Monte Subasio

Amazing views. Go up to the top for a chance to see wild horses.

Monte Subasio is a very beautiful place to have a picnic or if you need to go away from the city and if you wanna enjoy the nature. I love the time there in the middle od nature, the only sounds that I could hear were the birds, the insects or the wind. It feels like your in the heaven, the sky is so clear and near. Be careful when going there with a car because the streets are in a bad condition. There is place to park.

Really wonderful place 😍 If you like nature, hils, long walks or you want to challenge yourself go on the top. I tried the way from Spello to Assisi and it was really hard but definitely worth it. 😊 You can enjoy the beautiful views on the countryside and also on the horses and cows that are on the top. And if you are lazy there is also a way for cars. Just google some touristic ways and go, but I recommend to download the maps offline, there are some places in the forest with low mobile signal. 😏 Enjoy.

Fun and tiring walk up from Assisi. Well worth it for the views. Take plenty of water with you!
