Bahia.||When I am in Salvador, I don’t think twice — I always come back to Monte Pascoal.||My heartfelt thanks to Dona Eliana, Dona Jose, Seu Wando, Ramon, querida Juliana, Seu Flávio, and the entire Monte Pascoal team.||I am incredibly grateful for your care. Loved this hotel. Loved the fact that the front desk staff member on the day spoke English and recognized my name as being Greek. Very close to the beaches of Salvador, a lot of the staff are very proud to work there (apparently no one was let go during covid and this was one of the few hotels to do this). I invested in an ocean view room, and it was worth it! The in hotel WiFi was some of the best in Brazil. Breakfast was a treat and the warm heated pool was great too. The hotel was a little dated, but this was expected given we had walked past it last year and saw it was a little older but still very functional. Only feedback is a lot of the floor staff are a little older and prone to grumpiness towards each other at times.

Amazing experience. The manager Deise was welcoming and helpful with everything we needed. Great staff and great food. New years was amazing too with live music and catered food.

A nice hotel at the beach in Barra. Ocean views are lovely. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is solid. The gym could use help - better equipment and AC units that both work.

This was our first day and they’ve been great and accommodating. Let us move to a room with a king bed instead of a double bedroom. Quick to respond to service calls on WhatsApp.

There is one thing about Bahia that people are perhaps unaware of: the sense of kindness and welcoming that the locals can be. There are a lot of hotels everywhere. Yet, a true Bahia experience comes from the interaction with the locals. This place has an outstanding trained staff. They are very professional and yet, they made the customer feel like home. And that is valid to the whole team: from the booking, through reception, security agents and the breakfast/restaurant team. By the way, the breakfast is absolutely amazing, with the most delicious local food served freshed. The rooms are very good, with views to the sea. The pool, the gym and all the other facilities are very nice. In overall, this is the best hotel to get around Salvador and also relax.

Great location, just across the street from a beautiful beach. A short walking distance from restaurants and shops. Wonderful outdoor space around pool. Breakfast buffet has wide variety of delicious fruits, juices, coffee, meats, cheeses and eggs. Impeccable service. A great central point to explore and enjoy Salvador.

The most amazing staff ever. They hold the sense of being in Bahia: from the reception team, the security agents, the whole team of waiters and waitresses in the restaurant.... This place share the truth Bahia way, being very efficient and professional and yet, making everybody feel at ease. Best place in the city for relaxing and visiting.
