This is a difficult one to review: Pro: service by Adam was exceptional. Calamari appetizer best I ever had as was the cannoli for dessert as well as the cappuccino. Cons: entrees were just OK, even disappointing. 60 degrees out and the AC was on and blowing right on us. Music was loud too. And it's very dark. Worst, their small parking lot was full so I had to park almost 1/4 mile away! Really?? My group said "well now we can say we tried it."

It’s a nice restaurant. But the lunch menu did not have as much options as I was hoping for. I just wanted a simple lunch. It’s was simple but did not taste good enough for the price range. I would recommend going somewhere else to find more options. The service was great though.

Monte’s is all about the sauce—it’s the real deal. If you’re a ragu lover, this place should be at the top of your list. The hotel it’s part of is incredibly cool; while we didn’t stay there, just walking through the lobby was an experience in itself. And the view of the Sound from outside the hotel? Absolutely breathtaking. As for the food, everything we tried was excellent. The egg sandwich was hearty and delicious, with the poppy seed bun adding a nice touch. The pancakes were perfectly done—fluffy and flavorful. The Caesar salad is generously portioned and perfect for sharing. And the meatballs? Extraordinary. Seriously, the sauce is what ties it all together—so rich and flavorful. Monte’s is officially on my must-visit list for every trip to Montauk. I can’t wait to come back!

Great service, drinks, and food. Get the ravioli limone and pesto pasta. Don’t get the calimari as the pieces are super thin and mostly batter.

Meatballs ..spot on ..even the bread is spot on ..perfect calamari ..the burger is delicious 😋 I've had everything on the menu but the swordfish meatballs and it's all superb..highly recommend visiting Monte's at the Manor ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Lobster Pappardelle in spicy pink sauce was one of the best dishes I have ever had! Just for that alone, I would come back without question. The service and drinks were excellent too! I had breakfast here as well and enjoyed my avocado toast. My only criticism is that I wish they had better-tasting coffee.

When Food & Wine deems a pasta sauce as “ The Best” in America, you have to try it. Monte’s on the Manor is serving a classic Spaghetti with their secret Monte’s Family recipe sauce, and it was worth the drive to The East End. The NY strip steak is a solid choice, but I was floored by how good a simple spaghetti with sauce can be. The entire Manor team knows how to craft enchanting hospitality, and that’s in a town where the expectation bar is NYC- skyscraper-high. Come if you want a calm, elegant and refined Montauk experience, the best money can buy.

Incredible LOCAL restaurant. Food is 5 STAR. Be sure to try the SHRIMP A LA MONTE, Baked Clams, Chicken Parm, Dessert and the best coffee! Sit with John at the bar and enjoy some great cocktails.

Yelp
We stayed at the Montauk Manor for a weekend event with the American Littoral Society and our meals were all at Monte's. Breakfast was amazing -- first day I had poached eggs with sausages which came with bread and hash and second day I had ham and cheese omelette and bacon which also came with bread and hash -- huge portions. The sausages were really tasty. Lunch was good - I tried the fish and chips. It was a light batter, not breaded. That's the way I like my fish. The Caesar salad tasted fresh and the dressing was flavorful. Dinner -- chicken Parmesan was a huge portion that I only could eat about a third of it. Packed the rest to go. The arugula salad had a nice dressing. I would recommend a visit to Monte's for any meal.

Yelp
Pleasant restaurant inside the Montauk Manor hotel, catering to guests and locals drawn te the historic building and elegant setting. The food is predominantly Italian-American with a variety of pasta dishes and plenty of seafood as well. I had the fluke piccata which was mellow and satisfying. The capers and olives lent some texture to the mouthfeel and provided savory flavor to complement the mild fish. I also ate the complimentary bread with much gusto. For dessert, I tried a slice of the Italian Rainbow Cookie Cake. This was a little disappointing as the cake was dry and had a pungent garlicky flavor, like it had been cut with a knife that had just chopped garlic. I recommend inquiring about what's freshest when making your selections! Service was great (shout out to Michael) and I felt welcome and looked after. A step above many hotel restaurants and worth a visit if you're in town.

