I have been to many aquariums, but none quite as beautiful as this one. It's huge, and every exhibit is breathtaking. The jellyfish were my absolute favorite. Even the café puts any other ones to shame. I can't wait to visit again with my family!

This place can get pretty crowded, which makes it tough to fully enjoy the exhibits. We arrived after 2:00 pm, and it seemed like the penguins, sea otters, and birds were mostly resting—almost as if we hit their break time. The busy environment sometimes detracts from the experience. MAIN PURPOSE AND AMENITIES Primarily, this spot seems designed for educating kids and raising awareness about marine animals. The good news is, all floors are wheelchair accessible, and wheelchairs are available for visitors who need them. PARKING AND TIPS FOR VISITORS Parking is limited, so it’s best to plan ahead. Arriving early or exploring alternative transportation options can help avoid frustration. Overall, it’s a great place for learning, but the crowds and parking might make your visit a little challenging.

Aquarium is beautiful. Watching the otters and learning about them was my favorite. They are so cute. All the employees are very knowledgeable and very nice. Beautiful displays. Worth a visit

The Monterey Bay Aquarium is an absolute delight! My kids love it here—every exhibit sparks their curiosity and wonder. The kelp forest, playful otters, and mesmerizing jellyfish keep them fascinated for hours. The staff is friendly, and the commitment to ocean conservation is inspiring. It’s educational, fun, and breathtaking. A must-visit for families looking for an unforgettable experience! Five stars all the way! 🌊🐠

The Monterey Bay Aquarium is a beautiful and well-maintained place with amazing sea life exhibits, especially the jellyfish and kelp forest. It’s definitely worth a visit at least once, though the ticket prices feel a bit high—maybe even slightly overpriced. Still, it’s a fun and educational experience overall. Great for families and ocean lovers.

My daughter and I were staying with family in Carmel Valley, CA, and we visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium on 7/14. The aquarium has wonderful exhibits, and we so enjoyed ourselves and loved it. We loved seeing the two sea otters, jellyfish, green sea turtles, penguins, kelp forest, and open sea with some bigger fish like tuna and mahi mahi. There were lots of volunteers there to answer guest questions about the exhibits. There are various shows and feeding times. There are feeding times for the sea otters, penguins, and open sea. Definitely don't miss the gift shops here as well to find some unique gifts to take home. We had a great time here and learned a lot and found it to be very educational. I highly recommend visiting here.

My mom took me and my sisters to the aquarium on Mother's Day. It was nice but a bit boring, perhaps because it was my first time there and not as good as other aquariums I've been to. But the town is really nice..

Yelp
so, besides coffee shops, the most checked into places that i see on Yelp are sushi places and, guess what? the ocean is dying, just like most of our planet and our resources and for sure romance, but that's a whole 'nother thing so, to people with wealth: if you like eating sushi, DONATE HERE if you like eating fish, DONATE HERE, LISTEN TO WHAT THEY'RE SAYING or else it all goes away if you like swimming, having an ocean, etc, start friggin taking care of it, again or else just like with people, if you don't value them, if you only value dollar bills, that's all that you're gonna have left when the bubble bursts, cuz guess what, it's about to burst RIGHT NOW: no tuna no shrimp no salmon OR ELSE YOU DON'T GET IT IN THE FUTURE contribute to a sustainable life and renewable energy OR ELSE YOU DON'T GET THIS MAGICAL LAND & LIFE IN THE FUTURE God/The Universe/Creator only created so much water and if 80 people control most of it, billions are going to die and i don't have to tell ya that that ain't right, kid figure out that money doesn't really matter that much, that the best things in life are free, and that you have to have to have to VOTE WITH YOUR WALLET for people and businesses like The Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch Program that actually take care of our land and our people OR ELSE IT ALL GOES AWAY . . . peace www.seafoodwatch.org
