Beautiful and peaceful. Nice to take a little walk, visit the artist studios, buy some fruit and veggies at the farm shop or have a snack at the picnic cafe and deli or bite at the gardener's cottage restaurant. Nice place to be in nature and have a relaxing time and see some cute squirrels. Children and Dog friendly

Relaxing green space in Newlands. Picnic Cafe is a lovely coffee shop, and the staff are very friendly. The Greenhouse Nursery is very special & you will always find something rare and unique. All the small businesses are artistic, and the staff are friendly and eager to assist.

Went there on 29 January 2023 just after 12pm. It's free to enter and there is lots to see. I liked the greenhouse a lot as there were various plants to look through. It's a nice place to chill and relax. The wooden art work is spectacular as well.

Really lovely place in Cape Town; reminded me of art places near Brighton (UK) and Cornwall (UK). Good parking and I think they also do a bunch of art classes also. Very peaceful surroundings and great food at the picnic cafe. The granola amazingly does not have raisins so that was a win for me!

Cape Town's best-kept secret is right. It's a magical, ramshackle place completely shaded by trees where you'll find design studios, a plant nursery, a sculpture garden, a cafe, & an excellent coffee shop. Don't miss.

Beautiful and quaint with a peaceful and friendly atmosphere- even my doggos loved it. The Picnic Cafe and Deli staff were welcoming and efficient. The nicest Spicy Chai! Yum.

Quaint place with a very wide variety of shops/stalls. Be it art, crafts, jewellery, decor etc. there’s bound to be something that catches your fancy. As with most things in Cape Town though, it is tourist focused and not always so friendly on the local pocket. But if you’re not in the mood to shop, strolling around the lovely nursery and it’s many little greenhouses is also a wonderful pastime. The Gardener’s Cottage restaurant also offers a range of meals from simple tea and scones, to more elaborate burgers and more. Enjoy a glass of wine or cup of coffee under the camphor trees or sit inside where it’s more cosy on the windy days. If you want a little bit of everything and a fuss-free day out, Montebello is a good place to try.

A very beautiful and peaceful place. The restaurant is cosy with a warm atmosphere. There is an art gallery, fresh produce, shops with many beautiful handmade items and a charming nursery.
