Great location. It is perfect for a 2-3 hour trip around San Marino. Very low prices for souvenirs. Nice Ice cream

Cute little place, clean and well kept. Surprisingly not too expensive for food, drink and entrance to the towers and museums. Walking between the three towers was my favourite activity, the paths are nice, flanked by woods and greenery, so very easy to stroll on. Coming by bus from Rimini can be hectic, as the bus gets very busy, so plan ahead.

One of the most fantastic places in Europe. Moving up to hill is a little bit like fairytail. Great views. And prices are not too heavy even in centre of tourist destination.

Monte Titano, a great gem. We headed to San Marino from Ancona, about an hours drive. The drive was easy enough on the toll roads, about £4, followed by some great windy roads to get to the cable car that would propel us up to the mountains summit. The cable car was cheap for a return ticket, about €4. You have to sort of force your way onto the cable car once it arrives as there is limited space and no clear queue. Once at the top there are stunning views of the surrounding area. The place is fairly large with many shops and restaurants. Most of the castle is accessible for free with just one of the 4 main towers, that we saw, requiring payment to enter which we avoided. A fantastic day out and definitely worth a visit in the area.

I was very disappointed that the entire old town area is full of trashy shops selling fake designer fragrances rather than anything interesting. They really sell themselves short by aiming for the lowest end of the market rather than trying to make this into a premium destination. Even the restaurants are low end and low quality. I'm pleased to have ticked it off but wouldn't bother returning.

The historic center of San Marino, set on Monte Titano, is a charming mix of medieval streets, stunning views, and rich history. A UNESCO site, it’s perfect for strolling, sightseeing, and soaking in the unique atmosphere. Beautiful, peaceful, and full of character—a must-visit!