Yelp
We had our meeting at the Manoe and chose Monte's as our last supper. I really liked the venue which is cost but not pretentious. The bar at the front is really casual and the perfect way to kick off dinner . The service is friendly stellar and very comforting . The food was amazing as my team couldn't stop raving . We ordered many items but the meals speak for themselves . You can see how professional and prideful they are - a must visit in Montauk !

Yelp
My work colleagues and I visited Montauk Manor for 3 days and had a joyous experience. Monte's did NOT disappoint. The servers (shoutout to Derrick!) were fantastic and the food was tasty. HIGHLY recommend the swordfish, truffle fries, and baked oysters. For dessert, since my birthday had just passed a few days ago we enjoyed the rainbow cake which nearly topped my favorite pastry shop in Manhattan (Veniero's - a NYC staple if you haven't tried it yet!). Overall, Monte's was a 10 out of 10 and we'll definitely be back in the near future!

Yelp
We ate dinner at Monte's. We loved the ambiance. The food was excellent. I had the clams oreganata for appetizer and veal parm. My wife had the fluke which was also excellent. The drinks were just right and the service was perfect. Highly recommend.

Yelp
The mussels dish did not taste good. The cheeseburger was salty. The monte pasta was okay. Our server was very pleasant. It would have been nice if he didn't forget to bring us our drinks, though. He apologized for forgetting to bring our son his juice but forgot that the wife and I ordered sodas. The ambience was very nice. All in all, the experience was okay which reflected in my tip.

Yelp
Food was very good, but limited. They were out of a few things. Admittedly we were off season. Service was great and the ambiance was very nice. We would go back.

Yelp
Stayed at the Manor. Food and service was great. The omelettes were both good and there was a large variety of food to choose from

Yelp
This is a MUST go to when in Montauk !! Such a warm atmosphere , friendly staff and GREAT food AND drinks !! The baked oysters and the stretch are 2 of our favorites for appetizers and the linguine with clam sauce , chicken parm and pasta bolognese are to die for !!! HIGHLY recommend !!!

Yelp
We initially got there and sat at the bar. John the bartender was fantastic, super personable and knowledgeable about the history of the place as well as the town in general. He was also able to give us some tasty menu recommendations. If you go here I would recommend stoping at the bar if John is there! Once we sat we had the mozzarella dip and it was phenomenal! We couldn't stop eating it the sauce was perfectly made and it paired great with the toasted crustini's they gave with it. For our meal we had chicken parm and the spicy pasta and they tasted great too! It's a small little place with only about 20 tables inside and it felt very nice and warm. We will be back without a doubt

Yelp
Took my wife, her parents, and our kids here. Some of the best food I've ever had in New York! The pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce had so much flavor. I loved the calamari as it was some of the best I've had. Very fresh and just a right amount of breading and spices. Stretch mozzarella was something that is so hard to find on the West Coast. Could go back and just do that! The bar makes incredible martinis, and the service was on point. We had such an amazing time walking around the beautiful grounds after our meal. This is a must stop every time we go to Montauk from now on!

Yelp
Best Italian restaurant in Montauk. All the staples with a warm and educated staff to go along with it! Highly recommend!

Yelp
What an amazing experience!!! The food was delicious and the experience was wonderful. We were seated immediately and loved the warm atmosphere. We loved the swordfish meatballs and fluke piccata. The fish was fresh and the flavors were amazing. The stretch appetizer stole the show especially with my kids. We bought the Montes sauce (really the best sauce we've ever had) and have been trying to recreate it since we've been home!!! Of all the restaurants we visited in Montauk, we truly thought this was the winner! Highly recommend:)

Yelp
food was mediocre. service was terrible . after the waiter took our order we never saw him again. Also when my husband paid the bill tip was already included because we were a party of 6 but a tip option popped up when he was paying. it's extremely deceitful when you are asking for a tip when it is already included in the bill. i would not recommend!!

Bill L.

Yelp
We had a very nice dinner here. Wait staff was attentive and food was very good. One shortcoming is when you order a $18 dollar martinis and get a $4 dollar up charge for a big of olive juice it seems unfair.

Tina T.

Yelp
Grabbed last minute, late reservations for my Aunt's birthday. It's a small place, but the food was excellent. Drinks were strong. Waitstaff were friendly. I had the Ravioli Limone and I highly recommend it. Absolutely delicious!
