Montebelo Indy Maputo Congress Hotel

I went just for a workshop. The facilities are good and also the coffee breaks and lunch. The projector was based on VGA with very poor quality for an audience of 50 people. Nobody can see any figures on a graphs. The equipment must be upgraded.

Hotel is well located. Check-in is easy and efficient with all the details and amenities explained. Breakfast is scrumptious and service is great. I was disappointed with the fact that you do not have access to an iron and laundry service only opens at 7am. Be prepared to attend meetings with wrinkled clothing if you arrive at night. Everything else checks the right boxes and staff are friendly and respectful.

The environment is very relaxing and quiet. Beautiful gardens as you go to your room. Swimming pool, spa and gym available. Prices tend to be on the expensive side.

Nice infrastructures, rooms are good but service from reception is terrible|Never seen an hotel where you have to carry your luggage by yourself to the room that is far away from reception... Same when checking out. Also recurrent key issue... had to walk back and forth to the reception from my room as the key was never working. Also ladies at the reception can't put a smile on...

Stayed here with 4 kids for a month in a spacious three-bedroom villa. The place is clean and neat, also very safe. Housekeeping service was friendly, helpful, & efficient. All amenities are on point. Towels & sheets were changed regularly. Soap, shampoo, toilet rolls, were always refilled. Laundry service was fast and dependable. Tried the room service twice, but we're not impressed. The swimming pool is nice for kids, but it's a long walk from our villa. In and out of the hotel was also a bit uncomfortable because of the rough walkway (especially when you have to drag lots of luggage) and the distance between the villa and the gate.

Nice place. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Cleaned toilets. I do not recommend eating seafood. It was not delicious. On the other hand, I strongly recommend matapa and "Rodizio" Live music for Friday nights is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED 🇲🇿

Good parking space, the main conference room is big and well lit. Overall an average experience. Not in the category of Radisson blu or Southern Sun but still a decent option.

Booked a chalet. Chalet was spacious with separate kitchen/dining area, bedroom and bathroom. Very clean and reasonably well maintained. All chalets are in a compound with 24hr manned security. Safe provided in the room.||Restaurant and bar area very pleasant and food is good. Staff vary between (mostly) helpful and cheerful and downright surly. I think the ability to speak Portuguese (I don't) is a distinct advantage as not all staff are fluent in English.||Swimming pool with a small bar is very nice. Conference facilities are excellent.||I'm happy to recommend this hotel to anybody who needs to visit Maputo.
